The hotel has a great location with good service, and it's close to major attractions. However, the rooms are a bit dimly lit, and the facilities are somewhat outdated. Thankfully, the bathroom has been renovated with a proper wet/dry separation. One thing to note: after taking the elevator to the guest floors, there are still a few steps to climb—so it might not be the best choice for those with mobility issues.

It was exactly as you expect 3star hotel to be, a bit worn out, but has it's charm.
my room was simple, but tidy. Main inconvenience was the bathroom, although clean, it has two downsides: 1) the shower is quite small and when you get inside the curtain is always sticking to you. 2) the toilet flash was broken, never worked on the first try - I had to press many-many times to flush it.
It didn't ruin the experience, but it's a bit annoying for sure

I could not be happier with this hotel. Exceptional service from the staff, helping me when i made a mistake with my booking days. The rooms are what you would expect for the price, which is great value within minutes of the train station.
Will definitely stay again - the staff make all the differebec at a hotel and every person i talked to were amazing.

We stayed in the Hotel San Giorgio for just under a week while visiting Florence. The hotel is ideally placed, a 1 minute walk from the tram station to the airport, a few minutes from the main town and surrounded by places to visit.
The hotel staff were lovely, friendly and accommodating, the hotel is rustic, homely and very Italian. I feel most of the reviews complaining about the rooms are people far too used to generic, boring chain hotels and have an expectation of sterile premier Inn type hotel.
This is not that, the room was clean, comfortable, everything worked as it should, the water was hot in the shower and the staff cleaned and dressed the room daily.
The breakfast was pleasant, coffee was good and when we go back to Florence, we would happily stay there again.

The hotel didn’t even have a regular refrigerator or slippers. The room was small for two people, the sheets on the bed were dirty, and there were no extra sheets in the room. There was also no heating system. However, its location was excellent for visiting Florence's historical and natural attractions.

Location was fantastic, and rooms were clean with a decent view. Love the lobby, but what really knocked a star off this review for me was the receptionist. He was very kurt, and unhelpful when I asked for information. I literally went to another hotel who helped me get the information I needed as well as working to help me translate things to find my way. This was only my experience though.
The room was what I needed, nothing fancy though they were a bit small. If the receptionist had been more welcoming, I probably would have given this place 5 stars.
