GRIFID Metropol Hotel - Premium All inclusive & Private Beach - Adults Only

Firstly, we like travelling, and we do it, a lot, so it is difficult for us to find a place to impress us. But this spring we were blessed to be accepted as guests in Vistamar Hotel, Grifid line, Golden Sands, from 1st of May to 4th, and accomodated in a Concept room, with an amazing view and location. As we had our own Concept space for the meals, on the 12th floor Skybar, we did not experiment the main restaurant very often, but from time ți time, we fully enjoyed the warmth, professionalism and patience of the staff, great food and cool atmosphere.
What is special about Vistamar? Everything. Location-right on the beach. View-from sunrise to sunset. Special nights-Italian, French, Fusion cuisine, in a stylish, elevated atmosphere, that made us feel special, too. And, last, but not least, the staff from the Skybar-amazingly good at whatever they were doing, right there for us, the guests, to be more than happy from early in the morning!!! Zoia, that guided us and help ed us discovery the best of our location, with infinite kindness and support. The Coffee Shop-a dream place full of the best coffee and cakes, ever. What would it be more convincing to say? The fact that we haven't left the hotel before we made another reservation, for this summer, in July, with the help of the most wonderful Manager we have ever encountered.
Vistamar is not just a hotel. It is a must, an experience we all should benefit from, at least once in a lifetime.

Vistamar, forever
Since we had an amazing holiday in May, we decided to book a summer stay in the same Concept room, right then. Our arrival was delayed by a terrible event, the loss of a most beloved family member. Thus we discovered another hidden treasures of the place and peopl - the patience and help from Ms Gergana, from the Reservation desk, who helped us find a new position for our stay and turned into a real friend, empathy and warmth of Ms Ioana, Ms Cristina, Ms Zoia, Kiril, Ms Presi, who offered us support, ideas and help to make the best of our stay, offered us surprising thematic evenings, especially the Mongo and Romantic ones, or comforted us simply being there for us and turning our stay into a craddle of healing. The serenity of the place, late at night, the complicity of the sea, right in front of you, when you open your eyes in the morning, the exquisite non alcohoolic and alcohoolic drinks carefully prepared at the Skybar, the excellent food, the yummy cakes and gorgeous coffee from the Coffee Shop, cannot be ignored. So, silently, you fall in love with Vistamar, and its people again and again, each and every time you spend a couple of days there. And, above all these, if you also take into account the presence of smiling young personell, right there at the entrance of the main restaurant, each and every day, helping you find the best place for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and, mostly, their genuine way of being happy while praised for their good work, you cannot but realise that Vistamar simply puts its heart on a plate for its guests, each and every second. So, no matter what, Vistamar will always be the perfect choice for us, a place to crave for and enjoy to the full. And if Vistamar is for now, just an unknown spot for you, give it a chance with an open heart, as guests, and you will love it, forever.

This hotel has surprised me in a very good way. Past years i was in all inclusive hotels in Romania, Turkey, Egypt, all of them 5 stars and more expensive than this one. This hotel although not so big as the ones in Egypt for example, offers more quality for the money. Shortly said it is better than all of the above. My favourite thing is that it is only 3 minutes from the room to being in the sea and the food is very good. There is a lot of staff to cater to your needs. Animation like minidisco and 21:00 show was subpar, but who cares.

My overall experience is ok, but since they promise access to an aqua park, I don’t expect it to be closed and out of service. In case access to the aqua park is a deal breaker for you, make sure to personally contact them and ask for details/availability. Also, food and beverages are cheap in quality but I appreciate the diversity after all. For the price, I am a bit disappointed.

Very nice hotel, very nice staff always ready to help and solve any problems.
Theme nights were very well run, interesting performances.
We came across a very beautifully singing artist who played at the hotel, as he himself calls himself "Spotify premium"
The cleaning service does their job very well, cleans thoroughly, it's nice to come back after a whole day at the beach to a clean, fragrant room.

This hotel is pretty great. The only odd thing about it is that its split by a long hallway, so you can get booked on either side and have to orientate yourself to reach various restaurants and locations.

The food is diverse, the room is very nice. The staff always replaces the towels im the room even if you don't want it replaced.

I would like more visible indicators in hallways about where what is. Only 4 days in, the room service told me i can take the stairs to the restaurant instead of taking the elevator twice.

But the bigger problem is with the pool/beach sunbed "reservations".

At 8 AM the beach is 40% "occupied" by people who leave the towels on the sunbeds. At 9 AM its impossible to find a spot at the outside pool.

Staff either shrug or evict a spot only if you complain.
I saw people come to their sunbeds after 4 hours. I've seen panicked people about their abandoned towel when the staff moved the sunbeds because they couldn't get the card.

It enforces the same toxic behavior . If someone would collect everything at 8AM people would have a chance at a spot after breakfast.

Over all the experience was a 4.5 out of 5, staff mostly friendly and helpful. The all inclusive package is a good value but you should watch for extras such as wine at some of the restaurants that are not included. All of the spa facilities are paid extras,

Food options are plenty with a main buffet that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Several book in advance restaurants, with some included from the chains other hotels. Make sure you book early to avoid disappointment.

We recommend the concept rooms so that you gain access to the sky bar and adults only area with a stunning infinity pool on the roof of the hotel.

The only let downs were as follows, the bed was rock hard on arrival and we had to ask for a mattress topper to be added, also the pillows are not amazing so be ready to ask for a wide selection.

The mini bar in the concept room was not filled every day and we had to ask on more than one occasion.

Overall a nice hotel, as it's a family hotel you will have loud children and sometimes even louder parents.
