D'Andrea Mare Beach Hotel

We recently stayed at D’Andrea Mare Beach Hotel and overall had a very enjoyable experience.

Positives:
The rooms were spacious, modern, and very clean — a real plus for families or couples looking for comfort. The restaurant offered a wide variety of delicious food, with something different every day, and the quality was consistently high. The staff were always friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.

Areas for Improvement:
While the facilities were generally good, we did notice that the pool area could use more frequent cleaning, especially during busy times. The beach area also seemed to lack regular maintenance, which took away from the otherwise beautiful seaside setting. One important issue is the lack of supervision at the pool — unfortunately, some guests ignored the rules, jumping dangerously into the water near small children and rinsing sandy feet directly in the pool. Having a lifeguard or staff member present would definitely help ensure safety and respect for the shared space.

In summary, we had a great holiday and would recommend the hotel, especially for the comfort, food, and hospitality — with just a few improvements, it could be excellent.

We had a really nice time during our stay. The staff were kind and everything went smoothly. Thank you for the great experience!

However, we noticed that the beach was dirty and not very well maintained. The loungers and the access to the beach could use some renovation to improve comfort and overall experience.

A special thanks to Spider, who was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay and also performed an amazing fire show! He truly made our visit even more enjoyable.

Brilliant hotel. Right kn the beach. Lovely and clean everywhere. Has everything you need nice and close. (Kids pool, kids club within sight of main pools, beach).

The food was incredible! Nice touch being greeted to the restaurant without fail. Staff were awesome, nothing was ever too much trouble for anyone - especially Dimitris on the bar! 👌🍹

Great effort from the entertainment team on the daytime entertainment and the kids disco, evening shows.

Rooms were lovely, clean, modern.

Very close to airport, directly on flight path, which our 2year old loved - every single time. Usually stopped by 11.30pm.

Would highly recommend and will definitely return.

Had a lovely 9 nights stay here and the hotel exceeded all my expectations. The check in was super easy, the minute we stepped inside the hotel we had help with our bags and were shown to our hotel room which was a lovely touch. The room itself was quite big and very clean with bathroom being very spacious. Daily housekeeping also meant we came back from a whole day on the beach to clean towels and new bathroom essentials. We also had a lovely view from our hotel room as we booked the sea view room. It was very special waking up every morning and seeing the beautiful sea. The hotel has excellent facilities, we particularly loved the private beach with sun loungers and umbrellas which was on the doorstep from the hotel. The beach was perfect- quiet and clean and sun loungers were nicely separated rather than all being cramped together. You are also able to bring your drinks from the bar and snacks from the snack bar and enjoy them on the beach (Thea from the bar makes the best iced coffee by the way ❤️) There is always plenty of food choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the snack bar served delicious Greek gyros and hot dogs. The entire staff were all extremely friendly and made our stay extremely enjoyable. The hotel is situated about 20 minutes from Rhodes old town so surrounding area is quite quiet but as we’ve had a car this didn’t bother us at all. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone! Can’t fault it in any way!

Had a lovely stay here exceeding my expectations after reading some of the slightly negative reviews. Staff were all very friendly and the hotel had very good facilities. Plenty of sun loungers around the pool area and beach. Food was all good throughout the day and varied. Location was good being close to the airport and old town but not much directly around the hotel if you like to explore.

Absolutely amazing!
Just arrived back from 10 nights stay here. The hotel was kept so clean and tidy the whole time. Staff were really friendly and always smiling. Pools and outdoor areas were also very clean and staff were constantly maintaining the upkeep of the grounds. Fresh towels in the room every single day, fresh beach towels every other day too!

The food was themed, all different throughout the week and was very hot and tasty. Staff were also making sure plates were taken away once finished eating and tables were cleaned as soon as you left ready for the next.

Pool area was great, with a swim up bar and lazy pool to relax in. Also right on the beach front with plenty of free beds (obviously travelled out of season, but staff accommodated accordingly)

Travelled into Rhodes towns via the shuttle service that was available to scan and book direct on your phone. €16 for two people that includes your travel back to hotel. Either that or a €20 taxi both ways. Very easy to book both at reception if needed with taxis arriving within 2 minutes each time to pick us up.

We got upgraded to a large family room on arrival which was a great surprise and they also made us some food as we had arrived late at night.

George the pool bar man was great! Remembered our usual orders and had a great sense of humour, would recommended ‘George’s Special’ cocktail.

Unfortunately due to a health issue I couldn’t stay up any longer than 8pm to comment on the entertainment. However one night I saw vegas style night being performed on my way to our room. So looks like it was good too!

Was impressed by the all natural products provided in the room, smelt amazing!

What a lovely hotel with beautiful beach to watch lovely sunsets. Entertainment staff was lovely Lesley and team always checked in to see we was happy and asking to join in activitys but not pushy if you say no. Food was very nice too. Planes fly over very often but got used to the noise and couldn't hear them in the rooms.
