amazing hotel. everything is impeccably clean, beautifully decorated and fragrant. the staff is cordial, kind, smiling, everyone does their job perfectly. the maids clean the room every day and you get new clean towels for the room and the beach. there are 3 swimming pools in the hotel. the water in them is clean and warm, the sunbeds are new. the beach is 80m away the hotel restaurant is excellent, the food is fresh, tasty and varied. a large selection of fruits, salads, cheeses, cured meat products, pastries, fish, seafood, meat, cakes and pastries. they constantly bring out new food, so it doesn't happen that something is missing, even if you come 10 minutes before the end I will definitely come back and recommend to everyone

Great hotel on a good location in Rethymnon. Several minutes to the beach and 10-15 min walk to the city center. The hotel is clean, new, child friendly with very kind personnel. I was a guest in September and the season was still on.
Special thanks to receptionist Albina, who made my stay with her advice on where to go, what to see and how to experience Crete like a local. She was very knowledgeable, pleasant and professional. It's people like her that make this island so exceptional.

I've just returned home from a 4 night solo stay at Theartemis Palace. This was my first solo holiday in Greece, and my first trip to Crete.
I had the most wonderful time at Theartemis.
I received a room upgrade, and was so happy with my room, overlooking the beautiful pool, which is especially beautiful at night with the twinkling lights. The bed was so comfy, the room cleaned everyday, and I loved my wall seat out on the balcony! I received late at night, received a complimentary lemon drink on arrival, food saved for me from dinner, and also complimentary snacks in my room.
The food and drinks were amazing, the pool was lovely to sit by and swim in, as well as the other two pools situated in the annexe!
I felt safe the whole time, as a solo female traveller, and the staff were so kind and helpful, especially Nancy, who made the effort to talk to me and ask how I was on different occasions!
The location was brilliant, just a quick walk down to the beach, and there is a City Bus Tour stop just down the road, which I also recommend!
I really would recommend this hotel, what a wonderful holiday and experience I had, and already wishing I could return!

I recently stayed at the Theartemis Palace, my daughter and I had a wonderful time. The hotel is excellent, has every amenity, you could want , including a beautiful Spa. The food and the selection was of the highest quality and the restaurant was very clean and well laid out with enough space between the tables. The rooms were serviced everyday to an immaculate standard. All the staff were amazing and so helpful. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. Certainly a 10/10 and should be a 5*.
A special note to one of the receptionist 'Albina' who helped when I cut my arm on the way back to the hotel. She was calm,, kind and efficient and within minutes of arriving at the reception had organised a pharmacy to give me a tetanus injection, and a taxi to take me there, wait and bring me back to the hotel. What superb service!

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 5 nights in October.
Very good location, close to the beach and plenty of restaurants and shops. A little walk to the old town / port.
Free parking in the street in front and around the hotel, although difficult to find a space in the evening. (They do offer a private car park for 8€ a night).
The Superior room we had was a good size, with a very big bed. Everything in the room is nice quality and clean. We were road side with a view on the sea. The windows could be better insulated as the noise from the traffic could be heard, but not horrendous.
All the staff were very nice but discreet.
The breakfast buffet has a very good selection of pretty much everything that you would want or expect.
We also had the half board option, so we ate at the hotel restaurant "Daphne" every night (same area as the breakfast). It’s a buffet style restaurant. Every night there was something new, and the food really was quite tasty and of a fair quality.
In all, a great option for staying in Rethymno 👍

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Theartemis Palace Hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm welcome and the attention to detail. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Very good hotel, nice and clean pool, the food was very good and diversified(chicken, lamb, veal, pork, sea food, salads, sweets…).
We stayed one week in July 2024, the location is ok 15min from city center, but 5min to the nice beaches. There are supermarkets near by.

Visited in mid April staying for one week on a B&B basis. Hotel was only around 65% of its capacity at this time.
Very smart hotel which appears to have been recently renovated to a high standard. Lobby and poolside areas are very nice and with a good pool bar. We were upgraded to a Superior room which was also very nice and had a small balcony.
The buffet breakfast was more than adequate with good service from the staff.
The hotel was ideally located for us being a 15-20 minute walk to the Old Town area.
Quite a bit of building work ongoing at the time of our visit as there appears to be all over the resort

It was my first time visiting Greece, and I chose to stay at Theartemis Palace, which I don’t regret at all, it was a beautiful hotel, from the moment I checked in I was offered a refreshment lemonade drink, and then I was kindly accommodated by the reception team.
The rooms were very organised and have everything you need, from the fridge to the towel and shower gel. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable as well, which was a bonus for me. The rooms get cleaned daily, and bed sheets get changed daily. Beach towels are offered too, which was a bonus.
Furthermore, the hotel has many facilities to offer, from the outside pool, to the indoor pools which was ideal for a quieter place.They also offer entertainment shows at night, which is nice if you want to stay in. Either way the town centre is close if you want to go out.
The breakfast and dinner offered at the hotel is good, they are well cooked and tasty and there is a plenty of selection to pick from. I loved the desserts and the pastry with cheese inside. The people working in the restaurant always have a smile on their face, and they always check if you need anything.

Me and my partner stayed here for a week in June. We were presently surprised with how lovely the hotel was as a whole and overall our experience was great. There is always beds at the pool and there is no fighting over reserved beds. We had breakfast and dinner included, the food is average but there is a good range. However, the food at the pool bar is of very high standard. The staff go above and beyond to ensure you enjoy your stay and are happy to help where possible. The location is great, 3 minute walk from the beach and loads of nice shops and restaurants, the Old Town is around a 20 minute walk but you won’t be disappointed with how beautiful it is. Overall, the hotel staff are brilliant, the pool is big and there are activities such as water aerobics. There is always music by the pool and in the evenings there is entertainment most nights. The drinks are reasonably priced and there is a lovely atmosphere in the daytime and at night. We can both agree we had the best time and would definitely stay here again.
