Hotels on first line in Balchik

I laughed myself to tears seeing my dad jumping in the pool and my mom grabbing to my watermelon floatie for life :)) It was a much needed break and I loved the little beach from Balchik for sunset, but during the day we’ve spent most of the time at the pool

So each morning we’ve had a lazy breakfast, then fun at the pool, after lunch we would go to the Botanical Garden which was just across the street and then went on a nice walk on the beach till that wooden deck from my previous post

Lovely hotel with nice pool and kids zone. If you are looking for really quiet place in June that’s your choice. Season there starts quite late and is real quiet but for us was exactly what we wanted.

Within minutes of entering our suite had a list of issues. Safe not working, missing cutlery in kitchen, no slippers, no kettle, very little toilet paper. Reception could not sort any of this until after 9am next day

Our room was super clean and nice, extremely close to the pool, so we would just open the window and get right on the sun lounges

It is super large and with a kids dedicated area, good music and a pool bar. Everything you might need for a nice vacation

But I think this hotel is just a place to stay and the main attraction is what's around the hotel outside like botanical garden and nice shops and beach around

There is a pool but on the day I was there I was freeeeezing

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. The service was exceptional as well. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Balchik

I would definitely send a friend there. If the system allowed me here I would give 10 stars than 5

It is not the best hotel and my room wasn't the cleanest and smelt a bit weird. There is a TV and shower room/toilet and a small fridge and a AC so that's good

Didn't stay at the hotel because everytime when I was in Balchik was a day trip, but I take in consideration to stay few days here in the future as the view offered by the hotel is awesome (it is in the front of the Black sea) and, also, it has a nice spa

Very comfortable Hotel close to Queen Maria of Romania's summer Palace & even closer to the sea. We had superb views of the sea from our balcony, which was large enough for us to sit out comfortably

Fresh, clean, cozy. Friendly staff. Service at the level. The sea is 5 meters, a clean pool with free sunbeds and there are some sunbeds near the sea. WiFi speedtest 10-20mbps.

Spa manicure isn’t great and the pool water is both cold and made our skin itchy - too much antibacterials, I guess. The massages were, however, very nice (at an acceptable price, although a bit higher ranged)

the hotel is pretty cool, quality stuff in the room, great location, great view, good food at the restaurant. but I am gonna give 4 stars because of the outdoor pool - it does not exist anymore

Our favourite hotel in Balcik, all the rooms are with sea view and the food and the wine are excellent

Great hotel, sunny, right in front of marina, clean rooms and bathrooms, friendly staff - they are like elfs, nicely taking care of guests

Playgrounds are very few and very old. The beaches are also not the best in Bulgaria

The rooms are a little oldschool/outdated but they are clean and the beds are relatively comfortable. The location of the hotel is great

Air conditioning works well which is a huge plus for the rooms that are located on the front which have sun almost all day

7 minutes walk to the closest accessible ( for free) beach ( good one, no showers on the beach) Size room ( double bed) - good Matres and bed - good + Size bathroom - good Large secured parking - 14 leva ( 7 euro) per day It doesn't offer coffee/tea in the room

- big rooms - excellent location and view - breakfast was okay, nice to have breakfast on the esplanade - close to the beach - bottle of water in the room - good curtains - good insulation, although on the esplanade and a lot of foot traffic, in the room it was quiet - had to pay 14 Lev a day for parking - only cash - no hot water between 17:00 and 22:00

Pro: relative small price for all inclusive in august 2000 bgn for 1 week,nice staff, 2 pools, relativly clean as per total, nice big rooms, area for kids over 4 years 2 play, okysh food, very very nicr staff, cleaning lady changed our sheets like 4 times because the kid kept eating biscuits in bed and made it dirty, always had fresh towels, all in all a good experience

There is a bar, a restaurant with a toilet, paddling pool ( so-so) today the warm water and fun waves

Nice place with all what you need for a nice sitting. The staff very polite and the food very good and diversity on menu. The room big and the price a very good value ( all inclusiv).We really had a nice time!

