The location is excellent, very close to the station and quiet at night.
The room I stayed in had a rather unique layout, which was fine, but unfortunately there were quite a few insects flying around, and the supplies such as toilet paper were not sufficiently replenished.
On the positive side, the hotel staff were all very kind and helpful.

This is a good 2 star hotel. Cristina was awesome! Great recommendations as to where to eat. Very helpful. She put me in the one room with a balcony which overlooked an adjacent hotel courtyard. Being 2 star, the furnishings are basic, but I’m not lounging around the hotel room when I’m traveling, I’m out and about. Furnishings were fine. Nothing fancy. The bed was a foam mattress I believe and rather firm. I like firm beds so this didn’t bother me but I could see where some might want more plush bedding. Location really can’t be beat. No elevator so you have to up stairs, and no 24 desk, use code after hours. Breakfast was typical for a hotel: yogurt, baked goods, coffee, etc. and was fine for a quick breakfast before heading out. My room was quiet except someone stomped around once above me, but only had that happen once for 5 minutes or so. I didn’t think there were floors above but there may be apartments above the hotel. Price was great. I’d stay here again. Attached pics of views from balcony. Not much to see, but nice to have the option!

I stayed here for my weekend trip. The hotel is very quiet. Never had any issues with noisy next room neighbours or noisy staff working outside. I travel solo and the room they gave me was enough for a single person. Hotel looks clean. The furniture was a little bit old but it wasn't an issue for me. The room was cool enough even during the summer time, never turned on the AC. Interestingly, the room had a very different layout. Had to walk a corridor just to go to the bathroom. The bathroom was nice and clean. Hotel is also located close to the main touristic sites. Overall, I had a nice stay in this hotel.

Dirty and expensive, long stairs with no life cause big problem for someone like me who has mobility needs. Location is good though.

Well placed in Florence
Well placed by the station and within good walking distance of various sights in Florence. Breakfast was continental and ample. My only reservation is the noise that emanates from the breakfast area very early in the morning with doors banging. We were in a room right next to the area.

The budget hotel for your stay in Florence. When you are going to stay a couple of days in Florence you need a place to sleep ,refresh and breakfast. This small hotel gave us excactly that. A very quiet place to sleep, Nice bathroom and a decent breakfast. Christina from the reception gave us a warm welcome and Made us feel at home . Highly recommended as a base to explore the crazy and beautiful city of Florence.

If you are planning a short stay in Florence and are looking for a convenient average hotel, Tourist House is a most appropriate option. Situated at the very center of the city, close to the railway station, it offers small, yet cosy rooms, with all the basic amenities you may require, along with a typical, light breakfast, and most polite treatment by the staff. Don't expect luxury, but for an affordable, short stay in the city center, this is definitely a highly suggested choice.

We needed an inexpensive night at good place in Firenze. This filled our needs perfectly. It's located near main railway station, and was just suitable. We had our room straight away when we arrived before noon, nad had opportunity to rest few minutes before heading to town. Room was very plain and small, but clean. One couldn't expect more for this price.
