Elga Hotel

Very nice hotel near to restaurants & bars. Rooms basic, especially shower area. Pool is great & food is delicious. We had a 2 bed room, both with twin beds. Air con was only in the main room @ €10 per day. Kitchen area was big enough for the 2 of us & had plenty of cutlery, with a kettle, toaster, small hob & pots, not enough to make a fried breakfast though. Internet is a bit sketchy, unless you're by the pool. All staff were very friendly. If you have any problems Petros & Stella were very helpful & sorted them right away. Would definitely stay again, just need to make the shower a bit bigger & a shelf for toiletries while in the shower

Nice pool, 24 hour reception and bar. We stayed in what is advertised as a two bedroom apartment. What they have done is to block off the living room and made it into a bedroom by putting a panel where the kitchen counter was, and popping a table into the kitchen area.
This means you have little space to cook but you get two bedrooms. The second bedroom has not wardrobe or anywhere to put clothes but comfortable single beds.
The location is excellent, one road down is the main supermarket, next road is the main area of the town. Really is a short walk into the center of things, while staying in a quiet area.
As we were two friends, wanting separate rooms, and eating out, the place was perfect for us, and I would stay again.

Great location in Kardamena for those looking for a bit more quiet space away from noisy bars and restaurants. At the same time the lively center of Kardamena is just a stone's throw away. From the first glance you can see that the hotel has its age, but it gives the property unique ambient of the late 90s. It is clean and well-maintained, the staff is super friendly and very open, always eager to help. We didn't pay any extras for the AC - it was included in the rate booked directly with the property. The studio for 2 was spacious, cleaned daily, there was also a lot of room around the swimming pool (even though the hotel was full in Aug, the pool was never crowded). The only remark though could be a bit old and used-out wardrobe. In the vincity you will find the variety of bars and restaurants, supermarket, cafe, car and scooter rental, really anything you need during your vacation. I would definitely come back and recommend this hotel to couples, single travellers and families.

Very nice hotel close to the beaches of Kardamena. There is also a beautiful swimming pool. The owner is very kind and helpful.

What an amazing place to stay in Kardamena. It's a traditional self-catering Greek style apartment hotel with lovely big rooms Which are cleaned and maintained regularly by lovely staff. The Elga is situated close to town approximately 5 or 6 minutes from the harbour and seafront where all the bars and restaurants are located. The daytime staff in the pool bar very friendly and accommodating as are the reception staff in the daytime and night time. Throughout our holiday nothing has seemed too much for the team at the Elga to try and help with. The hotel as has aircon which is chargeable and safes which are also chargeable. The pool area is lovely and clean and it's big, plenty of sunbeds for everyone and it has a little kids pool and the main pool. Everyone working at the Elga, including Petros, Leah, Stella, Adam, and the other staff members are fantastic and very friendly and helped to make our holiday a fabulous one. I would 100% stay at the Elga again. However, next time I will approach them direct and not go through the travel agent.

Another wonderful stay with my 5 year old daughter! The staff, rooms & pool are all fantastic & we can’t thank you enough for making our holiday so enjoyable! Thank you once again & see you in 6 weeks 😊😊

Arrived late and met by Adam, very friendly and helpful. The owners Stella & Pedros accompanied by Stella junior and the lovely Leah, what a team!! This is a family run hotel and it shouts every bit family. These lovely people do all they can to make your stay a comfortable and enjoyable one, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are basic but comfortable and they have the essentials. I found the bed to be very comfortable. The reception bar is well stocked and there is always someone there to serve you with a smile. The pool area is big, clean and I never had an issue getting a sun bed. Pedros & Leah can be found here, cooking, serving drinks and managing the pool area. We would return here in a heartbeat, absolutely loved it.

elga is a family run apartment hotel..the rooms are basic but are cleaned every day..the pool area is lovely with a decent priced snack bar...there is a 24hr bar and it is only about 3min walk to the main square..we have stayed here a few times and will definately be returning.

Another yet again fabulous hotel and stay at Elga.cant get enough of the pool.we was caught up in the wild fire and the owners went above and beyond the call of duty in this unfortunate time.cant wait to come back with more family in September.see u soon
