Apart from that, everything was great: location (next to Rethymno but without the noise or perturbation of a city and with an entire beach for us), the food (very good and with variety) and the staff (special mention to Giorgios from the Beach Bar and all the Grecoland staff)

Rooms were really nice with welcome gifts even for kids too. The service was amazing, staff friendly and helpful. Location is a bit far from town and airport. The experience here was wonderful and very inclusive

We found that the hotel manages to be very kind friendly but without compromising the quality and calmness that you look for a hotel during holidays. First time with Grecotel and not disappointed at all

The hotel itself was just as impressive—clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Everything we needed was taken care of, and the atmosphere throughout our stay was peaceful and relaxing

I had a truly wonderful stay at the Greto Palace Hotel! From the moment we arrived—quite late in the evening—we were warmly welcomed by Nasia, whose hospitality made all the difference

We raised this with Guest Relations, and to her credit, she followed up later in the evening. But the only option offered was to stay in the suite for an additional €144 per night — which we understandably declined

We personally didn’t use the pool areas but they are small and congested as other users have stated. What Worked Well: • Rooms were clean (though a bit dated). • Staff were generally friendly and helpful

• Beach access is excellent, and loungers are free (except the first few rows, which are €15/day). • Mini bar was restocked periodically. • Toilets accept paper — which isn’t always the case in Greece

The room we eventually ended up in for the week was fine, it faced another building which didn’t bother us. The room was big enough and clean to a point. The bathroom was dated and well worn

Not unclean but as clean as could be. The shower water pressure is really good and it can be made hot; not that you’ll want that after a day in the cretan heat

While the room was lovely, we were annoyed — we didn’t want to unpack and repack just to check out and wait around for another room the next day

It was about a 5-minute taxi ride from the bus station, we could use the beach in front, and our room was spacious and open, so we were able to relax

We had a fantastic family Reunion here. The staff are super accommodating. The spa was a great treat, the pool fun to hang out and the food was delicious and varied.

A fantastic location with an expansive patio/pool complex, good restaurant/bar, and a friendly, knowledgeable staff that speak English.

Really nice hotel with friendly staff. Plenty of options to eat out nearby and within walking distance to the town centre.

There was a pool inside the hotel, so we went for a swim to relax instead of getting a massage

2) the gym is very very small and equipement is incorrectly set up and out of order 3) the air conditioning was very finicky - had to press random setting combinations to get it working!

The rooms were clean and well-maintained, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxing and pleasant. I especially appreciated the helpfulness of the reception team, who were always ready to assist with a smile

Rooms are a little tired and dated but are in the process of being updated, very clean and comfy beds! The Staff is what makes this Hotel wonderful, from the bar staff to Lucas and Agata who tried their best to rope everyone in to the entertainment, be it darts, stretches around the pool or karaoke! We had a wonderful stay at Minos Hotel in Crete! From the moment we arrived, we was warmly welcomed by the friendly and professional staff

The staff was kind and helpful, they speak English well. The hotel is about 200 meters from the sea so you can walk there with slippers on, no shoe needed. The 7 night we spent there was felt like a few hours

The hospitality throughout my stay was exceptional – everyone went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at home. The service was truly outstanding, with attention to every detail

We were totally amazed by this hotel! Irini, Judy, Vicky and the rest are just so helpful and answered all of our questions. We have visited this hotel seven times and it bacame even more better regarding the facilities

Everything is spotless, and having two pools is a big plus (though it’s a pity that loungers are often “reserved” with towels and left unused). The food is excellent with a wide selection for both breakfast and dinner

The only downside was the number of mosquitoes – not the hotel’s fault, but keep doors and windows closed and ask reception for a mosquito device. Overall, a wonderful stay and highly recommended!

After that one of her colleague/the staff members took our luggage and showed us the way to our room, and I wish I knew his name but unfortunately I don’t know it and really hope someone does

There are bikes available for rent at the front (not owned by the hotel), but activation can take a while, especially if your phone number isn’t accepted

The bathroom is open-style, which might not suit everyone – as two friends traveling together, it wasn’t always convenient

I did not stay at this hotel, just been to their beach and they got the most friendly and serviceminded staff at the beach. If possible, I would give 10 stars for their effort to make every guest feel good at the beach

Everything is dedicated to the guests. We never met such a gently and polite people which are oriented to the guests service. This is place with excellent beach, shop inside the property with a prices as in the city

Special big Thank to Georgios. We were met with a big smile every day, and they helped us with sunbeds, drinks and free water to make sure we did not dehydrate in the sun. I have no problems recommanding this place

It was our third stay in the hotel and we really enjoyed. A special thanks to the kind Sophia serving our cappuccino every evening. The massages in the hotel spa are also very good and the spa ladies are very nice

We saw here dancing and would love to see a Salsa Show in the evening entertainment of our hotel (maybe it's possible next year ?♡) We hope Nora will be here next year again!!!

