We had a great stay for 9 nights at the hotel. It's beautifully decorated with a relaxing and cozy courtyard. The staff is so welcoming, nice and helpful. They always met us with a smile and made us feel so comfortable

The bathroom also had an older, but functional design. In the pictures I attached the room before check-out, so you get the idea. In terms of food, I only had breakfast and was very satisfied, it was diversified

The reception is open 24/7 and they were so helpful with everything from booking tours, parking in the local area to checking out at latest possible, as we had a late flight home

They all seem to be provided with a big balcony, which we loved! and the rooftop pool and bar is a perfect alternative when you have had enough of swimming at the beach (or paying for the sunchairs every day 🤭)

We had a pleasant experience at this 4-star hotel, located very close to the beach and the old town, which was a big plus. The staff was extremely friendly and willing to help you with any need you may have

(Toast, milk with cereal, eggs, bacon, fruit, coffee, etc. ) The breakfast hours, from 7:30 or 8 until 11, very reasonable. Besides the food and the terrace looks very nice and full of greenery

The location within the city with all the money; clean beach - those two are the hotel's greatest advantage

the hotel is very close to the old town and a beautiful beach is just in front. Breakfast was delicious and lots of variety. We got a nice sailing trip by the hotel with a snack and champagne and we enjoyed so much

Also the sea in the beach is crystal clear, which is almost unbelievable! Provided with the hotelroom you have free access to beach towels, sunbeds, shower and changing rooms just in front of the hotel

First time visit to Rethymno and The Kriti Hotel. The hotel location to the beach can not be faulted with beach free sun lounges available to residents. Restaurants and bars are also nearby

if you want air conditioning and all the electricity worked when you walk away, pull one of the magnets that are at the bottom of the curtain in the bathroom (there are 2 different angles) and put it in the key slot! But remove them in the morning, otherwise, when they get taken away, and of course don't forget to return the magnet in place when you leave

The hotel is very good, the rooms are clean, cleaned every day, fridge, air conditioner, cooker))). Russian staff on retsepshene says no, and restaurant work. The food is very decent, diverse

Room decor is old, but the food, the location, the staff is fully eclipsed for us cons. Rooms are better with view of the garden, otherwise the noisy street

I stayed here for a couple of nights to explore the city before heading to a resort. The interior is beautifully designed with chic boho vibes, giving it the feel of a magazine-worthy 5-star hotel

It’s also extremely family-friendly – they provided a crib for our baby, and allowed us to check out an hour later at no extra charge to accommodate our child’s nap. Excellent service all around!

The view was nice—our room overlooked the pool, and the front of the hotel offers a lovely ocean view. The staff was friendly and polite, and they helped us book a rental car at a good price

Location was right in old town and close to restaurants and 15 min walk to the beach. Be aware rooms facing the sea are noisy as the local bars are open late into morning (4am). Pool fantastic and service terrific

Bar staff could be faster, drinks could take a while to arrive, but staff was nonetheless very friendly. Beautiful location, with a great view out to the sea

Nothing can win a good night sleep

The hotel is very clean and in the center of Rethymno. You gonna go Everywhere by foot. All the staff was very helpful and polite. Make sure you check out the hotel restaurant as well!!

We spent such a relaxing week in this hotel but within just 50 paces out of the hotel you're in the hustle and bustle of Rethimno old town; shops, cafés, ice-cream and restaurants galore! It's an incredible hotel in a superb location! For us, it had everything

Staff are friendly across the board (they all seemed very happy to be working here) - when you stay in a lot of hotels, this is not always the case, breakfast was pretty much the same each day but with a very decent selection of extremely fresh choices

The two pools are wonderful and such a plus point especially when you have children and you all need to cool off. The bar areas were great as were the breakfasts. The staff were also brilliant

The hotel has spotless modern rooms with a big balcony that looks over the sea. A stunning view! There is a large swimming pool and a sundeck, both overlooking the sea

Location is good in terms of the city centre proximity, but horrible for anyone having a light sleep - it's just next to a busy intersection and a basketball court. Big plus for balconies and a view

Around 15min walk to the city beach,but the bus station is really near the hotel so you can go to that or any other beach. Of course the hotel would use some renovation,but for now we were satisfied with our stay

The hotel is a bit old and the walls are thin, so you can hear everything. Better have the ear plugs. But the price is low, so the price-quality is ok. It is just 5 minutes walking to the old town.

