The hotel is good overall. The rooms are clean and functional, although a bit worn-out and in need of renovation. The location was good, and with parking spots on the street.
The breakfast was good, with various options. Staff was kind and helpful.

Disappointment. Reception lady Nadia was just rude, as if she was punished by working there- she doesn't even pronounce full sentences when talking to guests. Rooms not bad, but way below the usual Mercure standard. Mold in the shower, dirty carpet (we requested cleaning it- didn't get cleaned). Surprisingly breakfast area wasn't so full in the peak season, so we could eat comfortably. Good location. Overall overpriced, and definitely not living up to the declared standard.

Overall, we were happy with our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable, though the decor lacked charm. We especially enjoyed the breakfast—everything was of high quality.

Our story: We were on a cruise when we had an emergency requiring my wife to be hospitalized. Our port agent set us up in this hotel. The reception was welcoming and sympathetic. We had to switch rooms to accommodate incoming guests and they made the transfer easy and moved out luggage. A big surprise was the restaurant. Our dinners were very good and the chef surprised us with a special treat each day. The service and food is exceptional.

I chose the hotel with the best reviews in the price category that I was willing to spend. The hotel is very well located, simple, the furniture is worn and outdated, there are no minimal toiletries in the bathroom typical for a 4-star hotel. The bed is uncomfortable and only one card given to unlock the door. The shower is so small that I barely had room in it, the breakfast unspectacular. The staff is could be more friendly and the cleaning in the room although good, is incomplete. On the balcony table there is an ashtray with cigarette butts from previous customers even if it was a non-smoker room. Overall, the services are mediocre.

Greatly located just in the heart of old Palermo, and very quiet in the same time, serving very tasty breakfasts for all needs, spacious room (we opted for privilege one), and great views: see and mountain just in opposite directions.

The rooms deserve renovation. There were no visible signs to the elevators from the reception, it was a quest to find them. When we got into the room, the floor on the balcony was not cleaned and was covered with cigarettes' ash. We had to ask on the reception to make the balcony cleaning immediately. The blanket was not clean, though bed sheets were clean and fresh. TV is very small, the furniture is very old. Car parking is not possible, all steets nearby are full of cars and bikes. The reception staff was very friendly and polite, as well as ready to help with any request. Breakfast is good.

Great check-in experience despite late arrival. Front desk is very friendly. Valet service worked super well. Room is very nice and spacious. Looking forward to more.
