My family and I were interested in going to the Garden Roof Trevi for a cocktail after a long day of sightseeing. We had noted this was a place where we wanted to go for weeks prior to our trip, because we wanted to get a good view of the Trevi, even while it was in disrepair. We walked in and asked the gentleman at the front desk if we could go up for a drink. He noted that it would be 75 euros (25 euro per person) for us just to go to the rooftop and our drinks would be additional on top of it - and that they would only take cash, not credit card. Yes, we asked multiple times, and this would not go to our drinks, this would be a surcharge for us to pay before we spent money on drinks. We clarified this with him multiple times as this is not noted on the website. To add insult to injury to what made us really think this was a scam, there was a woman sitting at the front desk with this gentleman who was snickering at us the whole time. We walked out, not interested in spending this exorbitant amount of money to have a few glasses of wine on a rooftop overlooking a fountain that is not in commission. We elected to go elsewhere. This was definitely a low point in our trip. Do not recommend unless you want to get scammed

We love everything about this hotel! Our room was cleaned daily, the friendliest staff in the hotel, houekeeping, bell man and the bar staff- everyone made our experience excellent! Conveniently located close to Trevi fountain, pantheon, spanish steps - and within walking distance to shopping and food places. We loved this hotel for our Rome honeymoon. Highly recommend! Book now!

The rooms were very small and need some maintenance. Lots of stairs and a very small elevator. However, the staff were wonderful, everyone across the board were friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic, loads of restaurants, bars and gelato stores as well as gift shops and of course the famous Trevi Fountain on the doorstep! We loved our time here.

Excellent location, right at the Trevi Fountain! Close to all attractions, short walk to Barberini metro station. Many restaurants and shops at the door step, small grocery store at the end of the street. Room was huge, had a King bed and one extra bed, you could separate the king bed into 2 double beds I think. Room had a huge bathroom, all newly renovated. Had coffee maker, kettle to boil water for tea, cups and fridge. Noisy street, close the window you will be fine, BUT remember, hotel is in the middle of one of the most visited attractions in Rome, so it's not going to be quite! There are steps before you get to the reception area/elevator. Leave your bags someone will help you to bring it up. Super friendly staff, hotel does not have a lobby, sitting area, no frills. Super clean and comfortable. Has a roof top Bar with the view of Trevi Fountain. I was told it's expensive, but didn't ask the prices.

To get to reception you need to climb 2 flights of steps. I attached pictures! You can take the 2 passenger elevator from reception to other floors. One receptionist was extremely useless and nasty. The others were very nice and helpful. You can see the Trevi from the VERY tiny rooftop bar only from 2 tables which are wedged in the corner!! It was comical. The room was ok but the bathroom was EXTREMELY narrow that you cannot even turn around. Don't waste your money.

We loved the location of this hotel. It is in a busy area but being right by the Trevi fountain (easy to get early morning photos before it gets busy) and very close to the Spanish steps, Pantheon and lots of dining options was a plus for us because we had short walks to everything. We had a triple room and found the rooms to be very spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable and liked that one of the beds was in a little area by itself so there was some privacy in the room. The air conditioning and WIFI worked great. There are lots of steps to get to the reception desk but once there you can take a small elevator to your room and of course they have staff to help with luggage to get to the street level. Would recommend if you want to be in the heart of everything!

Disgusting. Literally the most disgusting hotel ever. You can tell that they don't clean the carpets, comforters, towels, and silverware. I had to ask them three times to bring new blankets because the ones we had have stains on them. You would think 1200 for three days the hotel would be cleaner. Not to mention they gave me a room right next to their bar so all you can hear all night long is glasses clinking. The elevator randomly shakes like it’s broken. The only good thing is it’s close to the trevi fountain but you cant even see it from your room. Not worth the filth.

While at your hotel, I experienced the following issues/inconveniences:
*Breakfast was served in our room during our stay and not on the roof terrace.
*The air conditioning was inoperable for the entire first night of our stay.
*There were several bugs (dead and alive) in the room - including the bed.
*The bathroom smelled like raw sewage.
*Our room door stuck and was repeatedly difficult to open.
When I went to the front desk to relocate to a different room, the only accommodation available was for two people. I needed accommodations for 3 people so your efforts (while appreciated) were fruitless.
As a result of the above, I am requesting to be charged for only 1 night. I feel this is a reasonable request. Your hotel is not inexpensive and did not come close to meeting our expectations. If it cannot be honored, then I will be forced to take additional measures.

Lovely location adjacent to the Trevi Fountain, very close to lots of shopping. The room was modern and clean and the servie was spectacular. I broke the handle off my suitcase and asked to borrow a small screwdriver to fix it and they offered to work on it themselves, returning my repaired suitcase to our room later in the day.
Additionally, the breakfast was perfect, overlooking the fountain from a rooftop lounge. The food selection was tasteful and carefully laid, with plenty of Tortes, Cornetti, and other pastries to choose from. The staff are extremely friendly and brought us several cappuccinos every morning.
One thing to look out for is that the floors are not terribly handicap friendly. There are hallways in between landings, so the elevators essentially only stop at every other floor. Other than that, it's an amazing hotel experience!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Relais Fontana Di Trevi. The location was perfect, the staff were fantastic, as well as the service. The room was comfortable and spacious. The reasons why I gave this place an overall rating of 4 instead of 5 was based on two issues. The website states that they have an elevator but fails to state that it is actually located on the second floor. This presented a challenge for having mobility issues. Second, although the rooftop cafe has an amazing view and the food and service were great, it is also open to the public. This wasn't really a major issue for breakfast but for lunch and dinner, the elevator is bogged down with people who are not staying there. The elevator was slow and could only hold two people at a time. This caused wait times to use the elevator to get to our room. The other thing about this issue is that access to the cafe is through the third floor and our room was right next to the cafe. The constant noise from the running of the cafe bathroom hand dryer and the people standing in the hallway waiting for a seat was very annoying.
We would definitely stay there again but would ask to be on a lower floor. We were in room 307. Great value and great location.
