Cozy hotel located on a hill, offering spectacular views of the Bay. It is conditionally possible to name the area of the main building as active. Zone separate systems (Annex) ideal for lovers of peace and tranquility and those who prefer to combine more economical accommodation with all hotel infrastructure. Guests with disabilities and families with young children road to the beach may seem tedious. The hotel provides free transport to the beach. Sports animation during the day and evening shows.

Location: 25 km from Heraklion airport, 2 km from the fishing village of Agia Pelagia. Bus stop at the entrance to the hotel (bus goes two to four times per day).

The hotel is in a cascade on a hill and consists of a 2-storey main building and a separate Annex of the complexes. Annex – Athina is located 150 m from the main building, apart from the main area, separated from the main building, with road, 300 m from the beach. The complex has a pool, small Playground, and a snack bar. Annex – the Artemis complex is located 50 m from the main building and separated from it by a road. The territory has a pool and a small Playground. Annex – complex Ikarus & Dedalus is adjacent to the main building (walking the stairs), and guests use the swimming pool located at the main building.

The hotel has 200 rooms (all with sea views).

Total area: 14 000 m2.

Beach: public sandy-pebble beach 200 meters from the hotel, 2 line. Umbrellas, sunbeds, mattresses – for a fee. Towels are not. There is a service to beach (4 times daily).

We had an amazing holiday in September at this hotel and would highly recommend it for families looking to relax and create unforgettable memories.

The hotel itself is lovely and very clean. The food and drinks were varied and catered to all tastes, so there was always something enjoyable for everyone. The views around the hotel are beautiful, and there’s a stunning beach nearby that made our days even more special.

What truly made our stay unforgettable was the customer service — it was honestly one of the best experiences we've ever had. Every single member of staff was super friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and happy. A huge thank you to the entire team!

We’d especially like to mention the amazing bar staff, Gorge and George, and their manager. They were absolutely brilliant and brought so much fun and positive energy to our holiday. Big hello from Valeria, Tatiana, and sister :)

Also, a big shoutout to the lovely girl who ran the kids’ evening disco. She was fantastic with the children — they absolutely adored her!

All in all, it was a fantastic stay, and we’re so grateful for the experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, fun, and family-friendly holiday!

This is a lovely hotel but I wouldn't class it as a 4 star hotel. It is in a beautiful location, stunning views and a quaint little beach in a bay with lots of water activities. The staff at the hotel are fabulous, friendly and happy to help. The outside area is small but well kept and lovely to sit around. There's a bus to and from Heraklion. The entertainment was fun and different each night. It's a great little place. My sister and I had a fabulous time.
The downsides to this hotel, which in my mind would make is a 3 star hotel. It doesn't replenish your bottled water each day in your room and there's no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. We kept buying water but the fridge didn't work so we couldn't keep anything cool. There was also no little extra toiletries in the bathroom. There was a soap dispenser in the shower but no shampoo/conditioner, flannels, etc.
The food, there's lots of beef and pork dishes, occasionally chicken, plenty of vegetarian dishes, great salad variety, but the hot food is so salty! It's a shame because there was so much to choose from but the flavours were overwhelmed by salt. Don't expect great quality, fancy cocktails either. But the beer is really good.

I had an amazing stay at the Blue Bay Resort! The hotel is absolutely beautiful – everything is perfect, from the elegant design to the friendly and professional staff. The atmosphere is relaxing and luxurious at the same time. The view from my room was simply breathtaking – waking up to the stunning sea view every morning was unforgettable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a dream vacation.

This was our second visit to the Blue Bay Resort, and it felt like coming home. From the moment we arrived, the kindness and genuine warmth of the staff and management surrounded us like sunshine.

Every little attention, from their friendly smile, thoughtful gestures, the special “welcome back”... it all made us feel truly special and cared for.

The all-inclusive buffet is simply great, with a wide selection of delicious dishes that cater to every taste. Whether it’s breakfast overlooking the sea from the terrace or a late evening meal, the quality is very good. Though one small point of criticism, it seems to us that the variety seems to be a bit less compared to last year with more of the same dishes returning every lunch and dinner. Yet, there's still more than enough to satisfy everyone.

We also loved the activities available which were perfectly balanced between relaxation and fun, giving us the chance to enjoy the beauty of Crete while feeling completely at ease.

What makes Blue Bay Resort truly stand out, though, is its heart. You can tell that everyone working here genuinely wants you to have a wonderful stay. It’s rare to find that combination of professionalism and heartfelt hospitality.

We left already dreaming of our next visit.

We stayed for one week at the Blue Bay Hotel and had a relaxing time. The facilities were nice but not particularly special - on the third day we found a quieter pool by the hotel's second building up the road, which was less crowded and more relaxing. I'd recommend for those looking to relax.

We stayed all inclusive and the food was nice, if a little repetitive at times. There weren't many meat options, normally pork or liver (not much chicken in particular).

The rooms are well furnished and comfortable. There was a bit of noise in the corridors, particularly late evening when the bars closed.

Note that the location of this hotel is quite far from any local amenities - there are some small souvenir shops and a small beach within walking distance, but Agia Pelagia is a couple of kilometres away. There is a regular coach to Heraklion for sightseeing.

A cozy, well-appointed hotel. There are fruit trees, lots of flowers and flowering bushes growing on the hotel grounds. Many rooms offer a beautiful view of the sea. The descent to the sea is very comfortable. The public pebble beach. There weren't always enough sun loungers. It's better to arrive early. The food at the hotel is varied. The staff's work deserves praise. The employees are responsive and friendly. Our requests were satisfied very quickly. We leave the hotel with kind and warm feelings of gratitude for a wonderful vacation.

Such a lovely stay! The staff were always professional and friendly, and we were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a larger room on the top floor, which made our stay even more comfortable. The room, the restaurant, the whole resort - everything was spotlessly clean! The air conditioning worked flawlessly. The location is quiet, and even with a pool-view room, we heard no noise at all.

The food is a real highlight! The meals were delicious and varied, and the drinks included in the all-inclusive were great too.
We really appreciated that we could use the resort’s facilities even after check-out.We were also given lunch and dinner vouchers while waiting for our evening airport transfer.

The only minor downsides were that the luggage room wasn't locked (anyone could walk in) and the safe in the room comes with an extra fee. In the bathroom was no shower curtain, so the floor got wet after every shower. A smart TV and a better hairdryer would have been a nice touch, but not a big deal.
Also the beach is nearby, but it’s down a steep hill, so getting back up might not be ideal for everyone.

Overall, an outstanding experience and highly recommended!

Room - 9/10 [Hot Tub room] Private & Big balcony

Service - 2/10 Rude staff, look down on their customers a lot.

Location - 1/10 Very difficult to get anywhere, walks are vertical hills. 50 euros to the city one way.

All Inclusive - 4/10 Food was decent, drinks were awful. Cheap cola, cheap beer, no spirits, only ouzo cocktails.

Wouldn't stay here again.
