It was a great decision to stay at hotel; around corner from train station, restaurants nearby, very centric. The best part was the A/C!

Decent hotel at walking distance from Florance S.M.N. Staff is very cooperative and proactive in terms of making check-in arrangements/instructions for guests.

Lovely little hotel very close to train station and city centre. We went with a 2 years old and got a pretty big room, however notice that they don't have a lift so it was challenging to bring the pram up and down the stairs everytimewe went for a walk. Really friendly and helpful staff. Would recomend for a short stay in Florence.

Would not recommend at all. We had an issue with the air conditioning turning off after 5 mins and it would not stay on. As we noticed this overnight, we let them know the next morning to see if they had another room or could get it fixed. Unfortunately they were fully booked and as we could not sleep due to the room being too hot, we advised them if it couldn’t be fixed we would like to go elsewhere which reception thought was fair enough. We were assured it would be sorted by the time we got back which was 4pm. As we got back no one had been to get it sorted and there was no update. We asked what was going on and was told the technician was about to arrive. We gave them the benefit and said we could wait until they get there before going elsewhere as it wasn’t their fault. We came back just before dinner to find no staff around, our room door wide open with anyone able to help themselves to our luggage in our room. We closed and locked the door then went to dinner. We came back to finally find the maintenance man waiting for the technician at the front door of the hotel and our door to our room wide open again. It was getting later and later. We expressed our concerns, contacted the owner and he said it’s not his problem and didn’t care, we requested to get our money back for the following nights which he refused. He eventually gave in at 10:30 at night to offer 50% discount of the nights we stayed and 100% of the nights we were going elsewhere. As it was too late due to the muck around we had to stay another night as we couldn’t find alternative accomodation at 10:30pm. The technician was in our room from 10pm-11pm at night trying to fix it. We had a massive day and wanted to be in bed by 9pm. The aircon was given a temporary fix, which kept it on but still wasn’t producing cold air but was enough to keep a breeze to get sleep. Reception had promised to sort the refund, the owner promised to sort it, it is still yet to be refunded. They are now ignoring us and pretending nothing happened and weren’t concerned about our room just being left open or our stuff anywhere. The photos also make the rooms look nicer than they are, the place is quite rundown. Would recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

It was not quite what the pictures on the website portrayed it to be. There was mold in the shower. The walls were paper thin. We could hear everything, even the people in the room next to us showering. However, very convenient to the train station.

I stayed with this hotel along with My wife and daughter in May 2024.
Now before one actually starts to compare price vs delivery, please look at following aspect.
It is in Florence and not Asia. (I have stayed at 5star properties in Middle east at similar prices but the comparison is not right)
The real price vs amenities comparison should be basis the price offered by hotels in florence in similar location.
Considering this it was a bargain deal.
As a tourist, i liked few stuff and disliked some but liked more:
Also please note it is a 2 star property so set expectations right and just dont underrate place by comparing it’s amenities with a 5star.
If i compare it to other 2star properties i have seen - it is way better.
What we liked!
1 - it is in the heart of florence. We did the major florence spots (7-8) by walking from this hotel.
2 - location - you come out of Firenze SMN station from the right exit and walk barely 100steps and hotel is there.
3 - Savings - Due to location you save on taxi and transport cost - Minimum 30-50 euros a day.!!!
4- Staff - Approachable and more than willing to lend hand. The lady at reception was more than willing to pick up and place bag to the room. (Yes the dont have lift but its a vintage property)
5 - Cleanliness - Room was clean and was cleaned on daily basis. The sheets etc were washed
6 - Toiletries - Ample basis toiletries - Soap and Body wash.
7 - Bidet - Such a relief being Accustomed to Indian way of cleaning
8- Room Size - Big and quite big - Size as advertised. Thanks for being honest about this.
What I didn’t like
1 - Shower hand had mould on it. i could see the cleaning staff had tried to clean it with metal and instead it scratched the surface and hence more mould. Feedback to the owner, it is not a high cost item, please replace it and I suggest a good one time deep bleaching of washrooms to remove source of regrowth.
2 - water - There not even a single bottle of water. Although even when we were stayimg 4star or 3 star property there was no or insufficient water. This can also be my lack of understanding of Italian culture.

The hotel is located next to the train station, which is very convenient. However, the hotel does not have front desk service. You must contact the hotel in advance before check-in. However, the platform provides the hotel phone number, and you cannot contact the hotel with this phone number. I was very helpless when I arrived at the hotel gate and couldn't enter.
In addition, the TV and refrigerator in the hotel room cannot be used. Very disappointing!

This is a difficult review to write. The staff (when they were there) was good. It is listed as a B&B. There is no breakfast and the staff is non-existent. The building is old, there is no elevator, there is no staff. The plumbing is messed up and there is only hot water. We lost our key and had to call numerous numbers to get ahold of someone. They came in about an hour and charged a very reasonable price for a lost key, but the whole experience was not good. Stay somewhere else for a lot less money and 24 hr staff. This was the most expensive "hotel" of our whole trip and it was not worth it.

Expensive, no breakfast, no elevator, no concierge, no AC. What else? The advantage of being close to the station does not correspond to a quality adequate to a 3 star. Not suitable for disabled people. When asking for a bottle of water ... the eyes were widened

Location: Next to the central station, perfect for moving suitcases. No hustle and bustle outside the hotel. It is a 20-30 minute walk to central Florence.
Cleanliness: minimal. I stayed there for a few nights, but the towels were left on the bathroom floor, but they never replaced them.
Service: Reception is mostly empty. The room door was not closed after room cleaning. I felt worried about safety because there were times when the reception was empty and the entrance to the hotel building was locked.
Facilities: The room door was very hard to open and close, and a woman could not close it securely. No elevator.
Overall, I won't choose it next time.
