Hotel Continental

The hotel was nice, the rooms spacious and clean, and the balcony we had with our room was pretty big, although it was not fully delimited from the neighboring balconies. The beds were comfortable and I believe that after two days the room keepers came in to change the sheets. We also had extra pillows, towels and blankets in the room, which was a bonus. The bathroom had a tub, which I wasn't a big fan of, as it is quite difficult to pop in for a quick shower, especially if you are old or have any kind of injury/are ill.

The hotel is situated on a hill and you will have to climb up and down the hill to get to the beach, so that might be something to take into consideration.

The gym is in a room as big as a hotel room with a few old exercise machines and a rusty bar for chest presses. The room also smells terribly of mold, which is probably due to its positioning (it is near the spa and jacuzzi). I don't recommend going there during a stay.

The food was pretty good as well and the staff was wonderful. The only exception being the guy at the front desk who didn't seem too keen to call the emergency service when I went over to the reception in the middle of the night because of a viral stomach infection. He eventually helped us and made the necessary calls, out but it took quite a lot of haggling and that was not a great experience as I was already feeling ill. All in all, the hotel wasn't bad, but it has room to improve.

The hotel was really beautiful and clean and had a lot of different foods, I loved the breakfast.
Very clean pool and a wide variety of drinks.
The behavior of the hotel staff was somewhat kind, but in general, Bulgarian people are not friendly at all.

The overall experience was great.
The hotel is located away from noise, the music played outside and at the restaurant area was great, staff is friendly, food was pretty good and there was also a vast type of different food.
The pool was very clean and clear, a little small, but I was on september and there weren't a lot of people in that area.

Great hotel overall, wouldn’t recommend to people with walking disabilities. The hotel is on the hill, walking to the beach could be hard. The staff was amazing, especially barmen Stanislav, he made sure we had fun. Rooms are spacious with gigantic balcony. Overall hotel is amazing, great price and quality value.

The cleanliness is speechless: the rooms, the pool area, the tables, the restaurant. Loved it!
The food is amazing! It is very tasty (even the morning sausages were great - this almost never happens at an all inclusive 😁).
There is a really comforting walk to the beach (10-15min), no reason to blame the distance since we all know that the hotel is not on the frontline.

Nice place, looks freshly updated. All the staff were very nice courteous, fun and smiling. Most spoke decent Russian and English. Probably other languages as well but I can’t vouch. Food was amazing for the price. Great beer and coffee machines. Stanislav is a great bartender. Kids area was also useful for 6 and 8 year olds. Close walk to the beach, probably 10 mins if you have kids that are slow on stairs. If I had to have a gripe about something, I’d say the curtains did us no good. Lots of late as soon as sun comes up, they don’t work. Over all everything very clean and nice.

Everything about this hotel is amazing. The rooms are modern and clean. Maids clean your room and give you new towels every day, they are also very nice and friendly. The food was really delicious and there was always new food to choose from every day. They were always serving a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also great, i really liked the music they were playing and you can also sit outside and enjoy the view. Waiters and waitresses are very nice, polite, are always in a good mood and smiling. The pool is clean and the cocktails are also amazing and tasty. Location of this hotel is great, it’s only about 5 minutes away from the beach. Altogether, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel to the fullest. It was an amazing experience.

This hotel is very cozy,clean and convenient.There is everything you need.The food is so tasty and delicious.There is fitness,spa and pool.I had the best holiday ever in this hotel.

Long review. This review comes after 7 nights of All-Inclusive.

Room:

PRO: The room is very spacious, modern and clean. AC works very well(was left at 20 degrees while out, the temperature upon returning was great). The cleaning staff does its job very well. You hve a safe in the room aswell. Set a code and you’re good to go.
CON: Except one thing. We had a bathtub that we could only use as a shower. The drain was clogged with hair. That we could see. Water barely went down. I asked reception if they could fix this issue, and the response was positive. But it wasn’t fixed. Oh well…I tried.

Food, beverages and restaurant & cocktail bar:

PRO: The food was great. 3 meals with 2 snacks in-between daily. Plenty of options to choose from: fried, grilled, oven-cooked, fresh, meats, seafood, soups, vegetables, you name it, they had it.
Cocktail bar near the pool with a large option of beverages and a bar on the terrace connected to the restaurant with the same menu. Coca-Cola/Fanta/Sprite/Schweppes/Sparkling Water dispensers along with orange juice, apple juice, wine dispensers plus a coffee machine.
CON: No cons here.

Staff:
Friendly, helpful, english-speaking, some a bit romanian. Pleasant interactions.
The young employees at the restaurant clean the tables very fast. I haven’t seen a dirty table in 7 days.
The bartenders are friendly and sociable.
The cleaning staff(as much as I saw them), are very nice and polite and do a great job.
From the reception staff, parking guards, the lifeguards, to the cooks, to the people cleaning tables or rooms, they all form a great team.

Pool:
We spent most day at the pool. Quiet atmosphere, very relaxing. The water’s great to cool after an hour of sunbathing. Clean pool with salty water. Max depth of 1,4m followed by 1,3m at the other end(excluding the children pool). The pool area is constantly being cleaned.

Parking:
The hotel has its own underground parking space. It is not the biggest but it’s enough. It costs 20BGN/night and you can pay upfront. We paid 140BGN for 7 nights and left the car there the entire time.
There are other parking spaces if you drive towards the beach.

Other:
There is a dedicated kid’s playground indoors plus children stools at the restaurant.
There is also a Spa and a room with a PS4, but those are payable.
Wi-Fi signal is decent, could be better.

TIP: classic beverages like gin tonic, ice frappe, whiskey on the rocks etc. ARE NOT written on the menu BUT ARE AVAILABLE. Just ask the bartender.
TIP2: Also, use those eco cups at the pool.
TIP3: At 3pm(15:00), there is a snack bar with Pizza in the Cocktail Bar area(by the pool). You will have to fight for it, but do it because it is delicious.
TIP4: The Wi-Fi given expires after 5 days, but worry not. Ask reception and they will gladly give you another code.

Going for 4 out of 5 stars just because of the clogged bathtub drain.
Other than that, the overall experience was relaxing and pleasant.
Will gladly return for another holiday.
