Rooms are very compact. You’ve got to be tidy to stay sane! However for the price it was as to be expected. Clean. Comfy beds. International plug socket.
Shower and toilet is small. If your a big person you’ll struggle.
However good location, short walk to Bugis malls, and some great places to eat.
Staff where fine, had to remind them about my welcome drink (Allcor member).
Pool is nice, open air, nice and cool.
Didn’t use restaurant but appeared to have nice outdoor area.
Didn’t notice any noise but then I’m hard of hearing and I don’t hear a thing 🤣

Stayed for 4 nights. They always change and clean up the room. The facilities are clean. Check in and check out are both efficient. Best is, near bugis area. Near places to eat good food and shop.

I have stayed for 5 days in the hotel.
This is worst hotel I have ever went.
Ac for my room was not working.
Rooms is very very small even after upgrade.
Room phone is not working.
Hotel service is too bad.
The worst breakfast ever. They are taking 20$ for breakfast and there is nothing in the menu.
On my check-in, they told me we are upgrading my room as complimentary. On checked-out they charged me for the upgraded. Very cheap guy’s.
So please be cautious when you anyone booking the hotel.

Was staying one night at the loft room, which has a nice design. However, walls are thin and not sound proof. If you are a light sleeper, you need to sleep with earplugs. Next to my door, someone had music on at around 2am and 5am and I couldn't sleep. I was trying to reach the reception, but no success. I went by myself and asked politely at 5.30am.
Positive thing, i was able to get 30 min extra for late check out.
Overall, as a light sleeper, i would not recommend it.

The location is very convenient - it's near to a lot of bus stops and train stations, a decent hawker center (Albert Food Center), money changers with decent rates, a 7/11, and shops.
The room is tiny though but the loft type set up helped make some additional space.
We got a really good deal through Accor Plus.

The room and location were good. Unusual layout with the bathroom sink in the room and the shower and toilet in their own glass walled rooms, but it worked fine for us. The rooftop area and the pool were beautiful. The privilege lounge was small, but when we were there it was quiet, so there were no problems. The breakfast room was too small and cluttered. The only problem we experienced was being locked out of our room in our swimming gear, because our keys hadn't been programmed to reflect our late checkout. We would definitely stay again.

Overall I just love staying in Mercure Bugis. Love the ambience, the art and the interior design of all the rooms. I already stayed twice in the loft room and once in the standard room. The breakfast also good enough. I also love the pool, but the last time I came, the whirlpool was not working. Besides the hotel ambience, I also love the surrounding, near the Bugis market, Bugis Junction, Bugis mall, Albert park... Just love staying here and will surely come again soon. Anyway, the bathroom is so small.

Paid for executive suite and to enjoy the executive experience only to know that my kids are not allowed into the executive lounge as they are under 12 years old. If there is such a clause, it should be cleared stated in the website before we pay for it. Understand that other guests might prefer quiet dining, however, there should be a separate area allocated for family with kids who paid for the facilities.
Air condition at the upper deck was terrible as the ventilation was bad. Turning up the air conditioner didn't work either as it became bit too cold in the night. :(

Could be a very good hotel if it didn't lack some basic details.
First and foremost they should rethink the bathroom doors with a plastic rim that makes it impossible to open the right way once it has been slightly worn out. My toilet door would open inwards and it was a mission to use the loo.
Other small things like amenities not being replaced and staff not telling you if you could have breakfast or not was also annoying.
