Reviews
The rooms are fairly okay, location is also good. However it's not really a 5 stars hotel.
The all inclusive is not really including everything, some stuff were to be paid. Food was nice, but plates were always not clean. Service was also not so friendly and not good compared to a 4 star hotel elsewhere.
One other strange thing was having live chicken around in open areas and the snack restaurant.
There is no way I would book a vacation again there.
First the good points:
Great 180 sea view
Free slippers
Great cleaning staff
Good options in shops on ground floor
Now all the reasons in my opinion this is not a 5 star resort.
On arrival we had pre booked 2 adult rooms next to each other. They told us this wasn't available so they can upgrade us for free to a family room. We arrived at 5am after a 13 hour flight so agreed. We have to provide him a written statement to say we have accepted this room! Only when we got in, realised they had scammed us. Next day went to the customer service lady who sorted us out 2 rooms.
Lots of variety on day 1 but food is all same
Reheated food, cild
No labels on food
Nuts in most food. No allergies notification
BE WARNED IF YOU HAVE A NUT ALLERGY
Priory to Germans and people who look German. I was twice at bar my turn, but he went to the German (white person)
TUI rep hardly there. German tui person there most of the week
Not enough deckchair. I had to wake up at 7am to get towels then reserve my deck chairs otherwise no chance.
3/5 Staff do not know English. Could not even tell me if the dish was beef or lamb as no labels
Limited options within the area. My son was laughed at when he asked in English for help.
One toaster that doesn't work
Basic shower facilities, not what you expect in a 5* hotel.
Smelly bedding
Very poor quality alcohol. Even though we had all inclusive, I did not bother drinking as I just ended up with a headache.
Flies everywhere as no fly traps or zappers
Poor entertainment that starts very late.
Fire doors wedged open as the magnetic mechanism broken
Rooms doors do not shut properly. Risk of staying open if not pulled hard shut
Intermittent hot water in shower
Veg food cooked with meat
Ant in the room even though we were on the 5th floor!
The room walls are paper think. We were on the top floor but you could hear the neighbours talking, moving their chairs, taking a number 2.
As we explained all these points to the TUI rep, she just kept defending or justifying the points except the food ingredients not listed and fire doors.
Location wise there are a few shops outside which is pretty decent.
The beach is made of sharp and even sharpers stones.
Thanks to this experience, we are longer going to go all inclusive, it just isn't worth it.
I'm giving this 2 stars based on the fact this hotel claims to be 5 star and this is what we were sold by TUI.
Addition - there are wild birds all over the place which is great to see. But come down before 7am and you will see piles of poo everywhere. I bet half of that ends up in the pool. Completely disgusting if you swim!
After Turkish, German is the predominant language spoken and food and entertainment is focused on German tastes, with French, Russian and UK tourists in the minority. I did not mind staying in a such a hotel, the German guests were polite and well behaved, and appeared to have a good time without being drunk and disorderly (not like the English at similar hotels I have stayed at).
The entertainment team work very hard and provide a 45 minute multinational mini disco each night, with some professional acts following on some evenings. A special mention has to be made to Goofy, a children’s rep who was brilliant, friendly and helpful.
There are chickens, turkeys, peacocks and ducks freely roaming around the whole hotel, this may be good or bad. Equally the beach is very grainy sand, with stones near the waters edge, some people may like this but I prefer golden sands.
The hotel is quite isolated with some tourist style shops nearby. The prominent currency is Euros and everything is at tourist prices, so expect UK prices or more. I’d guess for bargains, head out to Side (but no direct buses so a taxi or trip would be required).
I would give it max 3 stars for many reasons i will mention later. First of all they welcomed us with a cheat on our rooms for which I additionally paid. We had 1 room with a sea view and second with side sea view. We went toegther 4 people- a family. So we got there at night ( late plane) and we got 1 room without any view (like a rear awfull view without even plants) and second a side sea view mostly a view to pools. Ok. Next day when we got up i decided to change the rooms as they were supposed. They changed only changed one to another side sea view.
EVERY room is soooo loud. You will never get rest there. You hear like everyone's alarm in the morning from rach room close
By. Not mentioning the corridor...you hear every step, every whisper. Also even with closed doors you hear everyday CLUB party from a hotel nearby. Party with huuuge base and it lasts till late.
We went with 7yo and there is nothing to do apart from a VERY OLD SLIDES(which I was afraid to use). There is no mini club (room is just there but plain empty).
Beach is fine...but water is deep, not for children.
Also if you want to use evenings there is nothing to do there...during 1 week we went once out because there was some kind of POOR party outside which I didn't rally enjoy.
Food is average, there is actually a lot of food of every kind but nothing that special. Same taste everyday.
THERE IS NO AIR CONDITION anywhere apart from your room. Not in corridors not in restaurants. You just sweat all the time. No idea WHY!
I had a feeling that hotel has some financial problems. As for 5 star as they claim no bathrobes, only 2 towels in room. Only one electrical contact by the bed.
Room was small as for 2 people. (18m2 at most) in bathroom you get only 2 in one gel !!! Nothing more.
I am so disappointed with this hotel and also the prices there in hotel marketplace ( in EURO for example Pringles 10 euro !!!!) That i will be not coming back to Turkey.
My vacation from start to end was a joke. Also pictures at the Google is a lie.
I don't know what people like about this place which has very poor location
I don't recommend it at all and I have been traveling for 20 years now.
Sorry Seaden !! You need to do a lot better !
1. **Construction Noise**: They start construction at 5 AM without any regard for the guests' comfort.
2. **Unhygienic Food**: There was hair in almost every dish, which is unacceptable and disgusting.
3. **Poor Housekeeping**: The cleaning services were FAR below standard. The housekeepers were very polite but the housekeeping was not, not good. Dirt everywhere.
4. **Minibar Issues**: Although the minibar was supposed to be complimentary, it was only ever restocked with water—nothing else.
5. **Language Barrier**: None of the hotel staff could speak English, making communication extremely difficult and frustrating.
6. **Dirty Balconies**: The balconies were constantly covered in dirt and debris, as the cleaners simply swept the mess from the upper floors down to the lower ones.
7. **Faulty Air Conditioning**: The AC did not work during the hottest part of the day, making the rooms unbearably warm.
8. **Noise**: The rooms were incredibly noisy—you could hear everything. If you’re lucky, you might be able to fall asleep around 2 or 3 AM.
9. **Animals**: Animals roamed freely around the hotel, which I found very unpleasant (though this may be a matter of personal taste).
10. **Cold Pool Water**: The pool water was uncomfortably cold.
11. **Dirty Beach**: The beach was very dirty and not well-maintained.
12. **No Food Variation**: The food lacked variety, but what was even worse was that I constantly felt disgusted because there was hair in the food the two days we (unfortunately) spent there.
The only positive aspect was the taxi manager outside the hotel, who was excellent and deserves full credit.
In summary, this hotel provides a thoroughly unpleasant experience and should be avoided at all costs.
However, many of the guests were extremely rude and bad to the staff. Typical rude, arrogant English, German and Dutch people (I’m Dutch myself and I was ashamed of that during my stay).
I really respect the staff a lot that they keep up with this kind of behavior of their guests.
So for all people thinking of going there, please respect the employees and don’t forget to leave some tip for the housekeeping :)
