A good stay from start to finish - nice rooms with everything we needed, and a great location for multiple Metro lines. Nice staff and great to have free coffee and mineral water in reception. We were celebrating an anniversary so my parents' room was upgraded which was a nice touch.

I stayed here for a night while in Paris. It was convenient booking a room the same day because I couldn't get a train ticket to London. I however wouldn't call it a 4-star hotel, not sure by what standards it's being graded. I would say it's a 2-star hotel in a prime location. It's a convenient 10-min walk from Gare du Nord and Gare d'Est. The check in and out processes were straightforward. The room was clean but when I wiped down the toilet seat with a sanitizer, which I always do, it had a brown stain on it. I got the impression it wasn't cleaned properly and asked the hotel staff to please clean it. They came in and spoke a lot of French but left without cleaning it. Cleanliness is of utmost importance to me. The room is however soundproof, much needed in Paris' streets. The reception was clean and had beautiful portraits of Zendaya and Tom Holland. I recommend the artist sends them a copy; they are excellently done. Breakfast is at an extra cost. Overall, the stay was adequate for a tourist who would spend most of the day outside the hotel.

As I approached the hotel, the surrounding area gave off an ominous vibe. It was uneasy right from the start and this first impression only deepened as I entered the lobby. The receptionist's behaviour did little to alleviate my concerns. He seemed sketchy.
The unease continued as I made my way through the hotel. No proper reception and the lobby filled with towels and mattress. The overall atmosphere was one of disrepair and neglect, amplifying the sense of insecurity. The room itself, though somewhat clean, could not shake off the feeling of being uninviting and unsafe.
The combination of the shady area, the receptionist's sketchy behavior, and the hotel's dilapidated condition made my stay an uncomfortable and nerve-wracking experience. Couldn't shake off the feeling so we had to change hotels even after rebooking this months back. We had to pay 1000 for 2 nights to get this horrible experience. Very very disappointed. Not at all worth it.
In summary, the entire experience was marked by a pervasive sense of insecurity and unease, making it impossible to relax or feel comfortable during our stay. Never going back to Mercure. Huge red flags with safety.

The hotel room was well below expectations. We had booked this hotel because we hoped that it will be a reliable 4-star hotel as being part of the Mercure brand. However, the hotel is not 4-star at all. It needs a lot of improvement and a good renovation to raise the standards. We didn't have any major issues with our stay, apart from being a bit disappointed with the condition of the hotel and it felt like we were in a decent 2-star or mediocre 3-star. I wouldn't recommend staying there if you expect a good quality of hotel up to a 4-star standard. Probably you could find other hotels at the same price which are going to be proper 4-star... It is not worth paying a premium price for such an accomodation.

I was very taken back upon arrival because this is listed as a 4 star
hotel. The room was so unbelievably tiny along with there being other peoples hairs all over the “ clean sheets “ I had to ask for another pair to switch. The area was great because it was closer to the metro stop but also very loud. The shower glass didn’t shut all the way and it was really hard to keep water off the floor. I was asked multiple times at check out if we got breakfast during our stay which we didn’t and I thought that was weird. I would not rate this a 4 star hotel.

Nice small hotel. Although in the center of Paris not too loud in the evening and night. The basement has a nice setting for the breakfast. The room was comfortable and had all we needed for our weekend stay. Would come here again.
