This hotel can be described as an average place to stay – not really high standard, but not the worst either. It’s basically just a place to sleep with very minimal facilities.

There is no basic equipment like a kettle for tea or coffee in the rooms. If you ask at reception, they will only provide one if you leave a €10 deposit. There is no microwave available, not even in the lobby. Breakfast is available, but beyond that the hotel does not offer much in terms of comfort.

Cleanliness is also average to below average. It’s not terrible, but certainly not up to higher hotel standards. The location is also not very convenient – it doesn’t feel very safe when returning at night (even around 10–11 PM). In addition, the hotel is not very well connected to public transportation.

The doors were not soundproof at all, and every noise from the hallway could be clearly heard inside the room. Guests from rooms 204 and 206 often stood in the corridor talking loudly, and we were woken up around 7 AM by their voices. There was no sense of peace or privacy, as the doors provided no insulation against the noise.

Overall: this hotel is fine if you just need a bed for the night, but don’t expect comfort, convenient facilities, or a great location.

Centrally located. Perfect for sightseeing and shopping. Rooms are neat and comfortable. But no kettle, no water, no tea/coffee. TV is rubbish - a couple of news channels and the rest is Hungarian. Breakfast is passable. Not much choice. No fresh fruit. Fridge doesn't work.

Whatever the price or star grading of a hotel there is no excuse for mould in the shower, a shower head that falls to the ground (had to hold it by hand) and spider webs on upper walls that have not been cleaned for months. Evidence that the one elevator has been out of order for long time. This hampers large tour groups accessing rooms efficiently.
