Hotel Barberini

The room was a typical size for Europe. Except there was a huge bathroom with a walk in shower. The roof top bar was a great end of the day spot to enjoy and a great view. Be sure and get reservations ahead of time if you want to sit outside on the roof.
There was a breakfast available for 20 Euros.
Extremely helpful staff at reception. You can buy your hop on hop off bus tickets at the front desk.

I recently stayed here for four nights. Pretty and well-managed property. The rooms are on the small side. But the service is excellent. The breakfast is a genuine treat. And the main hostess there, Laura, is exceptional— warm and efficient.

The staff is very welcoming, the rooms are very clean. The icing on the cake is the breakfast served by Laura, very attentive and kind, with her cappuccino served with love.

Hotel is an hour away from the airport but we did a package with pick up and drop off. Check in was super quick . They had our room done early so that was a great start already. When I opened the door to my room , it was so breath taking. It was so aesthetically pleasing. I fell in love ! We had a window that opens up so you can see and feel the wonderful weather. I found myself staring out for hours. Everything was clean well. The room did have a little weird smell I’m thinking it because of the rugs. Also I didn’t really like the shower. Water gets everywhere. But besides that everything was perfect. Room service comes every day bright and early to clean.

This place will always have a special place in our heart now. Samuele at the front with the glasses the best!! Everyone here is but he especially was so helpful with taxi’s, event planning, and mapping.

Nice hotel you may get different views but you can’t replace such good customer service at the bar and the front. Very close to the fountain without too much tourist traffic. Grazie Mille!!!!!

The hotel was fantastic, magnificent, and helpful. The room was marvelous, clean, and comfortable. All the employees were very helpful especially Samuele. Samuele helped us out immensely. He was sincere, knowledgeable, and attentive. He went out of his way to get our luggage, offered us comfort, and even called us a taxi to help us get to the airport. Then he took it another level and helped us get our luggage out to the front of the hotel and waited with us until the taxi arrived. Samuele is a solid employee at Hotel Barberini. We will definitely come back and stay at Hotel Barberini when we come back to Rome in the fall.

Really enjoyed our two night stay at hotel Barberini! We arrived early but our room was not yet ready, we were able to leave our bags, change in the bathrooms which were very clean and head off to explore Rome! The main thing we loved about this hotel was the location! Very close to the Trevi fountain and all of romes major attractions! We literally walked everywhere! The staff was very kind and when we came back in the afternoon our room was ready with our bags inside. The room is on the smaller side but perfect for two people and very nice and clean. The shower is on the smaller side and the walls are a little thin we could hear people walking and talking or staff vacuuming in the morning but at night it was nice and quiet! I think the shower and the noise in the morning were the only not so great things, other than that we loved our stay and would definitely stay again! We felt extremely safe!

Hotel staff was very kind, truly welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable. Rooftop bar has an amazing view. Location is also very good - walking distance from main attractions, with a tube station close by.
One thing I didn’t like is noise. When in the room we could hear everything from the hallway, and almost everything from the room next to us. Not a great experience when you try to relax after a long day and there is a family with screaming kids behind the wall, or you are weaken up by a slamming door.

Nice location and clean rooms -- plenty of restaurants and gelato places nearby -- our walk out balcony had a great view -- Family of four had enough space -- the pictures online were the exact room that we stayed in -- Thick curtain on the interior side of the room served to divide the sleeping space when we got up early and didn't want to wake up the kids with bedside lights. Most of the staff were very helpful except the evening front desk person that tried to offer an outrageously expensive taxi trip to FCO airport. Don't be misled by this staffer. The Barberini Square taxi stand is just down the hill (3 min walk) and there's a flat rate to the airport.

Great location, close to all sights and underground metro. Laura S. from breakfast was fantastic 😃 we loved her work ethic and kindness. Rooms are a little loud but dies down after 10pm - I had to use ear plugs.
