Richmond Istanbul

A very well situated hotel on the busiest street in the whole of Turkey! Lots to do within walking distance, and great links to metro or boat. Very safe area and significant police presence close by.

Breakfast was decent with a good selection of items. Has a reasonably new gym which was an important factor, but be prepared to bring your own towel / sanitizer etc. to wipe equipment down before/after use.

The only negative comment I have is that it appears they allow people to smoke in their rooms which inevitably will make it into the ventilation system through to other rooms. The first room we were given had an extremely strong cigarette smell, but they were quick to put us into another room which had not been smoked in. That said, on a couple of occasions, cigarette smoke could be smelt from the ventilation system which meant we had to leave the window open for a few hours.

Walls are also a little thin so be prepared to hear your neighbour snore!

Overall, I would stay here again.

I would recommend everyone to stay at Richmond Hotel for their visit in Instanbul. They have great team, food and the best location, from where you can easily reach the places you want to see.
The staff there is very friendly and helpful. Engyn at the reception is kind, friendly and makes sure you have the best time at the hotel. My mom had her 60th birthday, and he made sure we have a cake and candles at the room for her. We are very thankful for that.
Richmond is definitely a great choice👌.

clean, and well-appointed, providing a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with recommendations and requests. The breakfast buffet was varied and delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. Overall, I highly recommend the Richmond Hotel for anyone visiting Istanbul!

First time in Richmond hotel we were greatly satisfied by its location in the center of a very touristic street. The breakfast was amazing with variety of choices and delicious plates. On top of that Itek who was caring for the business she tried her best to reach customer satisfaction. Her attitude is commendable.

The experience was literally amazing. We had a nice view of the city, and the room was like a 5 star hotel. The AC works well, and they even brought us extra cups for drinks in the room. One thing I'd note though is that the mini fridge doesn't work very strongly, but overall everything is amazing. Customer service staff are so so so nice!!! I'd definitely recommend coming here. I'm bound to come back again.

A great hotel, atmosphere and location. Room very nice and clean with a great view. Nicely lit and equipped. Modern room, restaurant nicely decorated. The staff are friendly and try to meet the needs of the guests. A very pleasant stay, from start to finish. I will definitely return to this hotel. Best regards to all the staff... 10/10 Jola

The hotel is neat and clean, making for a comfortable stay. The staff are friendly and attentive, especially the front desk team and the young woman in charge of the breakfast restaurant. Her service was exceptional and added a personal touch to our mornings. Additionally, the hotel’s location is ideal for exploring the city and is perfect for shopping. Overall, a highly recommended place to stay!

The check-in process and staff was very welcoming. They were very pleasant all around.

Rooms are very pleasant and clean. No views but it's expected considering the location.

Breakfast was good, only feedback here is that many times the trays (omelette, meat) were empty for quite some time, and we had to make do with whatever was available.

Some more feedback:
- We asked for a double bed but we got double beds (but joined together).
- The bar isn't well attended. The coffee at the bar was expensive for an instant coffee.

Staff very friendly. We had an executive room with good views of the Bosporus sea.very well situated on the main street. Near all public transport and restaurants. Ipek at guest services very helpful and also the staff at reception.

We stayed here for around 8 days and the location of the hotel is phenomenal. It’s right in the heart of Istiklal and is extremely buzzing. We had great service in particular Engin & Osman who really helped us navigate our way around tours and what to do in the city.
