Peninsula Excelsior Hotel in Singapore

Rooms were terrible, bed sheet was not cleaned properly didn't even change it. I left my pouch in the room during checkout and when I went back to get it, money was missing! Overall, dishonest staff, cleanliness was not up to standard, wouldn't stay in here again.

At first, everything seemed fine. We got our room and decided to go out and explore. Came back and all we wanted was to shower. We noticed the water was barely luke warm so we informed the front desk. They said they would inspect the water boiler and for us to check 25 minutes later. We checked.. still cold. Called again, and they said to wait another ten minutes. We did.. still cold. Called a third time, and they told me the water was out for the entire tower on our side. Apparently, they knew about the problem before putting us in the room, but still put us there because we had reservations months in advance, rather than putting us in a different room with running hot water. We literally had to hassle them to change rooms, and turns out we weren't the only ones with the problem. We were lucky that we notified them early on or they would've turned us away because everyone else after us couldn't seem to get new rooms in the working tower. They gave us a nicer room to accommodate us for the rest of our stay, but rest assure.. we won't be booking here again.

Terrible hotel!!! Dirty, smelly! The smell of dampness, as if we live in slums! Avoid this rooming house.