The location was very central, was 10 minutes away from the beach and also 10 minutes away from the Old Town. There are many tavernas and restaurants in the near of hotel

Flooding shower, lack of light in bathroom, spring mattress that should be changed asap, first two floors have centralized AC without temperature/shut down option. Cleaning ladies dooing good job

The breakfast was an open buffet and it was very varied and delicious also, really gave us a good day start. The room was spacious, very clean, it had functional AC which was a life saver against the very hot weather

The bathroom was large enough, the Wi-Fi was ok most of the time and the cleaning team was coming to clean the room every single day. The hotel’s pool was very clean and the temperature was just perfect

Good place to stay if you are traveling by car. Parking next to the palazzo, quiet courtyard. the fortress and the old town are nearby, noisy streets are far away

This place is perfect in many ways. Voula is a very nice host and makes you feel at home. The rooms are very complete and have comfortabel beds

The room had balcony and the hotel room itself was really clean. We had air conditioner also at the room. Receptionist named Katerina!? (Not sure if the name is writen right) was really nice and friendly

Great location but it's noisy due to trafficking, very hospitality staff. Only objection is there is no list of "useful things"in the room and you must ask for every info

The hotel has a really nice location. The quality of the hotel is quite average. We stayed there for 7 nights and breakfast was every day with the same selection of food

Nice small hotel near city center of Rethymno. Tidy rooms, clean, nice classical music in elevetor. Rooms on the street bit noisy for those who need to rest. Beach 2 min walk, port 2 min, near to all atractios

Airbnb had cockroaches and we had to find alternative accommodation with 3 young children late at night

The man at reception (I didn't take his name but he was on the front desk on Wednesday August 21st) was very helpful. We really appreciated his help and understanding manner. We would have been stuck otherwise

The senior lady who's owner she won our hearts by her helping nature ! We also would like to mention to the son's of the owner and the staff that we only stayed for one week, but all of you gave us memories and the experience for lifetime

Pretty place in the old town of rethymno. Once you start using all the lane's in between the main street's you'll fined place's aren't that far away. Loads of tavernas to chose from,so don't worry about where to eat

The chairs in the courtyard area are perfect for relaxing and chilling while listening to the water trickling (if you are not swimming). The staff is warm and welcoming. The check-out at noon is a bonus

We went here for dinner on our last night in Crete. Beautiful setting with a small, but well judged menu. It’s perfect for couples, more restaurant like then the bustle of the tavernas which open out into the alleys

Just back from a delightful trip to Rethymno on Crete. Our base was the Veneto Hotel and I have to say it was great, full of character with little extra details that added to the experience

The goat dish and the moussaka were excellent. Also, the waiter was very good and recommended a cheaper wine than the one we originally ordered- always a plus!

a beautiful room in a stone with photos - the road to it leads through restaurants and tables with guests who sit near your door until at least midnight. except that there is no internet or telephone coverage there

The third way to the other rooms is different - however, they are also above the restaurant and the tables of guests. no hand soap in the rooms - I have no idea why. The 5th shower cubicle in our room was dirty

AC worked fine and wasn't too loud. Had a good night's sleep all week. Didn't have the strength to stream anything but enough to check and social media and so on. We spent our days at the beach

- Rooms are fresh and well cleaned. We got a room on the top floor (3rd) and furthest away in the hallway. And probably the biggest balcony. Ask for room 311, you won't be disappointed

- Location is everything for this hotel. 0min walk to the Old Town and all that is has to offer. Around 15min walk to the big beach. Around 1h 30min with the transfer bus

Just got here about 2am this morning, 1st time staying here, but we knew about this hotel as we've been to rethymno 4 times, we have a great room with sun most of the day, and till the last bit of sun at night, staff, bar and breakfast have been fabulous and we're only here 1 day 🇬🇷🌞

Had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The location is fantastic. The rooms were big and clean. We really enjoyed the pool area and the breakfast had lots of vegetarian options. Would recommend and would stay again.

Very good Hotel, fine roof-top Pool, fine breakfast, very good hotel room. Just one thing to complain is the street-noise, but therefor you are in the heart of town.

Very simple room but equiped enough with necessary staff to your stay. Nice breakfasts and swimming pool on top but we didn't got a chance to try it.

The staff will help you, though, we chose the easiest way - the marina parking. Although in the centre, it was pretty quiet. There is also a lovely small swimming pool on site

No parking onsite, you have to park in a Municipal lot, which is not too far away. Getting to the Municipal lot is not hard. We took a taxi from Herklion and the cab driver was able to drop us off right to the front door

Lovely nice little boutique hotel with very friendly staff and the best chocolate brownies for breakfast! :) It's in the very centre of Rethymnon, so if you're on car expect some walking

It is located right in the middle of the beautiful old town area with tons of shopping and food. The ambiance is wonderful and the room type and quality is very good

Few things to consider: Since it is in the middle of the Old Town area, driving to this location on your own is hard, unless you are a local and know your way through the very tiny old town streets

The person who attends to the breakfast was really wonderful and very friendly (sorry forgot her name). We are already planning a second trip in a year or two