Cons: linen from the bunk bed was not changed when we first arrived, floor sweeped only in the middle of the room, glass staines on the table, no green areas with shade

The place has nice views, a beautiful pool. The rooms are spacious but not great. The Bathroom was not the best, the bed was not comfortable and the bedding was bad

We spent just one night here unfortunately and the weather was so bad... but the place is beautiful and clean and it looks promising for the next trip.

I've visited in December. Cold and not very clean but the view is great and it's right on the sea side. The food wasn't too good

the hotel is being updated and the room we had was excellent, the staff are very helpful and the manager/owner will arrange all trips,taxis and any visits you should need most enjoyable stay and look forward to visiting again

Lovely restaurant by the sea. Food was great, the service was great, our waiter Vasil was amazing, he's not only an amazing waiter but also a great entertainer.

- It's close to the sea but normal rooms don't have a sea view -there's a disturbing sound , like water dripping which comes out of the cooling device

Excellent hotel with a very good restaurant attached. Good food, good prices, Shepard's salad, mussels and sprot a must try, BBQ also very good even though there aren't many dishes

Food was great, serving great also, I would come back here any time. If you like lamb this is your place.

Close to the beach and the main street where all the restaurants are located - just 5 minutes walk - and it is placed on a very quiet street at the same time

Decent place with nice pool and building. The bathroom needs some improvements as the water does not flush properly and the instalation is old

Very good positioning. Near balchik gardens and palace. 2 pools. Not very clean. Poor service. Room was full of smoke smell. 2 days needed for air refreshing.

We love this hotel and have been many times. I think about 10 times in the last 2 , and we didn't go last year as we couldn't travel due to Covid-19. It's not a deluxe hotel but totally fantastic for us

It's very close to the castle and gardens and there is a staircase close to the reception door that gets you near the sea in 5 minutes. Not the beach (that is about 5 more minutes), just the sea promenade

I found the breakfast a little funny as they serve you something small and mainly based on meat. Not other options for vegetarians. And no extra food haha 😁 the pool is cool, in general I do enjoy the place

Of course there are little things than need to be fixed but are so small that we don't mind (the fan in the bathroom is not working, and a bathroom curtain would be useful to keep the floor dry of water and safe

On the positive side is close to the beach, a little bit retired, all the rooms have sea view and next to it, the helios hotel (which also owns Oasis) has a great restaurant to eat (Margo's)

The hotel is OK (air conditioning, comfortable beds, good breakfast), but the beach leaves a lot to hope for - seaweed, trash (cigarette butts, waste paper, beverage cans

Not very good cleaning, sheets in bed should be changed more often than once a week. Terrible breakfast. Otherwise a nice little place and poolaccess was a big plus

The "free breakfast" is free as long as you pay for it (it was not included in the price of the room in their hotel offer) and managed(outsourced) by a restaurant. The rooms are in dire need of renovation

The free parking is in fact a strip of land across the road paved with rocks; it's free indeed, but anybody can "park" there and there are a lot of locals and visitors coming there during the weekend

Rooms are non smoking, but you can smoke on the balcony if you wish. Breakfast included was delicious. Food, I believe is, farm to table fresh, or sea to table fresh and it shows

I am very glad I stayed at Victoria Family Hotel. Not only that, I've had the best meals here, and they have the best frozen yogurt I had ever tasted. I will definitely come back to them, whenever I visit Balchik

I can honestly say, that this was the best shrimp, squid and mussels I have ever had. Very fresh, marinated in homemade wine and herbs and with delicious side salad. The owners are very nice and friendly

During the high season, might be noise from the street as the hotel in very central. 3 min walk from restaurants and shopping area

We stayed at Hotel Victoria at the end of July, beginning of August with some friends. This was our second time and our friends first time to stay here. The fact that we rebooked this hotel should tell you something

We are not picky customers, but we know when a place is well run, clean and comfortable, and we were not disappointed! A small, family run hotel with really wonderful staff, lovely rooms, comfy beds, and balconies

