Dora Pera Hotel

Stayed here for a few nights, a great stay. Located in Beyoğlu, a big nightlife spot in which you literally cannot avoid the bars, restaurants, and shops. Even with all the street noise, my room was whisper quiet- I was on the second floor and not close to the hotels own rooftop bar. The hotel upgraded me to a suite with more space than needed and also included a magnificent Turkish breakfast. The staff were also great, one individual helped me get tickets to a soccer match, a very arcane process. Yagmur at the front desk was also super helpful in providing recommendations for nearby spots.

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was absolutely delightful. Yagmur at the reception was really helpful and gave us a list of restaurants and Hamam to check out which were brilliant. The rooms are a big and spacious and the location of the hotel is perfect that it’s within walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone coming to stay in Melbourne.

One of the highlights was the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. They went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. To our surprise, they even prepared a lovely gesture to celebrate the arrival of our future baby. It was a heartwarming touch that made us feel so welcomed and cared for.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. The staff at the breakfast area is exceptional and provided us with great service and always with a smile. The hotel is clean and room service is prompt. The location of the hotel is great for walking around and getting local Istanbul feel.

Hotel is wonderful! Normally stay at soho house for business. But tried this hotel for this trip. The staff is extremely helpful and very nice. Food, especially breakfast is amazing! Rooms are comfortable and very clean. Suggest more options for room service but so many places close that no real issue. Will come again!!

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at an exceptional hotel in the heart of Pera, Istanbul, andwe can't sing its praises enough! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness by a truly remarkable team. Each staff member, from those at the breakfast service to the reservation desk and the reception, as well as the diligent room personnel, deserves a heartfelt thank you for their impeccable service.

We stayed in a magnificent King Premium room that was not only stunning but also incredibly comfortable. The hotel's location is perfect, situated in the vibrant and historic district of Pera. The beautiful decoration throughout the hotel pays a touching homage to the extraordinary and poignant fate of the Camondo family, adding a layer of historical depth to the experience.

In summary, this is a place I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone visiting Istanbul. It offers a blend of luxury, history, and unmatched hospitality.

Great location! Near to public transport, shops, restos, and night life. Nice interior. Comfy room. Sufficient gym facility. Great night view from rooftop. Galya & Murat are friendly & helpful. Will def stay here again in the future.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed. And not just because of the excellent location or historical style but because of its people working there. Emir from the night shift was super helpful, very polite, very caring and always professional! Beautiful Yagmur was always so friendly and approaching! They made me feel like home! I stayed in the Adahan for work from Sunday 21st to Thursday 25th July. The location is fantastic, right in central Istanbul with lots of cafes, restaurants, bars around. The hotel itself has a rooftop restaurant, where also the breakfast is served every morning. The hotel also has some fantastic lounges available on the ground floor which we used to work. Each room is decorated very beautifully and we were most comfortable working from there.

My room was the 1309 on the 3rd floor. The room is spacious, nicely decorated and has all the amenities: air con, espresso maker, kettle, slippers, bathrobe, towels, shampoo, hand & body wash, shaving kit, sewing kit, etc. I liked the room, however I did find it a bit noisy as it is just opposite some cafe/bar, which sometimes had music till 1:30am. If you're noise sensitive, maybe ask for a 4th floor room away from cafes/bars. The rooms get cleaned everyday.

I cannot highlight enough how attentive and friendly the staff of the hotel is, from reception to cleaning staff to security. Especially Yagmur and Hüseyin from the reception were so friendly and helpful. They both shared some valuable recommendations with us, helped us with restaurant and taxi reservations, and made us feel very comfortable overall.

The rooftop restaurant, Beatrice, was also fantastic. The staff, again, were all just so friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff during the days we stayed were all so lovely. Sadly I didn't get their names to mention here. The breakfast is really great, Turkish style with some sort of a "snacking plate" and then you have further hot/cold options to order from the menu. My only feedback here would be that the coffee was not to our tasting and they also didn't offer any non-dairy milk. This would be my only point to improve. Other than that, we also ate there twice in the evenings, and the food and cocktails were amazing.

If you're looking for a comfortable stay in Istanbul, centrally located, with great amenities such as rooftop and lounge rooms, as well as attentive staff - I couldn't recommend the Adahan more. I would definitely stay there again.
