everything in the city is ad walking distence form the hotel. they also help you to find the good restaurands in town and some nice activeties to do (if you want). this place helped us to create a unforgettable holiday

It’s about a 15-minute walk to the city center. The city beaches on the eastern side of Rethymno are about a half-hour walk away, so in that case, it's more convenient to take the bus

After unpleasant start (we got a room that was dark and had mold smell), we were given a very nice room on 7th floor. Breakfast was good, vasrious dishes avaiable

The staff and their manager, Mr. The hotel has its own pool with sunbeds and umbrellas, as well as a pool bar. The breakfast offers a good selection and the kitchen is trying to fulfill special wishes as well

The hotel pleasantly surprised us. Beautiful and well-maintained rooms, cleanliness. Rooms up to the 4th floor are closer to the pool, while rooms from the 5th floor and above have a better view of the sea

What a gem this hotel is!! Perfect location (between the old town and Rethymno beach - a short walk to either); lovely rooms, all with balconies; a delicious, generous breakfast; amazing views from the roof top pool area; beautiful garden courtyard (perfect for reading a books); and best of all, the loveliest staff one could imagine

We had a great stay for 9 nights at the hotel. It's beautifully decorated with a relaxing and cozy courtyard. The staff is so welcoming, nice and helpful. They always met us with a smile and made us feel so comfortable

The reception is open 24/7 and they were so helpful with everything from booking tours, parking in the local area to checking out at latest possible, as we had a late flight home

The location is amazingly close to the beach and shopping, restaurants, sightseeing, etc. The rooms decor is a little aged, but besides that are clean, big and comfortable

They all seem to be provided with a big balcony, which we loved! and the rooftop pool and bar is a perfect alternative when you have had enough of swimming at the beach (or paying for the sunchairs every day 🤭)

The rooftop pool we didn't use very much, but it's a perfect place to relax if you don't feel like going to the beach. It offers a beautiful view and also has a bar with lots of tables where you can enjoy a cold drink

A boutique hotel in a renovated Venetian building. It looks like we're living in history. Love the exposed beams on the roofs. The host is warm and welcoming

The place could be better insulated to sound, but with a historical building, I am sure there are limitations. There are no elevators, so not ideal for people with mobility issues

The hotel was well situated, close to the harbour and shops and cafes. One night we were woken with noise from the nearby nightclub but it didn’t trouble us much

This was a lovely old hotel but could have been a bit cleaner. Our room was also cold but we turned up the heating and got it sorted

As a couple we have stayed at the Di Corina over a number of years. This old Venitian Hotel is ideally placed for the sites of Rethymnon, including the fortress and lively night life

There is nothing bad about this place. Centrally located in the old town, an abundance of restaurants and shops at your fingertips. Walking distance to harbour and beach

The morning receptionist (sorry forgot your name) To the fabulous Effi who served at breakfast and served food and drinks to our sun beds at the pool with a smile and a chat Every great thing mentioned in reviews was correct and I include the fact the poolside food is fab,plenty and not overpriced

Fantastic hotel in a great location,all the staff were terrific. My only criticism would be the bathroom in my room,poorly fitted shower head,and when you had a shower then water came back up through the drain in floor

Though, the problem was quickly solved the next day with a kind help of a wonderful lady - Chrisoula, who literally saved our stay and made it so much more satisfying. The hotel itself is a very cozy place

We enjoyed our few nights here. Ina kept our room beautifully and everyone at the desk was friendly and helpful. Special recognition to our evening host, Joanna. She even recognized us as we came and went

(We took a taxi) Not one fault could I find in the hotel But lots that exceed my expectations of a 3 star. Including the towels provided at the pool. Waitress service with drinks/ food too

The location within the city with all the money; clean beach - those two are the hotel's greatest advantage

the hotel is very close to the old town and a beautiful beach is just in front. Breakfast was delicious and lots of variety. We got a nice sailing trip by the hotel with a snack and champagne and we enjoyed so much

Also the sea in the beach is crystal clear, which is almost unbelievable! Provided with the hotelroom you have free access to beach towels, sunbeds, shower and changing rooms just in front of the hotel

First time visit to Rethymno and The Kriti Hotel. The hotel location to the beach can not be faulted with beach free sun lounges available to residents. Restaurants and bars are also nearby

No words could describe this wonderful building with is historic charm. Central to restaurants and tour operators. Originally her childhood family home, Helen now manages the property and is a delight to talk to

Lovely hotel in the historic centre of town. The room was historic and was quiet at night. Hotel staff were helpful in providing a few parking options and we were lucky to get a spot quite nearby.

I have additional info for those who are inexperienced or ignorant travellers - The Venitian buildings were not built with pools or underground parking. Live with it and stop whining. You aren't back home with your mommy

We slept here for 2 days as a couple and I thinks it’s a great location in this beautiful city. Also, the bar is directly located in the hotel and we had a funny night with flavoured Raki & Richard who works on the bar

I have been traveling for several weeks and was hoping to rejuvenate here; I was able to do so and leave feeling fully refreshed and ready for new adventures. Thank you again for such a lovely stay!

