Since the hotel is near the airport, the taxi charge from downtown Rome was €55 (the fixed charge). The hotel is 13 km (9 miles) from the airport. We were upgraded to a junior suite for our anniversary which was nice but the room was in the very backside of the hotel and far from the elevator. We were put into an offsite apartment that was not as nice as the main hotel for sure. Old lady who works at main hotel was super rude. Bathroom had a smell of urine the entire time, the phone to hotel didn’t work and the area was noisy.

It was close to Termini Station and easy to get to anywhere. I checked in around 9pm. When I opened the window, I could see the Santa Maria Church right in front of me. Quiet and comfortable hotel This is a very comfortable hotel which is close to the airport. It is perfect for one night stay when your flight landed at the airport too late. The only issue is the Spa and sauna which was closed but appeared to be available on the hotel introduction.

Overall the stay was nice enough when you’re not spending lots of time in the hotel. Walking around the room even after a cleaning and from the day we arrived got your feet very dirty and no door on the shower left the room easily soaked.

The hotel is in a good location for the Vatican but not very good for anything else. The staff are lovely and very helpful but the rooms are very old and quite run down. The “gym” can’t even be classified as such and there wasn’t even complimentary water in the fridge. It’s not a cheap hotel either, the quality/price ratio is very poor. I wouldn’t stay here again.
