Mercure Rhodes Alexia Hotel & Spa

The hotel has a perfect location — the sea is just a two-minute walk away, with beautiful beaches that were never too crowded. The old town is within walking distance, and there are plenty of great cafés and restaurants nearby. We really enjoyed everything. Most importantly, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was always clean and well-kept. Highly recommended!

Fourth trip back to this hotel and, despite all other visits being great, they have certainly upped their game.

Staff are amazingly friendly, rooms and all public areas are impeccably clean and the whole atmosphere is superb despite building work taking place nearby which is, understandably, out of their control.

Located one street back from the beach (30-50m away) with a plethora of things to do … from fine dining, shopping and bars right through to a couple of strip clubs (though no-one was, in fairness, trying to entice anyone in!).

There are supermarkets & fast food outlets within a minute’s walk along with multiple friendly restaurants.

We received a very warm welcome upon arrival, which immediately set a positive tone for our stay. The hotel has a modern look and feel, with stylish interiors that make it pleasant to spend time in. The swimming pool was also a highlight—clean, refreshing, and a great place to relax.

Our room was beautiful, with a stunning view over the sea. On clear days, we could even see Turkey across the water, which was truly special.

The only downside was that 4 of the 6 nights, we were disturbed by live music coming from a nearby bar. It wasn’t every night, but it did affect our sleep.

Aside from that, the location is excellent. Everything you might need is close by: restaurants, bars, small supermarkets, and plenty of ATMs. Also Rhodes town was 15/20min walking.

A special mention must go to Alexandra. She really made us feel at home during our stay. Almost every time we entered or left the hotel, she took a moment for a friendly chat. You can tell she genuinely enjoys her work, and her warm personality suits her role perfectly.

Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would happily recommend this hotel.

We had a really good stay at the Mercure Hotel in Rhodes. The hotel is quite modern and the facilities such as the pool and the bar are a real plus that make the experience even more enjoyable.

We stayed in a Privilege room with a balcony, which offers a stunning sea view. It was truly a pleasure to enjoy this setting.

One downside is the street of bars located right next to the hotel. A few nights we were disturbed by noise until around 2 a.m. Even with the balcony door fully closed, the sound carried through and kept us awake. Of course, this isn’t the hotel’s fault, but it’s worth keeping in mind if you get a street-facing room.

The elevators are another minor inconvenience. They are quite small and occasionally had issues during our stay. While not a big problem for a short visit or if you are staying on the lower floors, it can feel inconvenient if you are staying longee in a room on the higher floors.

That being said, the location is excellent. The hotel is only about a 15-minute walk to Rhodes Old Town, and there are plenty of great restaurants nearby.

Finally, a special mention for the reception team. The staff were truly friendly, attentive, and always available. A huge thank you to Alexandra, whose helpful advice guided us throughout our stay. It was such a pleasure to rely on her kindness and support. It would be wonderful to see her again on a future visit.

Good, clean hotel. Polite and helpful staff. Beds a little hard, but air conditioner and fridge worked great. Breakfast pretty good, but could use more meat selection. Pool small but functional- would be nice if they shut off street access- many guests come and take a shortcut through the pool area to the lobby, making for unnecessary traffic for pool users

Nice to come back to this nice hotel, The Alexia Mecure in Rhodes. What a nice welcome from Mel, and it's nice to see Angie again. This hotel is spotlessly clean. The rooms are great. Nice sea view. The beds are fantastic, and I wanted to take the pillows home. They are so soft. The breakfast is great and nicely presented the staff are very helpful but this guy who looked like a manager he wore a nice suit but he wore a dirty pair of trainers not good at all he let himself down.so speak to him. I'll be back in April 26 if I can get in there. The hotel is situated at the start of Bar Street, but don't let that put you off.as I've never heard any noise at all. We had a wonderful experience at Mercure Alexia hotel. The Guest Relations manager went above and beyond to find the perfect birthday cake, complete with everything we could have hoped for (fruit platter and a bottle of wine in our room to celebrate ). It was simply so nice and wonderful. The service throughout our stay was impeccable. Reception desk staff was very professional. We truly felt pampered from the beginning to the end. Thank you !

Clean room, very friendly and welcoming staff at the front desk and at the bar. The location is close to a range of cafes, restaurants and small shops, so it's easy to pick up snacks or drinks at any time of the day. Very short walk to the (stony) beaches too, so overall a great location.
