Upon arrival we were met with courteous and friendly staff who showed us to our room. Our room was a luxury double and we couldn’t have been happier, the bed was so comfortable and I think we have had our best nights sleep in a long time. The restaurant staff were extremely helpful in adapting their 5 course menu to meet with my dietary needs. The food exceeded our expectations and was matched perfectly...

We loved every minute of our 4 night stay at Sofitel Roma Villa Borghese. The entire staff was very accommodating to us and made our stay nice. The rooms are extremely comfortable - automatic blinds, televisions in every room including the bathroom mirror, and luxurious beds. Great housekeeping services, too - turn down service, daily cleaning, and complete resetting of all the amenities each day....

I loved the hotel, it's location, the restaurant was excellent. But I paid 300 extra euro per night for an upgrade to a premium luxury room with balcony and I cannot imagine a smaller room. I've visited Italy several times. Most recently, I decided to expend my Expedia points to stay here and treat myself to a "5 star" location. 100% Worth it. The location is incredible - you are a 30 second walk to the Trevi fountain at the heart of Rome. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The service is amazing. I loved this hotel so much. Perfect location, convenient to walking to all the top sites. Trevi fountain was literally steps away. I went for an aperitif at the hotel’s roof top restaurant The staff were welcoming and overwhelmingly courteous. The view overlooking the forum and the war memorial of pz Venezia was enough to take your breath away. Drinks and accompanying food were excellent. I will be back for a full course dinner.

A bit outdated furniture and bed, but the bathroom was newly renovated. The good thing is room is very clean and room service did a great job everyday. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Very close to touristic areas and attractions. We mostly walked to everywhere and no need for any means of transportation.

What a great place to stay! Very close to many attractions and the manager Peter was the best! The top floor breakfast was great with an awesome view. Exactly what you need it to be. Clean rooms and in a good location for the tourist hotspots. Unfortunately WiFi connection was poor for us on third floor and breakfast had a very limited choice but we didn't spend a whole lot of time in the hotel due to sightseeing.

It is the most affordable hotel near Central. I think it does everything I ask for, including working ac, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, breakfast services. I enjoyed my three days living here. Clean comfortable and relatively spacious room for the price. Great location and helpful staff. Our pillows in the room were just to overstuffed and when we asked for flatter pillows they immediately brought them. Beds were comfortable and the location could not have been better. The room has a musty smell. The shower is very small. If a person is more than 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall and weighs more than 200 lbs (91 kg), he/she will have a difficult time washing himself/herself.

There was a closed door between my room and the next one. My neighbors were constantly having sex and everything was perfectly audible through the door. The street was also a little noisy, but this is due to the location of the hotel almost in the center of Rome.

We stayed at the Hotel Lirico for a week and found the room to be clean and tidy. The room was cleaned every day. The continental breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. My personal experience there was wonderful. Andrea and his staff were very hospitable, and helpful. I can't remember her name but the lady who handles the breakfast during the week was just wonderful. She made me so many delicious cappuccinos, gratis! Perfect location and good prices of you want to be in the middle of everything Roman. I'll stay there again if I can ever get back to Italy.

Couldn't ask for a better spot in Rome for the money. The rooms were clean and comfortable, while the staff made you feel welcome. Much older building, with freshly renovated rooms, offers the convenience of being centrally located.
