The complex of suites and villas located on the green hill, so that from any point of the hotel offers panoramic views over Mirabello Bay. A large number of climbs and descents will not prevent the rest of the guests, as movement within the territory may be carried out with the help of club car. However, we do not recommend this hotel to guests with reduced mobility. The hotel complex is perfect for a romantic getaway, a honeymoon, a relaxing family vacation and relax in the company of friends.

Beach: own sandy-pebbly beach, 700 m from the hotel complex, 3 line. Natural stone plate with an artificial entrance and a limited number of sun loungers and parasols. Umbrellas, sun beds on the beach and by the pool free of charge. Public sandy-pebble beach with shallow entrance to the sea is 2 km away, in the town of Elounda (umbrellas and sun beds are paid).

Excellent staff, service, views, food and villa. We booked the Royal Villa and we did feel like royalty. Very relaxing and the room and buggy service was excellent. We enjoyed Chef in Villa one evening and this was outstanding.

We stayed here for a week and have nothing but nice things to say. The staff is very welcoming and always at your service. The food is absolutely great, Cretan products with a twist. Nice view on Elounda bay and the surroundings.

Fabulous service. Food absolutely superb! Has a really lovely atmosphere and nothing too much trouble. Suite was very good quality with excellent facilities and highly attenetive room service. Highly recommended!

We stayed for close to a week at this hotel and were a bit disappointed. The positive is that the service - at the reception, in the restaurant, and the cleaners - was a solid-five star. Everyone was so nice and helpful. We have zero complaints on that front. However, there were some important negatives about the hotel that will prevent us from returning. (1) The rooms are very dated. We got a two-bedroom deluxe villa with our own swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sauna. But the unit felt old; we are guessing it was built 30 or so years ago and has not been updated. The designs were old; the finishing and the furnishing were also dated. We didn't feel 'happy' returning to the unit and there was zero 'wow' factor. For the price we paid, this was quite disappointing. (2) The complex is too small. This means that the common areas were small and the facilities were very limited. There's only one small restaurant and the hilly layout makes it less relaxing to move around within the grounds of the hotel. The private beach (a 10-min drive away) is excellent, though. (3) The location of this hotel is on a steep hill. The villas are on tiers and electric buggies help transport the guests. There is no direct access to the beach. (4) Frankly, we had made a mistake booking this hotel, when we meant to book at the Elounda Beach Hotel, which is much better than the Elounda Gulf Villas, for the same price. We could see the Elounda Beach Hotel from our villa and felt envious and dumb for making the booking error. Overall, I think this hotel should be meaningfully cheaper than other five-star hotels in the area, because this hotel is not truly five-star, given how dated the villas are and how limited the facilities are. We were not upset with our stay but were not thrilled, either. For the price we paid, we had expected to be thrilled.

We stayed in the Samos villa for our honeymoon and the views were breathtaking. We had a private pool and massage room. Breakfast was delicious. Maria at the front desk is so sweet and the staff is amazing. We can’t wait to come back one day!

A glorious place to stay. Lovely room with a stunning view across the bay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We arrived late at night and there was a prepared plate of food waiting for us. The food was a delight. Highly recommend this for a relaxing wonderful break.

Just got back from a relaxing week staying at Elounda Golf Villas.
The villa itself was very nice. Spread over 3 floors, the upstairs was the main living area with a small kitchen and lounge with sliding doors to the pool area. From here the views were spectacular, overlooking the bay and the mountains.
Heading one flight downstairs there was a large double bedroom with sea-views and a large en suite. Heading down one more flight of stair, there were two further twin bedrooms. One with en suite and also a large bathroom next door. These bedrooms were made into double beds for our stay and were very large doubles. All rooms were light and spacious. All in all the villa was very good. Clean, bright and gorgeous views. A few things could be updated and could need fixing but nothing that bothered us as we didn’t spend overly much time at the villa.
We had half board at Restaurant Argo and it was a beautiful place to start your day. Loved sitting there every morning looking out over the sea with a cup of tea. Breakfast was fab. Lots of choice. Any eggs you wanted, smoked salmon, sausage, bacon, mushrooms etc. Lots of different fruits, Greek yougurt, pancakes and lots of delicious pastries and cakes. All very tasty too! The food in the restaurant (lunch dinner) was some of the best on the island to be honest. We did go to other restaurants as well but Argo was a tough one to beat!!!
The staff were fantastic. I think probably the friendliest people I have ever met. Very helpful and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. The ladies at reception were full of information and tips on where to go and what to do. A special thank you to Maria, such a lovely, caring lady!! Staff at the restaurant was also second to none. Service was fantastic and again everyone of them so friendly and always quick to help. Sofia, made sure we had a special dinner on our last night. Thank you so much for that! The two George’s (Yorous?)were always on hand at breakfast and at the bar. And “the wine man” (sorry I can’t remember his name) was very knowledgeable and helpful in choosing the right wine for dinner!!
A really great place. Absolutely loved every minute of our week at Elounda golf villas. I would highly recommend it it anyone!
Ps. There was a 30-40 minute walk into the main part of Elounda but we enjoyed the walk there. Taxi back was only 10€. Taxi to Agios Nikolaos was 16€ and we’ll worth a visit and to Plaka was 15€ and also worth a visit.

Excellent stay. Amazing front office staff. Their restaurant recommendations are impeccable. The private pool made our entire trip. The only thing that might be a slight miss is the location. If you don’t have a rental car, you need to taxi everywhere because the hotel is located up a hill and there aren’t really pedestrian walkways with proper lighting (no fault of the hotel of course). As long as you don’t mind the drive / location, this hotel is great! Wish I had time to try their spa services but they were constantly fully booked for the day. Make sure to book in advance!!

Elounda Gulf Villas is by far the best place we’ve ever stayed in all of our visits to Greece and its Islands. 6 of us (3 adults, 2 teenagers and a 9 year old) had the pleasure of staying in one of their pool villas. Spacious, spotlessly clean and a beautiful pool overlooking the ocean below was superb. We took half board and the food choices in the evening were exceptional. It’s very rare to have an incredible meal every evening but that’s exactly what we got. I never had the same food twice and tried everything they had to offer. Modern takes on Greek classics from an exceptional chef and plenty of choice for the youngsters too. Awesome wine list, mostly Greek (which was great to see) with advice given by a wonderful sommelier. Breakfast was also superb with a large selection of hot and cold dishes.
Communal pool was fantastic and not crowded at all, as was the private beach owned by the resort (4K away but a reliable shuttle service provided by the resort for free) where they had good food options and drinks.
The youngest with us enjoyed the kids club a few times and made new friends. And the 2 teenagers had facials at the spa that they throughly enjoyed.
What stands out most though is the staff. They truly are wonderful and made us feel very special part for the whole week. Impeccable service from every one of them and that’s how you get people back time and time again - which we will be.
