The location of this cute little hotel is perfect. We arrived by train and could store our luggage before the check-in and directly start exploring the historical part of the city that is just around the corner of the hotel. Although it is very central it was quiet at night. The twin room we booked was bright and clean. The owners very friendly and helpful. We stayed there off-season (February/March) and the price was fair.
All in all, I would defintely recommend the hotel if you are thinking about a city trip to Firenze.

For 250 euros you would think this is amazing but it is standard fare. DO NOT GET THEIR 20 euro breakfast “buffet”. It is complete rip off. It’s self serve garbage coffee from the machine, fake cheese (resembles American yellow cheese in packaging), 2-3 day old croissants which were dry and almost hard. Rest is cheap cereal and other packaged goodies. Nothing is fresh. Not even bread. This is criminal for 20 euros. Rooms are average and paper thin walls.

Rude staff. Not helpful at all. Mosquitoes were horrible in the hotel. Breakfast was the worst I’ve experienced. Location is good but doesn’t worth your money. Do not recommend.

Our flight to Florence got cancelled and we had one day delay. Although during this time we kept them updated about everything and when we would arrive and they confirmed that it was okay. While we were in Florence Airport they cancelled our booking as a „no show“. We had a bad day because of the flight complexities and they made it terrible with cancelling the booking. As they cancelled, our chat from booking was deleted and we couldn’t even contact them, neither phone nor chat. We asked booking customer service to contact them and the hotel didn’t even answer them. We had to find another place for our stay in Florence and as it was last minute we did not find a nice choice even for triple the price. By the way they also charged us for the whole booking period.
In a nutshell I don’t think they could do worse.

Great location for the hotel as it is only about 7 to 10 minute walk from the train station.
The room might be outdated but the room was good enough. The bed a pillows were comfortable enough but as a location (base) to get around the city and to go elsewhere is great. I managed to get a room where it looked over onto the balcony.
I am glad I chose this location as it allowed me to get to all the hot spots fairly quickly and early.

Why am I giving a 2 star hotel 5 stars ? Read on ..we booked 4 nights here and arrived quite early before check in time to leave our bags ..the reception area is lovely and welcoming ..there was someone on reception firstly ..there was no you are early ..we were checked in with no fuss ..no computer a lovely old ledger ..the hotel flows beautifully to a mezzanine lounge area ..we had a room adjacent to the lovely balcony on the first floor which is open to 23.00 if you fancy a take away pizza and bottle of wine available in the hotel at far cheaper prices than most bars in Florence ..there were no fussy rules and regulations ..there was a free safe in the room ..it was clean and tidy and the cleaner was lovely ..I am sure it was a family run hotel ..nothing was too much trouble the staff/ owners made you feel you were welcome and not a problem ..the price for four nights was incredibly reasonable given it's location and large open balcony and terrace ..it was quiet during the night ..the bed was comfortable ..it is old fashioned but is quaint and charming ..when such hotels no longer exist and are replaced by the usual type of hotel they will be missed so give them your business ..we loved it and would have no hesitation in going back ...

Quite small hotel, very centrical and quite cheap. The staff was nice and welcoming. Regarding the room, to be honest you could see how everything was pretty dated and the shower didn’t really work. Since we are traveling all Italy in 2 weeks, on a budget, we didn’t really mind since we weren’t much in the room. Would recommend if you are looking just for a place to sleep and go.
