We had our honeymoon from 20-27. 09 and everything was wonderful. The food, the beach, the staff attitude and the restaurants. We received an upgraded room and a late check-out because of delayed flight for free

The beach has plenty of sunbeds and a bar, and the beach restaurant serves good food. We would definitely stay at this hotel again

for example, the fountain, the restaurant that isn't operational, and some areas that could be better maintained

The best feature was the beach bar which is part of the all-inclusive package - nothing not to like there! I think the main disappointment was the dining experience - I like to be all-inclusive & know the food can be a bit ‘hit & miss’ but I think that there could’ve been more variety & even just more if a description of what there was available - I like to know what fish I’m eating!! The food is excellent with a huge choice and enough changes from day to day. This is not a place to go B&B as you’d need a hire car or taxi to escape, although a regular bus goes directly from the hotel to Heraklion

We enjoyed the food all the staff was very friendly especially our evenings are the lobby bar were very pleasant the all inclusive cocktails were very sweet but if you pay for a cocktail it’s gonna be very good thank you Giannis and Emmanuela for recommending me the cucumber royal, although there was only one server he was very friendly thank you Chris and all the lobby bar staff for making us smile

The hotel is not near a town, but you can get a bus into Heraklion for 4 euros return. The private beach is small but stunning and the beach bar is part of the all inclusive

Fantastic stay. Stunning location. Loved cocktails in the lobby bar. All inclusive food and wine very good, included cocktails disappointing but Spritz’s in the lobby bar were terrific. Lovely views from all aspects.

My stay at Peninsula last June was absolutely unforgettable—one of the best vacations of my life! The hotel is spotless and beautifully maintained, and the staff is incredibly friendly, especially in the restaurant and at the reception

We had a great few days here with family. Such a beautiful location surrounded by amazing views. All inclusive food was great, a good variety that changed daily

The food choice and quality at the all inclusive was excellent, the vegetarian choice was good but we found many foods not labelled (apart from allergens) so sometimes it was hard to determine if it contained meat or not

The location is each to their own, we didn’t mind it. There’s a beach down the slope of the hotel, there’s restaurants there, very cheap and very friendly with beautiful food. A few shops, and water sports

The holiday agent offered us Panorama Hotel Village and we were very happy and satisfied with this offer and the rest of the holiday. Our room was clean and tidy, the AC was working perfectly

Our holiday story: we booked a hotel nearby, where they cancelled our booking 3 days before our departure. 4 of our family has been separated into 2 different hotels

Check in is through an application but you can use it to book a table in their own restaurant and gives you useful information about the bar, pool and the island itself

One thing to keep in mind here is that there are a lot of stairs and steps everywhere. We actually like that, but we're not escalator-lazy so we might be a bit biased. The food was great, every meal a treat

Rooms are air conditioned and clean, you get daily room cleaning and towel replacements. Not the most ideal if you struggle with stairs but not a problem for our group

The staff were very polite and helpful even with language barriers, the barmen panos and Ali were extra friendly

They grill the meat at the restaurant, but as far as we could tell, barely any spices were used, and the meat is always burnt black

Dinner and tea times offered plenty of choice with different things each night, basics like chips and pasta were available everyday but there were always different fish, meats and vegetables every day

Overall we loved our stay at Alexander house it was perfect for our first family holiday and we would definitely recommend it for anyone who wants a quiet getaway with a lovely beach and amazing food

But be ready for average food and bad drinks Personally i doubt i will be back to this place Suggestion: Get a rental car

Chrissy's Paradise was a wonderful experience. Everyone working there was incredibly nice, especially Giorgi, the housekeeper. Mila, who took care of our room, always greeted us with a smile, and we wish her all the best

If you are very easy with drinks then you will be ok, but in general all the drinks are way below average, including soft drinks and juices. Again I understand it's an all inclusive, but they were really bad

Chrissy, the hotel owner, made sure that we felt the warm, family vibe throughout our stay. It’s the perfect place for families and anyone looking to relax and enjoy the sunshine

The bartenders were always friendly and kept the drinks flowing! On Sundays, there was an entertainment night, which we really enjoyed, but we wish there had been more since there aren’t many party options in Agia Pelagia, and at night, there's not much to do beyond visiting restaurants

Very nice location close to Heraklion. There is hop on, hop off bus for sight seeing just in front of hotel. Hotel has pool, small pool with slides, it is close to beach

All inclusive drinks were really limited. Water slides were great for the kids and we could let them wander themselves as felt really safe (youngest is 10). The only downsides were that there wasn't enough sun loungers

Food was good - we had excellent meals, also some average meals that did not match our tastebuds, but that happens everywhere. Coconut cake is to die for, on the other hand breakfasts were a bit boring

We had 9 fantastic days in te Dessole Dolphin Bay Resort. I think the price was worth it. The animation team was excellent, the food was delicious (the snack buffet at beach taverna was the best, the children loved it)

The manager Pepi is over there and she do the best to have that you need treatment!!! It's so beautiful and clever nice and friendly! The Hotel she have so nice food! And so beautiful gardens with tree's flowers everywhere! We love and we come back for the spa and the hotel!!!

The swimming pool is small but clean, and the beach is very nearby. Nice restaurants in the street and you can take a bus to Heraklion city

We have been at Marirena Hotel just some days ago and I would like to underline that everything was perfect. I was surprised because lots of people sent descriptions that are not real

For breakfast, sandwiches, boiled eggs, toast, pastries, yogurt with many different condiments. Dinner is delicious, different every day. Close to the beach with beautiful sunrises

If we would have known that there are no baby seats available we would have taken ours from home. A longer stay in the room on the departure day was not possible although we are civitel members

That was not that bad, although it would be easier for our baby to have a proper day time sleep, the problem was, that the receptionist wasn’t very keen to explain why we couldn’t have the room until our departure time

Most of the service personal was very nice. Although we booked a taxi service with a baby seat via reception and didn’t get a seat so that we had to drive with our little one on our lap

We were also aware of the nearby power plant, but it didn't cause any noticeable pollution. The hotel itself feels newly renovated and very well-maintained

An excellent hotel, located just outside a beach. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. Sunbeds are available for free both at the swimming pool and the beach. If i visit Crete again, i'll come back here for sure

And the fresh crepes and waffles made by the lovely lady were simply amazing. Our room was always spotless, thanks to the daily cleaning service
