Grand Hotel - All Inclusive

I shall start with the good points. Rooms are spacious, storage plenty but no good if you have dressses which need to be hanged. Bathroom small but great shower, just remember to put your bath mat down otherwise the bathroom will flood. Balcony a great size and had a great view down to the beach, just a shame I had to request it be cleaned as this was not touched for 9 days. Breakfast was the only decent meal for me. Going down to breakfast on my first day I chose to sit outside which was the worst decision to make as the tables had not been cleaned from the night before, ashtrays were overflowing, ash all over the table and floor, sticky chairs and tables, left over food from the night before e.g. bones from the ribs! chips and various other food, what made this worst was that the staff were actually walking by this! As for the staff, I have never met such miserable people in all my life, 90% of which did not smile in the 2 weeks I was there, there were a couple of older ladies who did but mostly they walked by you just staring at you thats when they werent on their phones or chatting to other members of staff, lazy is another word I would use for them. Stay clear from the old man cooking the eggs and god help you if you wanted your eggs cooked properly and flipped, his face is enough to make the milk turn sour! RUDE is not even good enough a word for him just horrible. The resaraunt or rather CANTEEN i would call it, as you had to collect your own cutlery, napkins, salt and pepper beforey you were even seated? Again when going for your evening meal I would expect the tables to me made up for you? The food was definatley not to mine or my aunts taste, warm pile of mush was all I could see. we ate out most of the time otherwise it was a case of chips, chips and more chips with salad. As for the pool, it has a green rim around it and under the steps as you climb out is covered in green algi or whatever it is, but I only attempted to go in 1 time and after seeing this I did not bother again. The pool area was only cleaned once in the 2 weeks that i was there, so therefore covered in seagull crap all over the floor, tables and chairs.
