Reviews
The staff were absolutely amazing, friendly and helpful, the area is quiet and safe… right across from the beach where there are gorgeous sunsets and you can see across to Turkey 🇹🇷 Can also get a boat over from Kos town which is about 40minutes walk, but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel or taxis.
The rooms are basic but comfortable and have ample space and all the things you would need to make you stay relaxed and content, comfortable beds, fabulous shower and big balcony, the TV didn’t have many English channels but we wasn’t there to do that.
Food was fresh, delicious and plentiful… be prepared to not have “English Grub” as you are in Greece 🇬🇷 after all!!! Lots of snacks and drinks through the day in between meal times, I have a very fussy 14year old - happy to report she did not starve and always found something!
The pool is freshwater and was quite chilly to initially get in, but once that part is over it’s refreshing and a great way to cool off from the heat, we had lots of fun in here.
The entertainment team were always dancing and great with kids, lots of activities throughout the day (even end of season which is when we went) and also at night.
The staff go above and beyond and I truly can’t wait to return! Was very sad to leave and can’t wait to return one day!! Especially to see the refurb they’re having… Thank you all so much for a memorable and truly fantastic holiday!!
I would say this could be an amazing place, but the food is BEYOND TERRIBLE. If you're coming here, please budget yourself extra money to eat out almost every meal, because it's genuinely dreadful. I found it so funny because you'd see so many people arrive, check in and see them for food a few times before you find out they decided every meal they'd just eat out, even though it's all inclusive.
Most of the staff are nice, although you can really tell they don't want to be there and it's almost sad when you think about it, still doesn't stop them being rude though. That isn't all the staff by any means, just a few but I won't say who as I'm not a snake, but if you've stayed here you know exactly who I mean.
The hotel is kind of far from Kos town, like a 45 mins walk so prepare for a trek every time you need anything.
The rooms and pool area are really nice though, although there are signs everywhere asking people not to reserve sun beds, but the staff don't do anything about people that do, so you can look at the pool, and every bed has a towel on it but no one sat there, and it's like the it the whole day. Unless you're getting up at 5am to reserve a sun bed, don't be thinking you'll get one. I saw a family of 4 take up 12 sunbeds with all their stuff, actually couldn't believe it and the staff are completely okay with it.
Rooms. Even though rooms are not top modern, they have all you need: refurbished bathroom, AC (didnt work properly in the beginning, but they fixed it immediately), coffee set, fresh towels.
Restaurant and bars. The food is always fresh and delicious, varying from day to day. We could not complain about anything, very pleasant experience!
Staff. Always friendly and ready to help. They smile and you feel very welcome, despite they may be very tired.
Beach. Sunbeds are always avaliable, but the beach needs to be cleaned regularly.
Animation. Many different activities during day/evening, very active and friendly team.
Some extraordinary things we have appreciated:
- there are no bracelets for all-inclusive, which is so good for those who get irritated because of them;
- guests can choose their drinks at the restaurant and take them autonomously. Really loved this piece of freedom!🥰
The hotel is highly recommended!
The lady in the minimarket is very nice and helpful aswell.
Rooms could be a little bit bigger and the cleaning could be a little better but i understand the cleaning lady because she looked very stressed. We had a room with a view to the sea wich only a few had.
Taxi or bus to Kos city takes like 10 minutes.
Not much to see outside of the hotel area. Very close to the beach but the beach could be a little bit more taken care of.
Overall a very good stay!
The hotel lobby looked really nice. Our room on the third floor looked the same as the advertised photo. And we had to carry our suitcases up the stairs, no lifts unfortunately. The beds were soft and comfortable. But I do find the pillows on the thinner, firmer side (it would be more comfortable if it's fluffier and softer). The room was cleaned with daily room service. We could also hear the cows and chicken nearby in the morning.
Theres a lovely beach within walking distance (just opposite) from the hotel with free sunbeds. The hotel provides free pool towel also. The beach is perfect if you want somewhere not too crowded, but be careful of the pebbles when you stepp into the sea! We didn't bring wet shoes, so was painful for the first 5 min, but then once you are further enough, it's nice sands underneath.
The staffs here were all so smiley and friendly. The service was 10/10! Special thanks to Popi the receptionist for her help with travelling to Kos town and restaurant recommendation (Mummy's cooking - Eudokia). You can take a bus to town for 2euro or taxis for 10euro. There's free luggage storage after check out at 12. We were welcomed to stay in the resort and use the facilities after check out, because our airport transfer via TUI was in the evening.
There are numerous choice to drink from (alcoholic e.g. cocktails, beer, wine, spirit / non alcoholic drinks). However the cocktails were not very good. Wine tasted cheap. I generally sticked to gin n tonic / whiskey n coke. There were ice cream available in the pool bar too. Some staffs (Chris and Mirela) were very generous with the spirit they poured in my mixers, which I loved!
The world buffet was also better than I expected for all inclusive. Everyday was different. There was a good variety of salad, fruits, meat( veal, chicken, pork, rabbit, lamb) and seafood ( fish and calamari). Good dessert selections also. I did notice some flies flew into the restaurant and resting on certain meat dishes - this should be an area of improvement for hygiene. It would also be great for the hotel to add a soft serve ice cream machine in the restaurant.
The night entertainer was repetitive and not as scheduled. I wish there were more performances like dances, musicals... rather than having mini disco every night for the kids or quiz/bingo/karaoke. Adults also need a disco too!
The service is ok, 4.5 star tasty, fresh food, several options to choose from.
Cleaning, ok, 3.5 star towels and linen changed daily, more attention to those with phobias of spiders hanging on the walls, ants and crickets racing through the rooms without restrictions.
The beach, ok, 2.5 star, should be cleaned, but for sand lovers like us, pass the stones at the entrance and go a little further out, the sand is wonderful. An aspect that you are not told when you make a reservation, the sunbeds are paid for, 3 euros per person.
The bar, the hotel pool and the one for children are ok 4 star
Positives.Staff do their utter best and are polite and pleasent
negatives
Cleaners have not been shown how clean, beds are made and thats it.they do not wipe anything down or replenish toilet rolls 1 out of 10 ( bed was made)
15 plus people queing for pool bar from second it opens untill about 5 when they go to shower only 1 person on regardless on of amount of customers, which means there is no time to collect glasses or wipe tables.so everywhere is dirty and sticky.
pool bar 1 out of 10 cause he does his best.
Food is absolutely dreadfull unless you like carrots or sprouts or peas for breakfast (Yes really)toaster hasnt worked since we got here they said it broke and are waiting for it to be mended ! (why not get another one) the test of the food is luke warm but i have lived on pizza because i wait fot it to come out it really is bad.we go away at least 3 to 4 times a year and will NEVER recommend this hotel.I cannot find on member of management but will keep trying (one day to go) as previously mentioned I honestly cannot find one good thing to say about it(except friendliness of staff) oh and by the way if you want to use the beach it is 3 wuros per day per person which has to be paid in cash as doestge tourist tax, surely tgat must tell you sonething.if i have any luck finding a manager i will up date
