Reviews
The beach, pools, and water park were all excellent. The food offered a wide variety with plenty of options, and nothing was lacking. The drinks were also very good, though I found the cocktails to be a bit of a letdown. The quality of the alcohol was great, but the fruit syrups they used weren't the best, so I'd recommend sticking to cocktails with just alcohol.
The rooms were a bit small but comfortable and clean.
Every night, there were different shows, and during the day, there were plenty of activities to keep you entertained.
Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would recommend this resort to others.
But still people placing a towel over two sunbeds and expect it to be reserved for the whole day. You know who you are, you are a disgrace.
The meals were generally really good but, after 7 days, a bit samey towards the end... please don't confuse this with the quality of the food; this was amazing.
Comfortable sleeping was a challenge for us; beds were quite uncomfortable and the rooms were basic.
Service, food, and activities were of a good standard - premium brand spirits was a plus, and a great beach - this is a lovely family resort.
We had all-inclusive meals and it was astounding what the kitchen came up with- the number of dishes and variety of people they cater to. No problem with vegan and vegetarian choices. The food was outstanding.
Cute feature are all the friendly cats which are wandering around that well-cared for. Lovely fountains and peaceful walkways. Great features. It was a shoulder season when we were there, so the beaches were empty and the water was very cold. Sand is rocky and rough.
Rooms were ok. Definitely not 5 star quality and if you're there more than a few days, you'll miss your bed at home and be tired, especially if you're an aware sleeper, or anything other than a teenage boy who doesn't care what he's sleeping on. Plus, the beds are small-just normal double size (160 cm) European size (a small queen). No king-size beds and the mattress are hard and the linens rough. Also, the photos make the rooms look larger, but they are cramped and sometimes not well planned out. There is no electric plug in the bathroom for anything other than a shaver, and the hair driers are super low quality.
The floors are ice cold and hard- bad for joints or older people...plus the heating/air con is central, works irregularly, and you will either be hot with hot air blowing on you loudly or cold with cold air blowing on you. It's easy to get sick in these rooms. Most people in our group were sick by the time we left.
If you care about sleeping well and having amenities, you'll be disappointed here, especially if you travel a lot and know what a 5-star hotel really is.
But for kindness, service, food, activities, agreeably, beautiful beach area- this is a great place.
Oh, and as we are both cat lovers, we were really delighted to find there are areas where friendly moggies are happy for a coach and fuss! Absolutely recommend.