The best hotel in Balchik or even in the Black Sea coast! The staff is super friendly, the owners are the best and very accommodating. We had our wedding here and it was an amazing time

The waiters are super professional and nice. The only thing that they could improve is the access to the swimming pool

Location:5*, sea access, more private, away 5min from promenade. Garden, pools, place to sun tan. Parking place free outside of hotel. Abd yes, very safe, parked there 6 nights

Family room with 2 bedrooms was big enough for 4 persons. Restaurant was basic good, and breakfast was good everyday. Took rental car from airport wich helped moving around. Using taxi would have been quite costly

The food is great, cook very talented and the housekeeping is fast and thorough. The views from the hotel are even better. One of the best vacations of my life!! Will be back 100%! ❤️

There was enough space for a family of four. The sea view is questionable because there is a hotel across the street. Clean place, friendly staff and a lovely receptionist who is quite helpful

Very nice hotel in the center of Balchik promenade. Friendly staff and very good price. The room is big. The only problem was with bathroom design: no separation between toilet and shower.

The reception girls are very friendly and they have a surprisingly good English. Clean and tidy, but the bathroom was a bit uncomfortable and strange, also the shower wasn't very functional

Beautiful place! We had an air conditioned one bedroom apartment with sea view, a nice balcony where you could spent hours on end, a super comfy bed (I would have loved a second pillow tough)

Nice two stars apart-hotel with decent apartments which are oriented to the beachfront. I think they can be rated above two stars if they would make wheelchair/luggage trolley access

Nice view, if you have a sea view room. A little bit noisy. But the hotel is good, the rooms large and clean

Very clean, a mini fridge was also available. Breakfast was tasty and diverse. Parking can be a bit tricky and narrow. Definitely one of the best places we ever stayed at

This hotel is an excelent place to rest. It is situate în right center of Balchik, very close to change office, bank, ATM. All the rooms has a magnificent view to Black Sea

The room we have was clean, with fridge, AC, TV, balcony. We eat to Deva terrace, 5 - 6 minutes away. Very taste and cheap food, and very friendly personell. We will visit this place surely

A pleasant location, the rooms are ok, the breakfast is good, a very nice lady at the reception for a 2-star hotel is very ok, unfortunately my uncle was staying next door, at a 3-star hotel and he had no conditions at all ex TV f small with tube in back, and I lcd 82cm breakfast 2 slices of bread with egg and tea I for example butter cheese jam salami red cucumbers, coffee water tea and he has coffee...

Excellent small family hotel. If you look for cheap price good service and quite place to stay highly recommend it.

It had a good value for money. clean, it was close to the beach and had plenty of restaurants nearby. It also had stores and supermarkets nearby

Expansive restaurant and bar with suspiciously happy and friendly, english and other languages speaking middle-aged staff. Mainly foreigner visitors, good atmosphere. Here the Music is Abba.

We also parked our car in front of the hotel in a place where all the parking spots were free. The terrace was good and the room had us toiletries

Quiet location, big and clean rooms, kind staff, good breakfast, clean swimming pool, underground parking, 2 minutes away from the Nomad beach.

Very nice hotel, didn’t expected…10/10 star’s value for money!!! Usual breakfast but if you’re not pretentious then is great! Perfect location and very family friendly!!! Staff is great!!! Their bistro is enough for lunch next to the pool! I do recommend!!! Only 2 minutes up to the beach down stairs!!!

The hotel has all de facilities you need : free parking spot, spacious rooms, very close to a private beach area ( you have to pay en extra cost for a chaislounge and an umbrella) and bars to have a drink! We had half board included, the breakfast was ok despite the dinner which was very poor!

Very nice location, just a few walks from the beach and restaurants. One thing I noticed and didn't like was that staff are not so accommodating and not so friendly. They do not give us even a fake smile

It has everything you need, with a plus for the studio rooms and apartments (which also have a small kitchen). Hotel staff, uninvolved, disinterested and in no mood. Most were young people with temporary jobs
