Boutique Hotel Galatea

Charming hotel, next to several restaurants and cafes, and within walkable distance to the Colosseo and Fontana di Trevi. Room is quite modern and decently sized. Staff were great, and we had a hand-written welcome card waiting for us in the room, signed by all of them, along with a bottle of wine!

The hotel is a bit hard to find it, though. When I arrived, I had to tailgate through the main gate, as there was no instruction on how to get in at night.

Well located Hotel! Réception team are all very nice, smiling and welcoming. They gave us some good tips to visit the city which was much appreciated. Special mention to Davide at breakfast, very polite, attentive and professional. I will recommand your hôtel for sure. Grazie Mille a tutti

American here! Stayed in room 301 which was a standard double room. We were only here for about 8 hours as we were coming in from Venice and leaving for a flight the next morning.

The front desk person was absolutely fabulous. Helpful, well spoken, cheers to him!

Our room was average. It’s small. It did have a small balcony which was cute. The bathroom is even smaller and needs updating. Absolutely zero room to put anything on bathroom countertop. The shower had an accordion style glass door, fiberglass bottom, and I felt like I was showering in a motorhome. Looks like it was from the 80s, maybe early 90s. The water pressure was good, water was hot and drained well. The towels looked a little dingy and not bright white.

The bed was alright. Nothing to write home about. Pillows were definitely older.

To get into the hotel (if checking in) you must buzz the front desk via a button to the left of the large gate. They’ll let you in. Then go through the fresco, to the hotel entrance on the left. There are about 4 steps to get you to the elevator to the third floor where the hotel actually is.

This was fine for the price but probably wouldn’t stay here again.

The highlight of the stay were the staff , the receptionist and the whole staff were wonderful , one of the best that we spoke with in italy . Really helpful and very cheerful we really liked them .

So the rooms were good but the level of cleanliness was why i gave this 8 instead of a perfect 10 . I felt that the restroom and the room should have been cleaned more thoroughly .

Lovely hotel and convenient location, would definitely stay again. I booked a single room which was perfect for me and had everything I needed, bed was comfy too. They even have free activities everyday! I did the night walk to the castle which was awesome. Staff were extremely kind and even made me a breakfast to go since I had an early flight. Train to airport is about a 15 min walk and all other major attractions within ~20min. I would just suggest to add some type of water station and clearer directions on how to get to entrance through gate.

Great experience! The hotel is perfectly located close to all tourist sites. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, a curious thing to be in the center of Rome. Very complete breakfast. I want to highlight the kindness of the staff who make your stay very pleasant. If I return to Rome I would like to stay there again!

My friend and I stayed at the Boutique Hotel Galatea for 4 days. We had a wonderful experience due to the incredibly good service, kind and helpful employees and the amazing location of the Hotel. We were able to easily walk to the Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum, the Spanish Step and many other sights. The Hotel itself had a wonderful vibe to it and was decorated very nicely so you immediately feel comfortable once you’ve checked in. A highlight for us was the gorgeous balcony where you can eat your breakfast. I can’t wait to be back at this Hotel and I can definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to go see Rome!

From start to finish, staff at this hotel were so friendly and efficient. We initially met with Pricilla, the Receptionist, on arrival. She was fantastic, full of information, etc. The breakfast staff, (unfortunately did not get their names but they were a young lad and girl) were brilliant and helpful. The rooms were clean and suited our needs. The hotel itself is ideally situated. Would definitely recommend it.

A really excellent hotel! It had everything that you need. Very clean, comfortable bed, great breakfast and very quiet despite our worries being in the center of Rome. The rooms are looking towards an inner courtyard so it is rather quiet. Only slight noise in the morning around 7:00 when they prepare the breakfast but not too much. They try to be quiet. Exceptionally kind staff! The location is excellent and seemed safe. 7 min walk from metro station and 10 min to Trevi.
