I had a wonderful stay at the Palazzo Vecchio for ten nights and would recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly, small, ideally located hotel to explore the beautiful city of Rethymnon and the rest of Crete

We spent a wonderful week at this hotel. Service was immaculate, staff so friendly and helpful. The best place to visit Rethymno. On the edge of the old town, everything within walking distance

Situated just at the edge of the old town this beautiful Venetian residence is perfectly located. The staff are excellent and always available and very helpful. This hotel is a credit to the owners 10/10 👍

Good place to stay if you are traveling by car. Parking next to the palazzo, quiet courtyard. the fortress and the old town are nearby, noisy streets are far away

This place is perfect in many ways. Voula is a very nice host and makes you feel at home. The rooms are very complete and have comfortabel beds

The room had balcony and the hotel room itself was really clean. We had air conditioner also at the room. Receptionist named Katerina!? (Not sure if the name is writen right) was really nice and friendly

Great location but it's noisy due to trafficking, very hospitality staff. Only objection is there is no list of "useful things"in the room and you must ask for every info

The hotel has a really nice location. The quality of the hotel is quite average. We stayed there for 7 nights and breakfast was every day with the same selection of food

L like everything about hotel-From loction to staffs were wounderful,Willingly to help with anything you want

AC worked fine and wasn't too loud. Had a good night's sleep all week. Didn't have the strength to stream anything but enough to check and social media and so on. We spent our days at the beach

- Rooms are fresh and well cleaned. We got a room on the top floor (3rd) and furthest away in the hallway. And probably the biggest balcony. Ask for room 311, you won't be disappointed

Great hotel lovely staff lovely rooms this is a great hotel to visit if you like the town centre and the harbour

- Location is everything for this hotel. 0min walk to the Old Town and all that is has to offer. Around 15min walk to the big beach. Around 1h 30min with the transfer bus

Just got here about 2am this morning, 1st time staying here, but we knew about this hotel as we've been to rethymno 4 times, we have a great room with sun most of the day, and till the last bit of sun at night, staff, bar and breakfast have been fabulous and we're only here 1 day 🇬🇷🌞

Had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The location is fantastic. The rooms were big and clean. We really enjoyed the pool area and the breakfast had lots of vegetarian options. Would recommend and would stay again.

The boutique is conveniently located along the port, within 5 minutes walk to beach front and to all the restaurants and night life of Rethymno. The rooms are clean and well equipped! The service is also amazing

The service in this nice hotel is great! I was hundreds of times in Greece but I have never experienced such a great service! From the young boy at reception to the main administrator/owner everybody were so kind that I didn't want to leave the hotel

Nice air-conditioning, TV, balcony with a great sea view and many others. The view from the balcony is nice and you are looking directly at the sea. The beach is also very nice and just a couple of minutes from you

Really great service, new rooms. We were very impressed / comfortable. In fact we moved here from a Grecohotel that was falling apart. This was probably one of the best overall (especially price adjusted).

The owner is super friendly and gave us many tips on where to eat authentic Greek food at great prices! Within walking distance are many great restaurants at beautiful locations but should you want to eat in the city centre, the hotel is located at walking distance

The hotel has spotless modern rooms with a big balcony that looks over the sea. A stunning view! There is a large swimming pool and a sundeck, both overlooking the sea

The rooms are modern with stunning views and the Bar drinks are made with known brand spirits and not local or cheaper ones. Thank you for making our stay welcoming and easy during a complicated time

Hotel is standing on a main road We had very good time at Cyprus. The owner of the hotel is very friendly and cooperative. He recommended to us good places for eating and visiting

One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in, superior attention to detail and super friendly and helpful staff. A little up the hill from the main town but 15-20 mins walk only and fantastic value for money

We were not able to travel because of personal circumstances. So I requested to the hotel to waive the cancellation fees for obvious reasons. I have course really appreciated the kindness of the staff

Location is good in terms of the city centre proximity, but horrible for anyone having a light sleep - it's just next to a busy intersection and a basketball court. Big plus for balconies and a view

Rooms were clean unfortunately old and clearly required renovation. Staff os very polite and professional. This hotel is located in the very center of the city which is handy

Around 15min walk to the city beach,but the bus station is really near the hotel so you can go to that or any other beach. Of course the hotel would use some renovation,but for now we were satisfied with our stay

The hotel is a bit old and the walls are thin, so you can hear everything. Better have the ear plugs. But the price is low, so the price-quality is ok. It is just 5 minutes walking to the old town.

