Avalon Beach Resort

The room are ok, but the colour outside on the chair's and the small table are old.
When checking out, we waited for the bill for the minibar etc. The suitcases were on the floor with us for about 3 minutes, a hotel employee was also standing there for the whole 3 minutes, enough time to put the suitcases on his cart and take them to the car, then we did it ourselves.
What is not okay is that guests on the ground floor reserve the lounge chairs with their towels, even though they have a balcony directly behind the pool. Guests on the 2nd or 3rd floor had to be lucky to find a free lounge chair; many of the lounge chairs simply had a towel on them but no one came to sit on them.
This is not the hotel's fault, but the character of the guests.

The hotel is well maintained. The staff are friendly, but only a few are able to speak English appropriately. The rooms were clean, dust is rarely found, not even in the air conditioning. BUT, different rooms have a moisture problem and mold!

We have always chosen to stay at this hotel since we found it newly opened over 1-2 decades ago. We like the various choices of breakfast which change daily; except the American breakfast dishes. Even if the team of the staff, except the chef, was entirely changed, the food, the atmosphere etc. are the same; some receptionists looks unfriendly, unlike some of the previous team, but the waiters and the waitresses were friendly and helpful. As time goes by, things get deteriorated, however, the wooden floor surrounding the pool should be repaired. Otherwise, one day soon those nails would come up/off and cause accident. This time we got a family room which was very spacious. The bathroom was big too but the slope of the shower floor is not right and causes water from the shower staying on the opposite corner of the drainage. The tv set is just too far from the bed and if we make the volume high, it would disturn the next connecting room. What disturbed us was that we heard water flushed/flowing from time to time, even during the middle of the nights. After all we are happy to be back and stay here.

This is a lovely property on the beach in Jomtien. First, it's an easy walk with luggage from the bus stop direct from Suvarnabhumi Airport. The pool is huge as are the rooms and breakfast was great. Definitely worth a visit if you want the quieter atmosphere of Jomtien and the convenience of the direct bus from the airport.

The place had this chill vibe, with palm trees swaying and soothing music playing in the background. My room was cozy, with a balcony overlooking the pool, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.

My fiancee and I stayed at Avalon Beach Resort Pattaya for 12 nights.

This resort exceeded our expectations in every way!

We stayed in the 'deluxe pool view' room.
The room was huge and the balcony also a decent size. We were surprised to be on the 4th floor which also included an ocean view!

The cleaners did an exceptional job, cleaning and making up our room and replenishing our toiletries daily and were always friendly when passing in the hallway.

The breakfast was amazing, a variety of Thai dishes that changed daily as well as the staples. There was a salad bar as well as a bread and pastry station, a coffee machine and juice options AND a egg station where there is a selection of options to choose from which is then cooked infront of you.

The morning staff in the resturant and pool were fantastic and were the overall favourite part of our stay.
English was limited good enough to have a laugh and a conversation, with the help of google translate. We also tried out best to learn a few Thai words.

The pool is incredible, so large and cleaned every morning and maintained throughout the day

The restaurant meals were delicious everytime we ate there for dinner. There is a great selection of Thai and international cuisine available to satisfy all cravings.

The location of this resort is perfect if you plan on doing activities and day trips! With most actities within 15 - 20 minutes via car.

12 nights was really not enough at this resort, and we cannot wait to tell everyone we know to stay here when holidaying in Thailand.
