I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The cleanliness was outstanding; everything felt fresh and well-maintained. I was especially impressed with the hair dryer – it worked even better than my personal one, which was a pleasant surprise. The balcony was spacious and provided a lovely spot to relax, adding a great touch to the room. Lastly, the staff were extremely polite and friendly, always ready to help with a smile. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this hotel!

Poor service. Upon sitting on the bench after a long tiring flight while my husband checked in, the front desk rep (white male) demanded I stand to check in….. they didn’t even validate my picture on passport so what was the point of that? Don’t ever do that to someone else who do you think you are?! Unfriendly, rude, and incompetent staff, disturbed our nap because apparently payment didn’t process…. Like….get it together. He proceeded to scold the other rep in front of me. How unprofessional. The room is mediocre. Trust the reviews, it’s not worth staying here. They had like 15 open rooms as I was able to see keys hanging on wall- speaks for itself. If I wasn’t tired I wouldn’t have stayed. I only stayed 2 hours for a nap now I’m back headed to my next flight since it was one of the closest hotels and no other had early check in available near airport. They are lucky I wasn’t in the mood today because I’m tired, but sir, if you’re reading this….. the bad reviews are equally because of your poor service, you’re disgusting. Check your attitude before someone else does for you !! And don’t bother replying to my review because your customer service/replies to these other clients are so rude and disrespectful, the customer is ALWAYS right.

Your response was expected so this little mouse’s’ point has been proven. Also, I’m white, and it’s called a “person description” look it up and educate yourself. I recently stayed at Hotel Golden Milano. At first, It seems nice condition of the room until we found out that the cover on the bed was not changed (smell perfume in 1 particular area during our stay, which was unsettling. Theres no intercom to call front desk and its been 2AM
Additionally, the washroom had a strong, foul odour that seemed to come out of nowhere. I didn't report the issue to the staff, but I hope the hotel will take steps to address these problems in the future. With some improvements to their housekeeping and maintenance, I think this hotel could be a nice place to stay.

We put up the DO NOT DISTURB SIGN on the door but still housekeeping knocked on our room.

Even though we were pleased with the location and room itself it’s save to say that I’ve never been treated with so much disrespect in a space I paid for.
On our last day in Milan my friend (who I shared the room with) had an accident and was rushed to the hospital. Another friend (who had accommodation elsewhere) and I went back to the hotel to arrange everything for the smoothest way of handling the situation. Within five minutes of arrival one staff member knocked on the door to investigate. He was already quite intrusive from the start, but we explained what was going on in the hope of being at least left alone. In the contrary he started to harass us from there on in an half an hour interval until late into the night with each interaction being more loudly aggressive. By then my barely mobile friend was carried into the hotel, so he also saw the full extent of the accident.
Instead of helpfulness, compassion or empathy we were met with verbal aggression and threatening body language. This continued the next morning around check out. And ended with him not wanting to open the electric gate for the people who were supposed to help my friend to get to the airport since she couldn’t walk.
Our already bad situation and stress level prompted the staff member to absolutely torment us in some sick power play. A behavior only being able to explain by a racist and homophobic motive. The staff severely contributed to making this medical emergency in a foreign country an absolute nightmare. Unless you’re white, straight and unafraid of emergencies I would not recommend this hotel!

After a 9-10 hour journey, I arrived at the hotel. I was tired, and my phone was low on battery. While my boyfriend was handling the check-in, I sat on the couch by the reception and plugged my phone into the outlet. We were going to drop off our belongings and head out, so I needed to charge it. The receptionist (tattoed guy) said, 'Did you ask for permission?' This was very unsettling. Why put a couch there in the first place? I don’t think it’s something I need permission for. Is this an Italian thing? It seems ridiculous.
Additionally, the bed linens in the room were not clean; there were strands of hair. I won’t be choosing this place again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! Restaurants and supermarkets nearby.
The location is not great. It takes about 45min to walk into the central parts of Milan. But there are restaurants and supermarkets near the hotel so that was good. The room has no comfort at all unfortunately. The bed is hard (which I prefer actually but I think most people will think it’s too hard), the pillows in the room for the bed are so thin that they are almost non existent, it was like sleeping directly on the mattress. The room was very humid for some reason, all the time, no ventilation what so ever. We had to open a window/balcony to get some air in the room and because of that it became cold in the room. Very bad smell from the bathroom all the time, probably the sewer. Didn’t matter if we flushed water in the sink and shower. To get warm water in the shower you had to flush water for at least 5minutes which felt like a total waste of water. Overall low comfort and the hotel needs some work.

Terrible experience. From staff not knowing anything to the facility falling apart. Lift/elevator didn't work and there's no way to cancel our stay with a full refund. It was very difficult for my elderly parents to get up and down 5 floors without even a railing to hold on to. I cant imagine what someone who is disable dealing with this experience. They didn't have any hotel staff to help with our luggages and the lack of care was very apparent. The restroom was incredibly smelly and when we complained, the staff lend us an air freshner for a few minutes before taking it again. Heater didnt work the first night and they kept on saying it has a timer and will turn on at night automatically, but it didnt. Wifi was also horrible and was so spotty that my international roaming data was better. They didn't even offer anything to compensate this bad experience and I really hope they improve or be honest about their facility upfront.

Booked 4 nights at Hotel Golden Milano from 19 to 23 Mar 2024. Was utterly disappointed with the room and service. Felt very insulted as we were allocated a room meant for handicapped when we are full able bodied people. Room was extremely small and old, with broken furniture. The service staff was extremely rude. It was such a bad experience that we checked out after 1 night and chose to forgo the balance 3 nights, although we had already paid in full. No refund was given and the staff made rude remarks upon our departure. This is the worst hotel in the world that I have ever encountered. Never again.

Sewage smell in one of our two rooms. After we pointed this out we were not offered an alternative room or any compensation whatsoever. Instead, we received tips about flushing in taps and showers and spraying with fragrance spray. None of this helped, and we had to stay in a room that smelled very bad.
The breakfast was extremely mediocre, and some details stood out, such as the fact that the juice was served in white disposable plastic cups.

If I could zero stars I would!! Save your money and do NOT stay here. The location is terrible; there is nothing to do in the area and it’s almost a half hour bus ride into the city centre. The manager is super mean and yells loudly. They purposely over charge on the tourist city tax. Only adults are supposed be charged per night but charged our two kids as well. Luckily I caught this and came back for the refund and at least they were compliant. However he was definitely aware of their actions and that they were scamming us out of 30+ euros. Lastly the rooms are awful. The doors don’t even fully close (you could literally see shadows of people passing by) and the walls were so thin we could hear the people next door coming home at 3 am everyday. Plus the air ventilation in our bathroom never even worked. We did not want to be berated by the manager so we did not bring up this issue during our stay. Safe to say our trip to Milan was awful because of this hotel. I would 100% not recommend.
