The resort is located on a private Peninsula in Agia Pelagia , with its architecture similar to the Cretan village and is surrounded by a spacious garden, a river and 3 beaches. It features its own Botanic garden, 7 freshwater pools and a Spa with hydrotherapy pool. On site many restaurants, serving a variety of dishes, from fine French to Italian, from fusion to traditional Greek and Cretan. Contra: There are some things that don't work... for example, the fountain, the restaurant that isn't operational, and some areas that could be better maintained.
We received an upgraded room and a late check-out because of delayed flight for free.
It was the best decision for a holiday at this hotel.
My family and I recently stayed 4 days in the hotel and had an amazing experience. The hotel beach(s) and pools are perfect, with 2 water slides for the kids fun.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout my stay. The 2 bed room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with all the amenities I needed, including 2 bath rooms. The only downside was that our room was on the first floor, right above the area where the entertainment staff performed. It was a bit loud, but we enjoyed the music, so it wasn't a big issue.
The variety of food and beverages was excellent, and the spa was both relaxing and enjoyable.
Overall, the hotel meets my expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
We have stayed at a lot of 5 star hotels in Greece but this is NOT 5 star quality. The private pool in our room was a health hazard,! Something you’d expect in a budget hotel. Our first evening we all looked at each other and thought - what have we done. We have never been so disappointed when arriving on our holidays.
The food thankfully after the 1st evening did improve but if you are a family with young children or disabled persons, this is not the place for you.
It is extremely hilly, with only 2 golf cars to help people get around a very large complex. We saw so many families with very young children struggling up the hills.
Sun loungers, forget them. They have 200 sun-beds and 1000 guests, no sun-beds at all. Even if you did wake up at 5am to find a bed, you were beaten to it.
We relied on our broken pool or a chair we could find to keep us all cool.
On a positive note though, the views were stunning
