Clean. Towels were changed and the room was cleaned every day. They regularly restocked soap, shampoo, and toilet paper. Wi-Fi was decent.
The street and neighborhood might seem a bit sketchy at first, but they’re actually not — at least I didn’t feel unsafe at any point. I’m a woman from Europe and felt comfortable the whole time. I have to add that I didn’t go out at night.
Location is excellent — close to the metro, and all the major sights are within a 30-minute walk max.
Breakfast was fine; you can choose something every morning.
Big downside: zero sound insulation in the rooms. You can hear absolutely everything. Breakfast starts at 8 on the 5th floor, and you won’t sleep a minute past that due to the noise.
Because of that, I’m giving it 4 stars — otherwise, great value for money.

I stayed at this hotel twice for 7 days and 5 days in 2015 and 2016. The receptionists and staffs were polite and welcoming. The lobby is calm. The rooms are small but kept clean by daily housekeeping. The hotel also has an elevator, making it convenient for guests.
The breakfast was good with sea view from the dining area. I recommend choosing rooms with proper windows, as they are much better than those without. The hotel's location is convenient, with a metro station nearby and easy access to tourist attractions. However, the neighborhood feels unsafe, especially in the evenings when walking to the metro station.

Overall would not recommend.
The hotel is relatively center-located and ca. 1,5h by metro from SAW Airport.
Unfortunately, that's the only positive thing I can say about it.
The structure is quite old and badly maintained/dirty.
The rooms on the second floor are literally missing parts of the floor and, unfortunatelly, the three rooms we had the chance to see (because we asked the reception to change them) were populated by cockroaches.
The one on the 6th floor even had a rudimental mouse-trap at the entrance.
The positive thing is that when we decided to move hotel, they acknowledged the problem and completely refunded us.
Overall the price-quality ratio is not convenient.

The hotel is not far from transportation hubs (metro, marmarai, tram) Quite a long walk to the sightseeing areas, but not too far.
The rooms are old and need renovation

I went to this hotel with my son for 9 days. We arrived on an early morning flight and they allowed us into our room around 10am. The room was cleaned everyday and it was comfortable with the air conditioner as it was 34 degrees. Staff were helpful when asked questions and gave us ideas of how to get around. I would definitely come again.

It’s more than what you expect from a 3-star hotel. I last visited in September 2017.

I really enjoyed my stay there. Although the area looks unkempt, the hotel was excellent. Close to the Metro and Team stations. Close to Restaurants.
The staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. They really tried their best to make my stay very pleasant. I will derecomnend this hotel.

The hotel was clean, and the lady who was doing the cleaning was very nice 👌but Aksaray was a bit scary. Because it's full of scary night clubs

I stayed in this hotel with a few close friends and we stayed in 3 rooms. My room was by far the worst. The bathroom especially around the shower was very dirty, so clearly wasn't cleaned properly for a long time.
The cleaners just leave a mop and bucket with dirty water in it all day and night until they need to use it next. So I question how often they change the water in it.
Even though I'm a person who stays outside all day and only stays in the hotel to sleep and have breakfast. All I want is 2 things.
1. The room to be clean (it wasn't at all)
2. The bed to be comfortable (it was comfortable)
Look at the photos to see other issues I found in my room. They weren't hard to find. Just very obvious and clearly not well maintained rooms. I really wouldn't recommend staying here.
