The Deck Hotel by Happyculture

We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Deck at Nice Hotel, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The location is unbeatable, perfectly situated for exploring the beautiful surroundings, with both the beach and the charming old city just a short walk away. The facilities are top-notch, offering everything you could need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The breakfast provided everything you need to start your day, with a decent selection to suit different tastes.

What truly made our stay memorable was the lovely staff. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our visit. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail really set The Deck apart.

I can’t recommend this hotel enough and look forward to returning soon!

Excellent location, close to the beach, shops and restaurants! The rooms were clean and everything you needed was provided. The staff were lovely and friendly. I will definitely stay here again!

The location of this boutique hotel is great. Right in the heart of Nice, close to shops, restaurants and a short walk to the beach. The staff was very helpful and it was nice to have access to their loaner beach towels and some water tubes to float in.

The overall concept of the hotel is fun and creative, however the quality of finish in the execution is lower than what I expected from a 4 star hotel. Our first impressions when entering the hotel is that it felt like a nicer youth hostel with a DIY remodel, not exactly the impression of a 4 star hotel. The property could use some new beds, new air filters in the AC units, at least a fresh coat of paint and perhaps remove the large potted cacti that were prickly hazards to avoid. It was truly the friendly, helpful staff and location that makes this property.

Lastly, we did enjoyed having AC that worked and actually cooled the room during some very hot days as during our travels across France this seemed hard to find.

I had stayed here with my family for 3 nights, not only was the hotel very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly, quite accommodating along side the great drinks the Bartender Nina had prepared some amazing cocktails that I need the recipe for! I cannot recommend this hotel enough if you are coming to stay in Nice.

I stayed here for 3 nights. I chose this hotel for its good reviews regarding cleanliness and service of the staff and I was not disappointed. My room was clean upon arrival, all the staff I spoke to and ask assistance from were very friendly, accommodating and helpful.

It also helps that the hotel is right in the center, a few minutes walk from the promenade/beach, near shops, restaurants, a supermarket across the street but also an organic supermarket in the square behind the hotel.

The room is a little small but this is the standard in most European cities. The hotel gave me a room in a quiet part as requested but their rooms are not soundproof— the room next to me had noisy guests and I could hear everything. The reception staff were available to call the noisy room to assist me.

All in all it was a very “nice” stay in Nice and I would recommend this hotel.

Our stay in The Deck hotel was really great! Not only is it very close to everything you need, like restaurants, shops and the beach. But the people working there are so kind and helpful as well. We would really recommend it to everyone!

This hotel has great service. The breakfast is wonderfull and delicious. There is so much comfort and nice people you will immediately feel like home, I would recommend this hotel for your first time in Nice!

We stayed at The Deck in April 2024. It’s clean, easy going with friendly and helpful staff. We found it great value. The location is very close to plenty of good restaurants and main shopping streets, close to the waterfront, and an easy walk from the main station. Would definitely stay again.

Had a very positive experience staying here for a week in Nice. The location is unbeatable - perfectly positioned close to the beachfront, Old Nice, and the train station. Very fast and consistent wifi even in the rooms. Rooms are comfortable with great beds and excellent showers. Service was great, especially the reception at the front desk.

Had an absolutely fantastic stay here. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast in the morning was amazing. The rooms were very nice. The hotel is something different given its nautical themed, we really enjoyed that aspect of it

There are lots of lovely touches to, one being the coffee machine which is available 24/7 and the water bottle which you can fill up and bring to your room. We also really liked the fact that in the afternoon snacks are left out to!
