Best hotel for your summer vacation. Very nice rooms, stylish design of the whole hotel. Beautiful beach and a ton of options for food. This was a very enjoyable holiday thanks to the brilliant team in the hotel

The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, offering all the comforts we needed as a family. The facilities were top-notch, and the kids loved the pools and the beach

The proximity of the beach to the hotel was very convenient, allowing us to easily move between the pool and the sea. It was an ideal spot for both swimming and lounging

Speaking of the beach—it was simply stunning! The soft sand and crystal-clear water made it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sunshine

The location is convenient, directly on the beach, and short transfer from airport, and public bus to the capital from the hotel

The staff and customer service helped us with our requests. Themed restaurants were delicious, and eating your breakfast by the sea is a vacation within a vacation. Great shows and entertainment

I love the privacy at the beach, comfortable sunbeds, amazing service at all the restaurants and bars, friendly and caring personnel, spacious and comfortable suits, beautiful view from our terrace

We had a fantastic stay at Knossos Beach! The food was very good. The Service did a great Job, staying very attentive, kind and helpful all the time

You can call for service using an app on your phone, which is very convenient and saves time. I would like to separately note the hotel staff: each employee is friendly and creates a feeling that you are welcome here

I can’t express how fantastic this location is. Currently still at the resort and sadly have to leave tomorrow! The good - The app that you receive sign onto it you can do so much with it within the resort

Only (very small) disclaimer was the Sounds of the Planes due to the proximity of the Airport. We highly recommend to book a room with a Cabana - it's absolutely worth every Cent!

I highly recommend Shotels Sunset Beach Hotel! The hotel is well maintained and modern. The rooms are large and clean. The food is varied and fresh every day

The beach next to the hotel is clean (there are enough sun loungers and umbrellas). The great advantage of the hotel is its location (a few minutes by bus to Heraklion)

There is a cove that is good for snorkelling about 3 minutes walk from the hotel where you can see many types of fish amongst the rocks. Heraklion is well worth a visit, only 20 minutes by bus

Small family-run hotel with perfect location right on the beach. Full sun all day even if north-facing. Nice sunsets. Nice breeze from the sea. Friendly staff. Clean rooms with AC.

I didn't realise how many stray cats there are in Crete and if you are an animal lover it does pull at your heart strings a bit, but the locals do put food out for them

It's quite windy at the moment so we found the sea isn't flat enough for paddleboarding unless you like the waves. The staff are lovely and friendly

bit disappointed with the beach as it was a pebble beach. but didn’t stop us sunbathing everyday by the beach. Andrea the sunbed man very friendly and funny man. cleaners great always kept the rooms nice and clean

The food here is of a high standard and there is so much choice. There is always fresh fruit and chilled water by the bar and snacks throughout the day which I feel is a nice little extra

And would like to praise Chef Ilias. The food was delicious, with fresh and appetizing dishes offered every day. We also loved how Chef personally went out to greet the guests, creating such a welcoming atmosphere

At meal times you are literally spoilt for choice. We came here for the Greek food and we haven't been disappointed. The entertainment here is such an experience. I have never seen so many happy faces in one room

Very nice hotel in a beautiful location that gives views of sunsets over the water. A good amount of staff around the property, pool, and beach. Every kid walks away not wanting to leave Ms

The views are gorgeous, the entire complex is out of this world and having two beaches plus a huge pool on which you feel it is never too busy is amazing

Easily the best hotel/resort we have ever stayed at. We had our wedding at Amirandes and also stayed for a few nights. The whole wedding planning process was seamless thanks to their professional staff

Amirandes has an outstanding architecture and nice sea access. Katharina from reception did an outstanding job in sorting a view things out for us, super fast, nice and always customer first

This is a decent hotel and we very much enjoyed our stay here. The 50 metre rectangular pool is a real highlight. Unlike many hotels, this is a proper pool suitable for lap swimming

Great rooms, very friendly staff and so close to the sea. Taverna has lovely homemade food for evening meals. Was so lovely to sit and hear the waves lapping against the sea wall. Would highly recommend to anyone

Quiet town, just what we wanted, but great public bus service to more lively Stalida and Malia too

It was a little out of the way if you have walking issues as the beach and bars restaurants etc are 1km away. The WiFi is excellent and the Aircon is very good

I strongly recommend participating in the Greek night event, which is organized by the owner himself. We had a great time and we came back home well-rested

The Erato Hotel is a small hotel near the beach and the sea with only 31 rooms, an outdoor pool and a table tennis table. The atmosphere between the guests and the staff is very familiar and very pleasant

You can rent tours and a rental car (which is highly recommended in Crete to see as much as possible) of course in one of the many tourist agencies, but we found it very convenient that at our request someone came to the hotel and brought us a car

A nice an cozy hotel near the beach. Very peace with helpful staff. Just we were attacked by mosquitoes. Overall, it was nice to be there.

Near to the small nice beach, breakfast is good. But be ready to the attack of hungry mosquitos at night. May be low pressure of the water on the third floor must to be managed. But at all, it is very peaceful place

Our rooms were located in the adjacent building Almare Beach, 2 minutes walk away from the Main facility. Pretty decent rooms, very tidy and clean, air conditioning is available, too

The beach is 10 meters away from the hotel and there is also a swimming pool with a bar where you can spend lazy afternoons sipping cocktails. To sum it up, we really got very good value for the money

We are currently spending our 1-week holiday here (we booked Sunset Beach Hotel, but this hotel belongs to the SHotels group like Almare Beach Hotel)

The safe inside the room was in a closet and not build in, so if someone broke in, they could just take it and run off with it because it wasn't particularly heavy. Other than that, we had a lovely time

The food was OK, we definitely never had the feeling we were starving, also the staff was really nice. The only thing I would list as a negative is the room safe situation

Staff is very friendly and accomodating; the service is pretty good. Especially the guy named Onisimos, who knows your wish before you even express it

The beaches nearby and along most of the North shore of the island are usually close to the main road and in the landing path for the airport and often packed full with droves of sun seeking beer swilling rabble so I would advise traveling to the south of the island by car if you wish to find peace and quiet

The apartment was beautiful, clean with plenty of room, storage and beautiful views from roof top veranda. The location was very close to the sea front and many tavernas and beach front cafes and bars

The service at Kri Kri was second to none. George and Jenny who run it are superb hosts. They attend to every need and more. The pool was lovely and the evenings at the bar were great

There are bars, restaurants and a carrefour supermarket within walking distance in Gournes and is only around a fifteen minute drive from Heraklion Airport

Great Central location on Crete and very reasonably priced. It is also nice and quiet and set far enough away from the main tourist traps

Me and my friends came with 9 people and it was no problem to put up an extra bed! The villa and the view were magnificent. You had a 270 degrees lookout on the sea

The maid even helped me Iron some clothing, she was the sweetest lady ever! The pool is also awesome! It’s a shared pool. Which was even more fun we met some great people and had a couple great days with them

And looking at the sunset out of the jacuzzi was the most beautiful thing ever. The villa was also perfect! It was well equipped with nice bathrooms, good bedrooms a beautiful kitchen and an awesome balcony

We had to come from chania and he organized the best and cheapest airport transfer ever. If you want to go to chersonissos you can ask Manolis for a taxi and he will give you a number to call

Even though we were loud sometimes manolis came to warn us first before taking action. We are really thankful for having such a great and helpful host

Manolis is amazing, he will be there for you for anything. The villa equipped with everything you need. Highly recommended! We’ll be back for sure.
