Compact, fully refurbished hotel. Animation no. Good location in the resort town of Malia, a 10-minute walk from the city center, where are concentrated shops, restaurants, bars and night clubs. Recommend for families and budget travelers youth who value the proximity of the resort night life.

Location: 32 km from international airport of Heraklion, 10 km from g. Hersonissos, in the resort town of Malia. A bus stop is 200 metres away.

Consists of four two-storey buildings.

Beach: Public, sandy beach 750 m from the hotel, 3 line. Umbrellas, sunbeds, mattresses – for a fee. Between the hotel and the beach is a road and promenade. The entrance to the sea: sandy (sloped). Toilet, shower on the beach.

Breakfast: something different every day, although similar. Choice of tea, coffee, juice and water. Very nice lady serving the kitchen.
Location: close to the center of town, about 20 minutes walk to the beach, the same amount to the mountains. Lots of grocery and souvenir stores, restaurants and bars.
Service: very nice, helpful, doing a great job. Bravo!
Additional perks: neat little pool, sun loungers with umbrellas, shower and toilet by the pool, hotel lobby bar (chips, drinks), helpful hotel owner.
Minuses: hard to stand in a room without air conditioning (9€/day).

Nice hotel, friendly owner... Great breakfast. Parking just In front of the hotel in public parking. Rooms clean, cleaned out every day. The pool is just perfect for an after beach relax or upon a windy day. Malia old town is a must and it is just 5min walking.

I’ve been to some hotels but this hotel is the absolute best! 100% recommend going all inclusive as food is amazing and the bar is full of different choices to drink (Try raki, vodka and lemonade from there). Everyone who works there are all professional that are very respectful with great personality’s and easy to get on with. This hotel is ideal for everyone as the location is on the street with shops, restaurants and clubs so there’s always entertainment for everyone and anyone. The rooms are very hygienic that are continuously cleaned by the cleaners who are all very kind people and you are accompanied with your own private balcony that has a seating area and a lot more out door space. Thanks to everyone at Creta Verano for making my time in Malia the best experience I have had. I would 100% be returning back here for longer!

We spent a week on Crete and the hotel was a good choice, close to all important amenities and entertainment hubs, but far enough to not be bothered by the noise.
The food was always fresh and quite varied, even for a vegetarian. Maria was adorable and always looked after each guest. The bar staff was always there to assist.
The pool and the room were clean, sheets and towels changed.
Nino was the cutest gardian a place can have 😁
There's a bit of a walk to the beach, but we always enjoyed it. Get a scooter from Sky and visit the small villages around Malia, or rent a bike from TheHub and trail the mountains.
The only downside is that you need to pay extra for the air con, if you want it, but this is usual practice in nost Greek accomodations.

I was there with my girlfriend in September 2016 for a week. Our room was clean and pleasant. Cleaned there daily. Pool clean, next to the shower. A lot of space on the sun loungers. The bar was great, a lot of alcohol, attentive bartender :) Food 9/10, everyone will find something for themselves, a large selection of daily dessert, usually cake to ice cream and fruit. Well located. The beach is about a 15 minute walk through the main street Beach Road, a lot of shops, bars and clubs (friday night in a zig zap club with house music was awesome) unfortunately in September, some have already closed. Cool place to go with the girl. I would recommend 5/5.

It's great, most of the comments say it's full with English people, but it's not. It's family friendly and the food is not super but just good. The workers are realy friendly and the bartender is amazing. I can totally recommend this place!!!
