The hotel is located directly on Kata beach. Decorated in a modern Thai style. Within walking distance from the hotel to the main area of Kata Bay where many bars, shops and cafes. Recommend to solo travelers and couples without children.

Location: 60 km from airport, 12 km from the coast of Patong, in a small village on the West coast of Phuket, in Kata Bay, on the beach. .
Consists of two 4-storey buildings.
Total area: 12140 m2.
The hotel has 275 rooms.
Beach: public, sandy beach 30 m away, the first coastal line. Umbrellas, sunbeds, mattresses – for a fee, towels – free of charge. The beach is 2 km away.

We had a pool vew room which opened onto the poolside which was clean, nice and spacious, with a second inner room for my daughters bed. Resort is clean, well serviced and in a good location. Pool great for kids and easy access to the beach. Nice range of foods at Breakfast buffet and regularly restocked. Poolside bar handy for lunch and drinks, if a little understaffed. Hotel evening restaurant fine but it's easy to walk to alternative dining via the beach or road if you want a bit more life. Only vague downside was some guests on all inclusive attempting to drink the bar dry being a bit noisy but that's not the hotels fault and they were not too imposing.

We really enjoyed our time at this resort. The location is great. Absolute beach frontage and nice village with local food shops. The food at the resort was really good and the pool and rooms were also good. The atrium is spectacular and the band in the evenings were top class.

We booked an ocean view room, and it was fabulous, nice and clean, and very spacious. The resort is clean and tidy and close to shops and restaurants. The only negatives would be that the resort is extremely slippery after it's rained, so be extra careful and that the pool swim up bar never actually had staff there and you'd be waiting 15/20mins for the staff to come around.
Buffet breakfast had a lot of variety and was nice and fresh.
Staff were friendly and polite, We would choose to stay here again.

The hotel is located at a convenient location for food, massage, night market. We stayed at this hotel for trying out surfing, and the surfing lesson area are right on the beach side of the hotel. The room is spacious just a little bit of smell when we walked in. After few min of air cond it was fine. The breakfast is good, just the table is a bit odd. It is an older hotel but maintained well. Good for its price and location. Hotel charges extra for kids over 4 yrs old not 12.

This hotel is ideally located for shopping and walking about. Close to the local bus (Smart Bus) pick-up point. The room was spacious and the aircon was working it's magic. Loved the sea-view. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed our breakfast (included in our package). We had an absolutely fantastic spa-treatment within the hotel. For our wedding anniversary, the room was decorated picture perfect and the complimentary cake was very nice. We could not find fault with anything. If you want to look through a magnifying glass and look for faults, you will probably find some, but surely, if you are on vacation, enjoy yourself and be positive and joyful. Thanks Beyond Kata, our holiday was absolutely fantastic, we hope to see you soon again.

I would prefer a less busy, or smaller number of rooms, hotel. A hotel where you can interact with the staff and they can become a part of the experience. I don’t want to rush to reserve a sunbed then to sit so close to the next person. I like beachfront but I also want an amazing pool area where staff want to come to you and serve you a drink or Thai food. This area is in a high tourist zone. Rooms were big and adequate. This is an all inclusive resort so the buffets were fine but not exciting.

Absoutely loved our 7 night all inclusive stay at Beyond Kata. The location is perfect on the beach front and pool area is great.
The staff are amazing and work incredibly hard. They had to put up with rude and disrespectful guests which we observed regularly during our stay that makes their job even harder and they should be commended on their professionalism in dealing with them.
Lastly the 3 piece nightly band in the forecourt were outstanding! The two sisters and their father are fantastic entertainers and are incredibly talented. They sang songs in multiple languages with a smile and had the guests dancing!
We will be back!

Great location, ocean facing rooms are very good, food was always top notch. Sunsets are amazing!!
Food and beverage staff lack enthusiasm...we often had to seek out staff to actually get any service. (If you're on an all inclusive package, don't expect the drinks to be coming regularly.)
Beer needs to be colder!!....store it on ice!!

One of the best hotels I’ve ever been to (and I travel frequently), the price-performance ratio is absolutely adequate and it is worth staying here even for a few days. Rooms are specious and nicely furnished, you can find everything that’s needed for a good stay there. Breakfast is rich, freshly cooked and tasty, even coffee from the coffee machine was great. Pool is exceptional, clean, beautiful and refreshing. Love it!

Very slow service in all areas. All chairs are wooden slates and no cushions even at night so hard and uncomfortable in all area including rooms shame as you don't want to sit on them for long. food buffet style very nice and fresh. staff friendly and helpful mostly.
Sunbeds plenty strict rules notice everywhere including room no reservation before 9am you have to occupy or they will remove towels and your things
