Was here 3 years ago and it was amazing unfortunately on return this year we have found the evening meal to have gone down hill rapidly , not much choice , doesn't taste of much. We stayed in this hotel for 10 days. The hotel very friendly to families with children. Rooms very clean, cleaned daily every day. Change of towels with new ones every day. We've had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Ideon for our holiday. Our first room had a very unpleasant smell, luckily we could transfer to another room as soon as possible. I stayed here for a couple of nights to explore the city before heading to a resort. The interior is beautifully designed with chic boho vibes, giving it the feel of a magazine-worthy 5-star hotel. Really great experience staying here for the last 10 days, the staff were all wonderful from reception to bar to breakfast. Our room was spacious and had a very efficient air conditioner which was vital in the hot weather. The included breakfast is a good selection but it would be nice to see a wider range of options or a rotating variety. Very pleased with our stay and hope to stay again in the future

Sweet spot!!!! Pool is good, lots of chairs. Owner is so sweet. The hotel can help with everything from booking taxis to rental cars. There is elevators to every floor, but you have to change elevators along the way. The hotel is 30 minutes away on walk to the city, so it’s kinda a walk in the heat to get dinner etc.

We had a good holiday. Just some difficulties with the towel service. They only replace them once every 2/3 days, which I believe to be a little bit less in such a warm country. We asked for extra towels but this was absolutely not possible. Staff was okey.

We just stayed there for the last 4 days and it was wonderful. Georgios is a great host and we felt like home at Olympia. We were not able to travel because of personal circumstances. So I requested to the hotel to waive the cancellation fees for obvious reasons. They accepted. Got back two days ago. Excellent hotel, a bit far from the center (old town), but the staff is very polite, rooms are clean and everything is new. It has absolutely all you need plus very very nice service. Two girls and one guy from the reception are very helpful and nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially if you rent a car or don't mind paying for taxi to go to the center. ☺️

Good value self catering apartments, with a good cleaning service. Grounds have a delightful variety of fruit trees and plants. Relaxed atmosphete and friendly helpful service. There are a number of cats that patrol the grounds. We have had a lovely holiday based here in Crete.

my dear i recently spent holidays in crete. I stayed with my wife and two children at the Bueno Hotel. We were greeted by a nice old lady, probably the mother of the owner.
