Artemisia Palace Hotel

This hotel is ideally situated in Palermo. We are a few hundred yards from the hop on hop off bus stop and about 15 minutes walk from the Tetro Massimo. The train station is also easily accessible and a few stops on the bus. Our original room was on the first floor and quite small and noisy, but we asked to be moved and we were moved to a suite on the top floor. Room 404 is definitely the room to ask for! it is very spacious with a balcony that goes around two sides and like every other room in the hotel, spotlessly clean. The breakfast room is small but adequate and there is a very wide choice of food. My friend is coeliac and there was a wide choice, for her in the hotel, as well as in most of the restaurants in Palermo. All the staff at the hotel are incredibly helpful and we would definitely visit again.

Loved staying here. It is located a walking distance from landmarks, the staff are very nice, discreet and helpful. The food is good, the coffee, of course, is any coffee lover's dream. And the rooms are very clean.

Clean, tidy, staff are friendly and helpful. Very welcoming. Delicious breakfast. It’s central to pretty much everything. Close to some great gelato, restaurants and cafes. A short walk to the hop on bus. And to some amazing adventures! Enjoy!

The street (even though the windows faced the side street and not Via Roma) was relatively loud, and the soundproofing in the building was not particularly good (we could hear our neighbors showering).

Our room always smelled of damp as soon as you closed the windows for 5 minutes - that was the worst part of the experience, as we couldn't sleep with the windows closed either.
