Where to stay in Balchik

Great resort and accommodation. Had a 1 bedroom apartment and it was very comfortable. Service is great and breakfast amazing (although must note it's quite unusual to have it start at 8am only). Make sure to book restaurants for diner as gets quite busy during summer season. Only negatives: - blinds in bedrooms are not blocking light properly so everybody was up by 6am. - water in pool was freezing...

Another round of golf for us here in Bulgaria. This time Black Sea Rama. Compare to next course entrance to this one is more surprising and stylish. Love the club house and view. Great that they have the yardage book. However what is poor is that if you want to buy logo ball you have to buy 3, not just one. Why? I collect it and want have just one. Magical place. With captivating atmosphere leading you to enjoy unique cuisine and relax with amazing view. My fav place in eastern Bulgaria.

Greener than the neighbouring Lighthouse Golf&Spa and with a feeling of a more relaxed and closer to nature environment. Of course visited by a lot of Romanian tourists and gold players and a bit crowded in that time of the year (June).

Great villas with amazing views and amenities. Most of the villas are quite spacious with private pools in front. Unfortunately, staff was somewhat unprofessional and slow. Also, it was quite hard to travel within the resort since it is very spread out.

Cons: linen from the bunk bed was not changed when we first arrived, floor sweeped only in the middle of the room, glass staines on the table, no green areas with shade. The hotel is very good, clean and comfortable! The breakfast is included in price and is very good. We have for welcome bottle of wine. Everyday we have water and coffee free of charge in room. The spa is very good.

I've been there in late May last year, during off-season. The personnel was extremely friendly, especially the cook who spoiled us and the chief-of-staff lady! We enjoyed very much the backyard which is in fact a park and the relaxing and peaceful view, with birdsong as the only 'noise'! Also, the furniture has a distinctive, classic design.

Nice looking hotel BUT, very bad hygiene in the rooms and in the restroom of the restaurant. There is black mold and ants in the fridge in the room. Soul in the bathroom does not work. The food is nice. The pool is clean. The staff is very nice and friendly

Good low-cost option for Balchik. They have breakfast, air conditioning, freezer, and hot water showers at 95 leva (~50 Euros) for a double room. It’s the perfect stay for a family vacation. It’s close to the Botanical Garden and all the best restaurants. The staff is very helpful and friendly. And the view from our room was the best. The pool is very clean and perfect for families with children.

I'm not sure the pictures match the reality, it wasn't "all inclusive" when I stayed, the restaurant and the pool was not working, so "no inclusive". The rooms are basic but the position next to the palace and the gardens more than makes up for it's previous mentioned shortfalls.

A cheap place to stay. Pay 30 more euros and go nearby to White Rock Castle if you want a way better experience. Friendly staff

stayed for twelve days in may.2013. the hotel is being updated and the room we had was excellent, the staff are very helpful and the manager/owner will arrange all trips,taxis and any visits you should need most enjoyable stay and look forward to visiting again

Decent place with nice pool and building. The bathroom needs some improvements as the water does not flush properly and the instalation is old. Staff was pretty ok, nothing special (we came 2h eariler but couldn't check in until 14:00 as specified on booking) Overall it was ok given the price but it can be more if investments are done properly.

We did not stay at the hotel, but we had some fabulous dinners at the restaurant. We wondered in accidentaly and we did not go anywhere else for the rest of our holiday in Balchik. Sparkly clean, big room, extremly nice and helpfull hosts. They smile a lot. In the bathroom there is no shower cabin or a curtain, you wash directly on the floor of the bath, but it'll do. During the high season, might be noise from the street as the hotel in very central. 3 min walk from restaurants and shopping area.

I am very glad I stayed at Victoria Family Hotel. I've made a new friend there. Not only that, I've had the best meals here, and they have the best frozen yogurt I had ever tasted. I will definitely come back to them, whenever I visit Balchik. Thank you for 3 days of perfection.

It's such a mellow and zen place to stay! The rooms are so nice and there's terraces for almost every room, not to forgot they serve breakfast every morning (homemade!! Even for vegans like me 😊). The location is nice, you can see the beach from your balcony and the stars at night. To finish it off, there's even a bar and a good place for kids to run around.

Nice cheap hotel, kinda great view, quite far from Balcic, half way to Albena, close to the Gardens; what is not good at all are the bathrooms; all rooms have only 2 beds and the view from the balcony rarely reachs the sea; restaurant stake house nearby and also a supermarket; get the homemade breakfast, it's great!

Rooms not so clean. Our fridge was full of mold and the cleaning lady came and clened with with a basic cloth (did not look clean at the end), smelled sooo bad. Also, we saw a bug in the room. The cleaning lady was doing a lot of noise, always knocking things. Very close to the small beach and close to markets.

Friendly staff, well cleaned premises and nice atmosphere. Excellent Bulgarian 3 star hotel. Nice pool and possibility to swim in ocean. Well working airconditioning in room. Family room with 2 bedrooms was big enough for 4 persons. Restaurant was basic good, and breakfast was good everyday. Took rental car from airport wich helped moving around. Using taxi would have been quite costly.

The best hotel in Balchik or even in the Black Sea coast! The staff is super friendly, the owners are the best and very accommodating. We had our wedding here and it was an amazing time. Great on all fronts! Very friendly staff, lovely location (in walking distance to the pomerade and lots of restaurants) with direct access to the sea. There is a kids play area with a climbing frame, trampoline, games and a small pool for toddlers or kids that cannot swim. Our room was very clean and tidy daily which was fantastic! Highly reccomended

The bathroom is a little small, very small sink, without shower tub or bathtub, you can shower on the floor tiles. No air conditioning but we didn't feel the need for it either. Beautiful place! We had an air conditioned one bedroom apartment with sea view, a nice balcony where you could spent hours on end, a super comfy bed (I would have loved a second pillow tough). Very clean, a mini fridge was also available. Breakfast was tasty and diverse. Parking can be a bit tricky and narrow. Friendly service also. Definitely one of the best places we ever stayed at.
