This hotel was very nice, very central and felt very homely. The rooms were decorated very nicely but a big problem for me was the outlet placement? There are no outlets close to your bed to charge your phone and I had to leave my phone on the other side of the room to charge like a peasant. Everything is walking distance. Great nightlife nearby. The pool was also very good.

We enjoyed our stay at De Lanna Hotel. Excellent location in the old town of Chiang Mai with many good restaurants and spas nearby. There was only warm water in the shower for the first two days, but on the third day, the water was hot enough.

When I booked, it mentioned including breakfast but ended up we have to pay additional 500 baht for two breakfasts.

We stay beside the stairs...noisy and bad smell…

The room was clean,but the electrical system is quiet old.No charging point near the bed.To charge your phone one has to put it near the TV socket or the hot water kettle socket.No master switch to switch off all lights at one go.
The most important point here is that when you are making a reservation specifically mention not to allot you room number 109,110 and 111 ( first 3 rooms starting from the reception side)because these rooms are 5 meters opposite the garden which the hotel uses for open air dining and drinking.
People eating and drinking there can look right into your bedroom till your bathroom.So 24/7 you have to keep your curtains drawn and use the electric light.You cannot get natural light.So it's either your privacy or the view with the sunlight.
Then from morning people come there sit and chat and laugh..So you are at the mercy of these people as to how early in the morning the noise shakes you out of the bed
Staff is very cooperative but helpless.Restaurant is neat and clean.Location is marvelous.

Pleasant hotel but more like a 3 star. The breakfast is not worth including, it’s not good & there’s various nice brunch spots nearby. The honeymoon suite is also super loud, the air conditioning and fans make lots of noise at night

the air conditioner is very ******* noise and I cannot sleep well at night so I cancelled the final night and I booked another hotel in agoda. Don’t ******* book this noise hotel.