The location within the city with all the money; clean beach - those two are the hotel's greatest advantage

the hotel is very close to the old town and a beautiful beach is just in front. Breakfast was delicious and lots of variety. We got a nice sailing trip by the hotel with a snack and champagne and we enjoyed so much

The gym in the hotel is compact but still offers a chance for a decent workout with Technogym eguipment. There is also a sauna available in the gym/spa department downstairs

A tidy and pleasant beachfront hotel close to the old town. Very nice breakfast with a good variety of high quality local produce available. The hotel staff is genuinely friendly and always eager to help

Also the sea in the beach is crystal clear, which is almost unbelievable! Provided with the hotelroom you have free access to beach towels, sunbeds, shower and changing rooms just in front of the hotel

First time visit to Rethymno and The Kriti Hotel. The hotel location to the beach can not be faulted with beach free sun lounges available to residents. Restaurants and bars are also nearby

I rested with my sister, we really liked everything, I recommend it, the hotel is beautiful, the staff is very friendly and nice, the breakfasts were wonderful, I also recommend a massage, you will not regret it if you choose this hotel « Melrose Rethymno by Mage Hotels”

My spouse had her birthday while we were staying and they brought a small cake with a candle for her in the breakfast. The lady serving coffee is an absolute gem, always smiling and ready to help

There was a bottle of cold white wine and a bottle of water waiting for me in the fridge in my room - a lovely surprise. I would definitely stay in this hotel again

The location is very convinient, roughly 1km from the old town and only a block away from the beach. Hotel is extremely well-maintained and clean

We had a wonderful week at this hotel. Room was good with a lovely sea view. In particular Michalis who greeted us when we arrived was very helpful and welcoming. Great location with the beach just across the road

I highly recommend this hotel as it offers privacy, hospitality at the highest place and also the location of the hotel is very close to the central square of Rethymnon

I love this hotel sooo much. Definitely rent a car for the trip, especially in the off season. And definitely stay at this hotel, no notes!

But I strongly suggest booking a room with a pool view, where you can enjoy an evening or two on the balcony. We had different menus every day and the choice was just perfect, not too much and not too little

Er is één mevrouw bij de receptie die zelfs Nederlands spreekt. Our room (nummer 217, 😊) is well sized with private balcony, airco and jacuzzi. It is all kept clean daily, including making the beds door twee lieve dames

If you need anything special there is a small shop on the territory of the hotel or you can go into the town 10 mins, where there are plenty of restaurants and shops, including Lidl

People are usually staying near pool, so almost all sunbeds are taken (and yes, some guests are still having the habit of leaving a towel on a sunbed but showing up 3 hours later)

The pool is very clean and nice, the only downside is that it is still accepted that antisocial people reserve beds with their towels. Those towels should be thrown in the pool

I stayed in this hotel for a week mid-August and it was one of the best vacations I’ve ever had! Obviously, the rooms have everything you need and are very clean and modern

The hotel could use a bit of renovation, but its location—and above all, the kind and attentive staff—more than make up for any shortcomings

This hotel is good enough for what you pay.It is in the centre of the city.Staff is smily and very helpful,nice roof bar,and good coffee.I recommend it for 3-4 nights so you can walk the city and be near to your hotel.

We have just returned from 2 lovely weeks at the summer dream hotel in Rethymno, after initially been given a room which was a little noisy Nitsa moved us without any hassle, I must say there was nothing wrong with the first room, I’m sure many would enjoy the balcony overlooking a buzzing street but we like quiet, the rooms are clean modern and the hotel and staff couldn’t be more friendly, the room...

First time at Kyma Beach Hotel ,stayed at Kriti Beach on 2 previous occasions. Chrysa and all of the staff that we came into contact with were all friendly ,very helpful and great fun and made us feel incredibly welcome

The buses can't stop in front of the hotel but it leaves you at a distance of about 5 minutes from the hotel The hotel is well positioned in front of the beach and the promenade If I come back, I will definitely stay here again!

I was in Rethymno for the second time. The first time I stayed at Kriti Beach, Kyma's sister hotel. It is a hotel close to the old center, opposite the marina with a special view of the sea from the rooms

The beach is a short walk away and you can use the facilities at their sister hotel, which is immediately opposite the beach. There are plenty of restaurants brach side and near the old town

Food is good ,try the Navy Blue Restaurant ,had couple very nice tasty meals in there !! Room was clean and comfortable ,with a really good shower. Nice and near to the Old town & Harbour

The spa services was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and professional. We had a pleasure to meet Evdokia (Spa Manager), Poppi and Konstantinos (Therapists) who provided an exceptional service

We had a Family Massage it was very relaxing recommended by Edvokia who is the Spa Manager. She was very helpful and friendly. The Therapist Konstantina is very professionell and I enjoyed my Massage and my facial a lot

Evdokia was lovely and friendly and spoke about the different types of treatments which were on offer - which were lots!! My therapist , Konstantinos was professional and made me feel very relaxed

Sophia from reception was so lovely and helpful! The airline lost our luggage on the mainland, and she kindly offered to handle everything for us, calling the airline and organising for our luggage to be flown to us and we had our clothes by that night

The chef specifically made food for my fiance and I, as she was feeling lethargic and could not eat much. The waiters were all super respectful and reassured us if we needed anything to not hesitate to let them know

The maids come twice a day to clean and change towels and bedding. During our stay, my fiance who is pregnant, and I got sick. The staff automatically ran to help us with anything we needed

The evening patio dining and bar overlooked the ocean and although the menu was not as expansive, there were quite a lot of beverage options. The room we had was one of the suites, and met all of our needs

The food and drink was good, especially the included breakfast. We loved the location between Chania and Heraklion for sightseeing. The town of Rethymno was charming with good food and shopping

The breakfasts in particular were amazing, with a wide range of options and local food to try too, changing throughout the week so we really looked forward to what would be new each day

The housekeeping staff kept us well supplied with all amenities. The spa was wonderful as well. I enjoyed my 20% discount on my massage which was very enjoyable

Great location! Old town area charm. Walking distance to pretty much everything. Clean and more than functional, great bargain. Breakfast was better than the more “well known chains” and fresh every morning

The swimming is quite small but if the hotel isn’t too busy you can have it for yourself as a private swimming pool which is super nice. The staff is very welcoming and professional

There are too many gems in Greece though I definitely recommend this hotel all because of Creta's most valuable gem Vaco & Giorgia. I hope to see you again soooooon
