Housed in a Palace built in the 15th century the Palace CA d'oro and Rialto bridge, declared a National monument. In the dance halls of remarkable works of art among which paintings are vibrant representatives of Venetian paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries, top artists Sebastiano Ricci, Giambattista Tiepolo, Niccolo bambini and Pietro Longhi. Well-equipped rooms and apartments, which offer beautiful views of the Grand canal, Palazzo CA d'oro, Palazzo Santa Sofia and the historical Rialto market.
Location: in a quiet corner of Venice, just 7 minutes ' walk from Rialto bridge, 15 minutes walk from St Mark's Basilica, 15 km from the airport.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the service was exemplary, the friendliness of all the team from the reception, to the dining team and the housekeeping team was superb and we were made to feel incredibly welcome and looked after. The hotel is beautiful, having breakfast in a room decorated with frescos and ceiling pictures was stunning. Thanks to all at the Ca' Sagredo for a relaxing stay we look forward to coming back.

All of the front desk staff, including Nicola, Samuel, Riccardo and bellman Ronaldo, plus the housekeeping and breakfast staff members were all very kind and helpful. The hotel room was beautifully furnished, quiet, and even allowed a partial view of the canal. Breakfast is one of the best I've had in either North America or Europe. Would like to stay here again soon.

Nice hotel, but after ordering room service of sea bass, I got food poisoning. Restaurant manager would not believe me even after maitre carried out my puke two hours after I ate and went to instead play Dr and say I was sick in bed due to the weather. I assume this made up report was from the non-English speaking employees. Despicable!

Do not book this hotel! This hotel is not by any means a five star hotel but charges the high end of five star. The photos on their site do not reflect reality. The room we were given was not what we had booked and they claimed they had no other rooms available. The room they assigned us was dirty and the furniture worn and beat. We left for a nicer hotel at almost half the price. While we didn’t stay they have billed me anyway for the full stay. The positive reviews are confusing.

An old and tired hotel. We stayed in a jr. Suite that was pretty, but not at all clean. When we checked in there were “spots” around the toilet - they were still there when we left. The carpets are shabby and tripping hazards. Breakfast was nothing to rave about. The housekeeping is spotty, at best. Poor quality linens and towels and linens were not changed daily - the housekeeping actually picked up wet towels and rehung them.

The decorations are marvelous (see pics).
Bad:
- Only one standard EU power outlets if you don't unplug lamps. Three if you unplug lamps. The rests are all old Italian style with smaller holes. And all the power outlets are so close to the floor that we have to put devices on the ground.
- The shower head is so old that the water goes in many different directions.
- Wifi is too weak to be connected
- Poor soundproof. Our room faces the grand canal and we can hear sounds from the ferry, people yelling, etc.
Everything else is good. Nice room, great view, convenient location.
Service is good too. Except I expect someone to collect our luggage at the front door for a 5-star hotel but it didn't happen. Maybe it's just an Italian tradition so I won't complain about it.

This was one of the worst experiences - the hotel is not 5 star quality. The wifi and AC both didn't work in our room. While staff were incredibly nice and got us fans and said it would need to be fixed in the morning, management in the morning was a completely different experience. Such a bad experience we booked another hotel and left for our second night. Read my other reviews to see, this is my only 1 star review. I travel all the time and stay in all types of hotels from hostel to 5 star. This was NOT 5 star and NOT worth the cost. Go elsewhere!

The hotel does not correspond to 5 stars. Equipment, rooms, services are not at the level of 5 stars. Unfortunately, the prices are at the level of 5 stars. If you want a 5 star hotel, I don't recommend it

WARNING: This is not a 5 star hotel. It is listed as a 5 star hotel in many places but I would honestly give it a 2 star rating. The staff were friendly. It is located in Venice which is a very old world city. And its prices are sometimes low and reasonable value. But, as it is listed as a 5 star hotel many booking websites highly inflate the price and I don't want anyone else to make the same mistake my travel agent did. When I asked the management upon check-in to cancel they informed me I could with a late cancellation fee of 100% 🤦
I see the other reviews here and am honestly bewildered at how they're giving it high reviews (see the photos I have attached). My guess is they are fake reviews.
The decor is very aged and worn, not a dollar has been spent on it for many many years being very dark internally with a stale and musty smell in the common areas and rooms.
