A family run island hotel. It is not a corporate multi-story building.

Well situated. Well run. Friendly and helpful staff and management.

They change the linen thrice weekly which is a plus factor.

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel

What a beautiful boutique hotel. Quaint room with amazing high ceilings and fantastic value to boot. Only spent one night here with my Mum but wish it was longer. Fantastic location - close to both Old and New town, lots of restaurants close by, great breakfast included along with a good bit of banter with Mihalis - a real character :) If we get the chance we will definitely be back. Thanks for the hospitality Mihalis - from the Irish ladies. :)

Great little B&B hotel. Just what we were looking for. A lot of the hotels in Rhodes seem to be the big, all-inclusive type. Anastasia is a small boutique hotel about 10 minutes walk from Old Town and a couple of minutes to the sea and within easy reach of loads of bars, restaurants and cafes. We were here for 5 nights in room 5 and had a great time. The room was large and clean and the bed and pillows were good quality and comfortable. The bathroom, though small, was well laid out, modern fittings and a good shower. The complementary soap etc was nice too. Breakfast was lovely, served by the owner in the courtyard garden, so you got to meet and greet your fellow guests. Breakfast consisted of pastries, cake, fruit, yoghurt, eggs, toast and cheese if you wanted it. More than enough to see you through the rest of the day. If we were to return to the area we would definitely consider staying here again.

Good value, simple, but comfortable rooms in the new town, convenient for restaurants and, to a lesser extent, the ports.

Breakfast was included in the very reasonable price and was fine as a one off but might get dull quickly.

The owners, Michalis and Stefania are a bit like chalk and cheese. Michalis is, to put it nicely, a bit of a character. Lots of people seemed to love him, but I didn't take to his mannerisms. Stefania though is lovely.

If you're staying for a night or two before going home or catching a ferry, it's a very good choice.

I must admit, Michalis' general grumpiness has put us off staying there again, but other people staying there at the same time as us were returning customers, so maybe we just didn't get his sense of humour.

Hotel Anastasia is a small hotel in a beautiful old house, lovingly restored with an eye for detail. The location is ideal for exploring the old city centre or walking to the Acropolis. The room was well and functionally furnished and the old tiles gave the room a special charm. The house and room were spotlessly clean and there were fresh towels daily. In the morning, breakfast was served in the well-kept garden. It was more than sufficient and you could choose from many things. The host is nice, friendly and cares about his house and his guests. I felt welcome and at home. Overall, it was a great and beautiful stay - I would come back anytime.

Excellent place. Magical garden around.
Easy to get around. Quiet and perfect location.
Hosts are unique and very kind people. Just remember it’s not a anonymous fast track hotel with no soul. It is a real place with real people.

The hotel is a beautiful old Italian villa with a garden, situated in a quiet leafy street but very central. It has a sort of charm to it, old furniture, old shutters and high ceilings, but would need a bit of upkeep and renovation. It As a 1-star hotel, there is no great expectation of luxury, but it is clean, not expensive and breakfast is good. Actually, it would have been a very nice stay if not for the people who run it. To say that they were “unprofessional” is putting it mildly. Throughout our stay they treated us like we were a nuisance and we felt unwelcome and uncomfortable in their presence. The woman was stony-faced and unfriendly , but at least she responded when we spoke to her or asked her something. It was almost impossible to communicate with the man, he would just stare at us and mutter, or make weird comments and “jokes” (this was not a language issue – we tried English, French and Greek). Luckily, we had booked only for one night – we would have anyway moved out the next morning. What a pity.

Amazing hotel close to the beach as well as the old town. The location is cozy with beautiful garden when we had breakfast every morning with cakes made by the owners and local vegetables.
The kind owners made our holiday with tips about where to go visit and eating!

Recommended. Why stay in an anonymous modern tourist hotel? The hotel has a lovely charm,.an authentic atmosphere that feels like it's been here for generations. The owners are really proud of their place and are really happy when people drop in and see it for themselves before they book. (Plus, that way, you may not need to pay commission to the booking websites either).

And while you're there, meet the tortoises!
