Elga Hotel

Lovely family run Hotel. Great location. Rooms are basic but exceptional clean. If you require air con it's charged at 10 euro per day which is quite expensive. There is a public pool that is run by The Elga which is very clean and has a cafe there. Open from 9.00 to 19.00hrs. Short walk from the beach , shops and cafés. There is a supermarket at the bottom of the road which is handy. Louis cafe is on the corner and they do lovely pastries, coffees, teas. You get a small bottle of water with your purchase free.
Ideal for self catering holiday everything you need in an ideal location. I would recommend.

overall good , facilitates clean beds are comfy enough for the price. Stayed for 2 weeks and cost me €140 for the ac and it’s only in one room, not a fan of the shower curtain as you can’t actually shut it or it will stick to you so you have to soak the bathroom. Staff were somewhat moody but i understand as the owner had just lost her son few weeks before hand, the other thing i had a problem was is with the price of drinks, €3 for a can of coke? that’s absolutely extortionate. The pool is dirty round the sides as the kids that’s have been digging in the side are cleaning their spades in the water. There is a little boy here about 5 who pushed me in the pool as i was walking by, i was not going in as i had severely burnt my shoulders and anything touching it was very painful, as i said ow the boy laughs and splashes me with water. I would recommend if you aren’t always here and are out doing stuff and just coming back to sleep and shower but if you are here to sit relaxingly around the pool i don’t recommend.
