I had an incredible experience staying at The Athens Gate Hotel in the heart of Athens, just a stone’s throw from the Acropolis! 🏛️✨
The location was unbeatable! Just a short walk to the Acropolis, with a stunning view from the rooftop terrace. 🌅 The Christmas dinner was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of traditional Greek dishes and festive treats. 🍽️🎄 The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for celebrating the holiday season. ❤️
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for a magical Christmas getaway in Athens! 🎅🎁

Rooftop has 360 views of the city. The rooms were exceptionally clean. Breakfast was decent. They were also kind enough to upgrade my room a bit. Would definitely stay there next time as well.

I had a lovely stay. The staff were so friendly and informative, ensuring everything was smooth and I had everything I needed. The room was clean with fresh lavender on the bed. The balcony oversaw the Temple of Zeus which was lovely. Breakfast in the morning was served on the rooftop restaurant with direct views of the Parthenon that couldn’t be beat. The hotel’s location is right by the Acropolis metro station and is only minutes away by foot to the Acropolis museum and Parthenon. There are plenty of options for food and shopping just around the corner, too! If you are looking for great hospitality and to stay in the heart of the history, the Athens Gate Hotel is a good choice. I’ll be back when I visit Athens again!

This hotel is in such a great location if you want to be in the heart of all the history.
The staff were very friendly both at the front desk and up in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The food that was served was fresh, hot, and delicious! Breakfast has a lovely variety of options of hot and cold food options.
The room was spacious, clean, and well looked after. Good sized bathroom with a shower and amenities.
Our only issue with this hotel is that the heating came on without being able to turn it off, and that made the room too hot to sleep in, so it made out the final few nights a little uncomfortable.

Excellent location which is within walking distance ti Acropolis. Roof top dinning with good spreads and enjoyed a paranom8c view of Parthenon.

Service was impeccable, rooms were clean and beautiful. We stayed in a temple of Zeus view room. We wished that the balcony had some furniture, but other than that, our stay was truly amazing. The FOOD is so SO incredible!!!!! Breakfast buffet was to die for and we had a dinner as well which was just amazing.
The hotel is also within a 5 minute walk of the Acropolis and Acropolis museum, along with many shops and restaurants. we will definitely return next time we are in Athens. Thank you for a lovely stay!

This hotel is on the BEST location, the staff were very kind and friendly, they serve breakfast on their roof top restaurant that is included, my only minor complaint is that the elevators are compact size, but we stayed here for 4 nights, and I would book it again in a heart beat. I hope to come back someday in the near future.

First place visited off the plane and it was wonderful.
The staff is amazing. One of our group was missing luggage, so we congregated on the rooftop bar to commiserate, and after some beer and ouzo and amazing views of the Acropolis, all our worries were far away.
I can't say enough how wonderful and accommodating the staff is. (I would say 5 stars ++)
