The badest hotel I ever stayed in in my hole life, the receptionist are very rude attitude when dealing with visitors, the only good thing I experienced in the hotel is the Mama thai maid, they don’t give you extra water if you are thirsty, I don’t recommend Mera Mare Pattaya hotel to anyone looking to stay in Pattaya city. I review it as a very bad hotel experience in my hole life 👎👎👎

Horrible front desk officer by the name of Aoy. We had booked connecting rooms as had small kids, but she categorically refused. Asked for an extra key for the kids room so i can check on them - Aoy bluntly said go and talk to the manager. The Manager was of course not available at around 5.30 PM.

The manager came up next day - she was undoubtedly helpful and considerate. She arranged for the extra key and also arranged for interconnecting rooms the next day.

My toddler felt sick and threw up - the Hotel charged THB 1800 for deep cleaning fee - this was a medical situation and not a deliberate or negligent act. However, the staff was adamant that this needs to be paid. Again, the manager intervened and reduced this to THB 1200.

Overall, a hotel with heartless service and rude front desk staff. The security staff at the gate was very kind and the manager was a good person indeed. The rooms are good and the location very good.

stayed 6 days. real nice hotel. great view as you walk out the main door. real nice rooms. staff were nice. good security. i will stay again in the future. 2 mins to the beach across the road. never had breakfast so i wouldn't know. cafe amazon is just up the road about 5 mins.. easy access to everything including soi6 if that's your thing.

They hound you for every penny. Order food, there's someone at the door expecting a payment before you eat. Lol you can't even charge it to the room. They make you pay for ice!.. Can you believe that? You're better off bringing your own towels & wash cloths 😁. Because if anything goes wrong with the ones they provide, you will be charged more than they're worth. Be careful

I will put in bullet form my experiences in this hotel.

1.When I arrived at 2:00 PM exactly my check in time, they have informed that the room is not available yet, which is okay, so I went out to have lunch first and when I checked and entered the room, I was so disapointed as the room smells very dirty. The bedroom slippers were dirty, side tables were dusty and even the bathroom counters. This is very frustrating as I have booked above average hotel which more expensive than the other hotels nearby.
2.When I told them that the room was dirty they have called staff and they seem so not friendly as they're frustrated that I have complaint, however, after they have cleaned when I went out, they have cleaned the room but the smell was still there.
3.For check out I have ask them if I can check out by 1PM, they asked me if I can check out by 12PM , and I insisted to have it at 1:00 pm but will try my best to go before that. SO DISSAPOINTED again as they have checked me in late and they wont allow me to checkout late as well same time as they asked me to wait for the room that wasn't clean at all. I have the pictures of the room and if you would like me to send please let me know.

The property is located just opposite to the beach. But the staff is extremely rude. The reception staff raised their voice to issue a duplicate key. The hotel staff is extremely unprofessional and not at all flexible. There were no Vegetarian options (expect fruits) in breakfast and the staff would not let us fill milk bottle for infant. They kept on saying that we can't fill bottle of milk (they weren't ready to accept the fact that infant can't drink milk through their cup). On our last day they refused giving us milk in cups and said if we want milk to fill bottle, then they would charge us 200 THB.

Also, there will be no staff in the hotel (expect for 1 receptionist) post 9 PM. So if you need a balnket/ towel or need something cleaned, you will have to plan your needs in advance.

The Wi-Fi service in this hotel will not connect

One of the worst hotels ever. I booked this hotel via Agoda and had requested for a King bed or double twin but here l'm given 2 single beds. It was my wedding anniversary and also my birthday. When I tried explaining to the staff, I kept getting the same answer, "hotel is fully booked". We requested for double bed, the reply was, "hotel is fully booked". We requested even pleading at some point, if we could get a room on a higher floor, again the answer came back,
"we
are fully booked". The whole room is unclean. There is no one to open the doors for you, we had really heavy luggage but there was no one at entrance to help us with our luggage. The staffs are extremely rude and they will just walk away irregardless of whether you are still talking to them. The windows had stains and the only thing they promised me was a cake to celebrate my birthday. That too the hotel staff just mentioned it in front of me. The phone doesn't seem to be working. The wifi password had to be asked. The breakfast timing was also not mentioned. I wonder how the hotel even got their 4* star rating. My advice is please don't ever book this hotel. The toilet bowl wasn't clean and I had to flush twice. I couldn't take more photos because by then they decided to come and inspect the room only after my repeated complaints. 2 hours later they called to inform us that they would be able to offer a room with a double bed the very next day. The room was still unclean, the bed had multiple stains. I wouldn’t recommend this total to anyone.

Me and my wife stayed at this hotel from 06/03/2024- 08/03/2024! Definitely not recommended.

The worst 4-star hotel ever!
Agree the location is convenient given it sits right in front of Pattaya Beach and surrounded by bars, restaurants.
I booked Deluxe room with garden view via Agoda and was given a Deluxe Premier room on 3rd floor which sounds like an upgrade of room type but the truth is NOT. I received a room with aged furniture and a rooftop view. I asked the front desk once and the lady insisted it is the correct room type and offered an obviously worse alternative to move to another Deluxe Premier room on 2nd floor, plus she talked to us with an annoyed face. I reported to Agoda and they could not help as the hotel again insist the room type is correct.
When I check out the next day, the front desk lady, I guess she is in a higher position as she does not wear uniform and with more accessories, is another highlight who has the worst attitude. Prehaps she noticed I am Chinese nationality, she used Mandarin in a rude manner to say "五分鐘" (5 minutes) to ask me wait. Then, she asked me to collect my deposit by shouting "304" (the room number). In general, if not knowing how to pronounce a guest name, "Madam" or "Ms" should be used. In addition, all her body gesture showed she was not willing to provide service.
Last but definitely not least, this hotel has no ethic on data privacy. I found a photocopy of a guest passport being cut in round shape sit inside a rubbish bin the room I stayed.

Mera Mare Pattaya was a nice hotel. It is located next to the Hard Rock Pattaya.

The security staff manning the hotel parking was nice. He called the bell boy to our car, and even helped us with the luggage. The front desk staff were efficient, and the check-in was quick.

We booked a sea view room. The room was nice. The view from the room was really amazing.

The only issues we had with the hotel were (1) the air-cond was very cold (2) the nice rocking chair was a bit of a safety hazard. Other than that, every was great.
