Our Junior Suite was spacious, tastefully decorated, and featured a comfortable bed.
We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfast and had a wonderful dinner at the hotel restaurant. While not inexpensive, the experience was well worth it—it added an extra layer of enjoyment to our visit to this fabulous city.
The hotel itself is stunning. The aesthetic is gorgeous, blending historic charm with modern comfort, and everything was spotlessly clean. The service was true 5-star quality—everyone was so warm and attentive. The doorman grabbed our bags the moment we arrived, and the staff made us feel right at home from start to finish. We loved the little touches like turndown service and the overall attention to detail. If you’re looking for a beautiful, central hotel with exceptional service, this is the place. We’re already looking forward to coming back!
Really its staff is very well trained, looking to offer all in their hands so that you feel at home. The chief of the staff, Mr. Julio Cesar is a very professional one , as are all the people assisting him.

The Hotel is incredibly clean, the Hotel staff are friendly, dedicated, hardworking and committed to ensuring you have an excellent stay.
The morning breakfast was delicious with an incredible variety of high quality meats, cheese, breads and included morning samosas.
The Chef visited us twice during our stay seeking feedback on the variety and quality of the food. We really appreciated his enquiries because it speaks to the genuine care they have to ensure guests are having an excellent experience at their Hotel.
The wait staff at the morning breakfast deserve mention for their hard-work, dedication and commitment to ensure the guests have excellent service.
We had an issue with noise every morning at around 3 am....everything from fighting, arguing to singing going on in the alley beside us. As we were on the 2nd floor this was tremendously annoying. I brought it to the front desks attention and they did not hesitate providing us an upgraded suite on one of the upper floors on the opposite side of the Hotel.
They genuinely cared about our experience at the Hotel and demonstrated that concern several times during our stay.
The Hotel is beautiful and is in an excellent location - virtually everything is walkable from this Hotel.
We highly recommend and hope to return.
Spent a wonderful week in Florence. We had a small glitch at the end of our stay, which was not any fault of the hotel. Due to Florence marathon on Sunday and the 24 rail strike, which started on Saturday night, we had to extend our stay. The staff did everything they could to help us with alternate travel plans.
Only after considerable debating and a full day of dealing with the staff, because the Manager never had time to speak to me himself, did they change my room and not charge me for that night’s stay. It took even more time explaining the several days of discomfort and interference with my vacation plans, as well as additional costs in medical and laundry bills, that they discount one additional night’s stay.
Unfortunately, the Hotel staff did not seem to understand the difference between cleaning the room and exterminating the bugs from the room. I do not believe, after having several conversations with the staff, that they will take the proper steps to avoid another hotel guest from undergoing the same fate.
To further note, I have travelled to Italy my entire life and am a fluent Italian speaker, I have never experienced this level of indifference and apathy in addressing a serious concern.