The location was very central, was 10 minutes away from the beach and also 10 minutes away from the Old Town. There are many tavernas and restaurants in the near of hotel

Flooding shower, lack of light in bathroom, spring mattress that should be changed asap, first two floors have centralized AC without temperature/shut down option. Cleaning ladies dooing good job

The breakfast was an open buffet and it was very varied and delicious also, really gave us a good day start. The room was spacious, very clean, it had functional AC which was a life saver against the very hot weather

The bathroom was large enough, the Wi-Fi was ok most of the time and the cleaning team was coming to clean the room every single day. The hotel’s pool was very clean and the temperature was just perfect

One of the standout aspects of our stay was the hospitality of the hotel manager, Tatiana. She was incredibly kind and helpful, providing us with directions and tips whenever we needed them

Nice small hotel near city center of Rethymno. Tidy rooms, clean, nice classical music in elevetor. Rooms on the street bit noisy for those who need to rest. Beach 2 min walk, port 2 min, near to all atractios

Airbnb had cockroaches and we had to find alternative accommodation with 3 young children late at night

The man at reception (I didn't take his name but he was on the front desk on Wednesday August 21st) was very helpful. We really appreciated his help and understanding manner. We would have been stuck otherwise

The senior lady who's owner she won our hearts by her helping nature ! We also would like to mention to the son's of the owner and the staff that we only stayed for one week, but all of you gave us memories and the experience for lifetime

Pretty place in the old town of rethymno. Once you start using all the lane's in between the main street's you'll fined place's aren't that far away. Loads of tavernas to chose from,so don't worry about where to eat

The chairs in the courtyard area are perfect for relaxing and chilling while listening to the water trickling (if you are not swimming). The staff is warm and welcoming. The check-out at noon is a bonus

Hotel is a must with a nice breakfast,lovely rooms that are very clean and cleaned daily,fridge in you room and a swimming pool just for that morning swim or last one before bed

A little oasis. Lovely pool area. Rooms are quiet and family who run it are helpful. A restored building with an interesting history.

No words could describe this wonderful building with is historic charm. Central to restaurants and tour operators. Originally her childhood family home, Helen now manages the property and is a delight to talk to

We slept here for 2 days as a couple and I thinks it’s a great location in this beautiful city. Also, the bar is directly located in the hotel and we had a funny night with flavoured Raki & Richard who works on the bar

The hotel is very clean and in the center of Rethymno. You gonna go Everywhere by foot. All the staff was very helpful and polite. Make sure you check out the hotel restaurant as well!!

The breakfasts were amazing and we felt thoroughly spoilt! The pool although small was so refreshing in the heat of the day, and the courtyard a lovely place to relax amongst the pretty flowers and plants

Nice, family owned, tranquil hotel located in the old town, walking distance to everywhere. Has a nice restaurant attached which serves a variety of taste dishes. Supermarket 5 min walk from hotel

A little gem in the heart of the town. What a wonderful hotel so full of history and character and so well preserved. The family who run it are wonderful and couldn't have been more helpful

The place could be better insulated to sound, but with a historical building, I am sure there are limitations. There are no elevators, so not ideal for people with mobility issues

The staff will help you, though, we chose the easiest way - the marina parking. Although in the centre, it was pretty quiet. There is also a lovely small swimming pool on site

No parking onsite, you have to park in a Municipal lot, which is not too far away. Getting to the Municipal lot is not hard. We took a taxi from Herklion and the cab driver was able to drop us off right to the front door

Lovely nice little boutique hotel with very friendly staff and the best chocolate brownies for breakfast! :) It's in the very centre of Rethymnon, so if you're on car expect some walking

It is located right in the middle of the beautiful old town area with tons of shopping and food. The ambiance is wonderful and the room type and quality is very good

Few things to consider: Since it is in the middle of the Old Town area, driving to this location on your own is hard, unless you are a local and know your way through the very tiny old town streets

The person who attends to the breakfast was really wonderful and very friendly (sorry forgot her name). We are already planning a second trip in a year or two

We had an amazing vintage room(1couple)! Two floor apartment with balcony to Rethimno port. Its is located directly to the center of the main city and nearby you can find absolutely everything

Regarding the room it was amazing that it had hairdryer and many-many amenities. I will definitely reccommend it! Hope that they could provide us with more details about the area :)

Perfect location. In the heart of old town. Nice and clean. All staff are very friendly. Good breakfast to be eaten outside with ambience music.

Very nice ! Mr Nikos knows how to take Care of his guests. It is a hotel with heart. A bedroom with airconditionning, a shower, a complete breakfast with local and tasty products... I definitely recommend it

Charming small hotel on the edge of the "Old Town. " Extremely friendly and kind staff. As a family of four we were well looked after

A bit hard to find, but right next to the old town. All rooms are up a spiraling staircase (no lift). Lovely antique decor & furniture.