The hotel is only a stone throw away from old town and a 10 min walk to the beach. Rethymnon was a mixture of lovely restaurants and a lovely old town, but nightlife there as well for those who want it

But all in all despite the interesting foods at times, there was always something to eat we enjoyed. Had an amazing time, would reccomend to anyone :)

2 minor negatives - room’s were small on the restaurant side, which I think anyone booking through jet 2 were given, secondly the breakfast was not ideal for British people but there were not a lot of brits in Rethymno (not a bad thing lol)

Overall we would stay here again in a heartbeat; the hotel reception, bathrooms and pool/ bar areas are excellent. The hotel staff are so nice as well. Rooms were cleaned every day and had great AC

The only downside to our stay was the food, we were half board, there was always a wide selection of foods but some of it was interesting

There was plenty bars and restaurants near by for excellent food though and some mornings toast and eggs did the job from the hotel

Location is good in terms of the city centre proximity, but horrible for anyone having a light sleep - it's just next to a busy intersection and a basketball court. Big plus for balconies and a view

The location was very central, was 10 minutes away from the beach and also 10 minutes away from the Old Town. There are many tavernas and restaurants in the near of hotel

Flooding shower, lack of light in bathroom, spring mattress that should be changed asap, first two floors have centralized AC without temperature/shut down option. Cleaning ladies dooing good job

I stayed here for a couple of nights to explore the city before heading to a resort. The interior is beautifully designed with chic boho vibes, giving it the feel of a magazine-worthy 5-star hotel

Our room was spacious and had a very efficient air conditioner which was vital in the hot weather. The included breakfast is a good selection but it would be nice to see a wider range of options or a rotating variety

It’s also extremely family-friendly – they provided a crib for our baby, and allowed us to check out an hour later at no extra charge to accommodate our child’s nap. Excellent service all around!

Really great experience staying here for the last 10 days, the staff were all wonderful from reception to bar to breakfast

The view was nice—our room overlooked the pool, and the front of the hotel offers a lovely ocean view. The staff was friendly and polite, and they helped us book a rental car at a good price

The senior lady who's owner she won our hearts by her helping nature ! We also would like to mention to the son's of the owner and the staff that we only stayed for one week, but all of you gave us memories and the experience for lifetime

We had an absolutely impeccable experience at this hotel. The accommodation was of the highest standard – spotless cleanliness, spacious and well-designed rooms, equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay

Every morning the cleaning was done but it was done to such a standard that was literally Immaculate, hats off to the cleaners because this absolute gem is pristine. The breakfast was lovely and everything was so fresh

From the water provided in the fridge on arrival, to seeing they provide an iron and can help with chargers amongst other things to the friendliness of the team it has everything you need

Also air conditioning that works well, which we were grateful for with the high temperatures that we experienced whilst there. Always enjoy our holidays here and hopefully will have more

Cleaned and disinfected every day. Towels and bed sheets changed every two days. Staff is the kindest ever, and the hotel position can't be better.

Pretty place in the old town of rethymno. Once you start using all the lane's in between the main street's you'll fined place's aren't that far away. Loads of tavernas to chose from,so don't worry about where to eat

The chairs in the courtyard area are perfect for relaxing and chilling while listening to the water trickling (if you are not swimming). The staff is warm and welcoming. The check-out at noon is a bonus

Hotel is a must with a nice breakfast,lovely rooms that are very clean and cleaned daily,fridge in you room and a swimming pool just for that morning swim or last one before bed

The woman from the hotel (Eva) was very helpful in finding a more suitable room for us and even went with us to a second Ink hotel to show us some options. All the personnel have been extremely friendly and helpful:-)

Room had a wall A/C unit and a space heater, both kept my room very comfortable during my stay. I stayed during New Years, so I can’t complain about street noise, considering I knew what I was getting myself into

One notice to people with car, you can park for free about 5-10 minutes from a hotel, there is parking space by the street right below the fortress. Also, there are paid parkings nearby

Excellent room with private outdoor yard that had a jacuzzi. Located right in the middle of Rethymno old town. Kind and available via phone, I had all the information that I needed as I was not familiar with the city

The hotel itself is extremely charming, was spotless and the location is unbeatable- totally central but on a quiet pedestrian street. The roof terrace is perfect for breakfast or a glass of wine (BYO)

Hugue authentic place. Great history of the building. Helpful host. For someone the noise of near bars may be the case. If the aim is get more familiar with Cretan history you should definitely stay in this place

Lovely rooms right in the heart of Rethymno. A few yards off a main shopping street and 10 minutes walk from the old town.

Location is perfect, almost in the center of old town ( we' ve got the map of the city and instructions where we need to go to launch, rent a car, buy a souvenirs and many other things ) , near the port of Venice and city fortress, beach is also near, around 500 - 600 hundred meters

Most important thing is that we have great relationship with the owners, 'cause they are amazing people, very kind, pleasant and proffessional, and always be there for anything that we need

Loved this place!! Wanted to stay longer. The service was amazing and our host was TOO kind. He carried out suitcases, got us a cab, gave plenty of directions and recommendations

Rented 2 rooms for my family in May. Great little family run hotel in excellent location! Rooms were super clean with good air conditioning. Would stay here again.

I highly recommend this accommodation!!! The room me and my friends stayed in was extremely clean and well equipped. There was a cute little balcony looking to the old town that we really appreciated as well

He gave us a great run down of the city and helpful tips, and was overall one of the kindest people we have met while traveling
