This review is concerning the restaurant. The food, mostly the seafood, this is what we have tasted is has great quality and is very good.
Service is great, they have fresh fish at least the one is taken from the Black Sea. Overall experience for four people was great. We recommend this restaurant for others who want to try seafood and bulgarian cuisine. Thank you.

We went here to eat as it was top rated in Balchik, some of us got greek salads and we got the veggies whole on the plate and a chunk of feta on top, no plating, not cut, and also they used vegetable oil not olive oil for it! Needles to say it did not taste good. The prices are also pretty high for what they offer. The garlic bread and fried chicken was decent though and the staff friendly.

Decent food and good location. It is on the pricey side.
What makes me not want to come back here is the self entitled waiter that rudely complained about not receiving a tip.
And after reading a few reviews… he seems to do this frequently.
Maybe when your waiter gets some manners you will receive better reviews 🤷♂️

The food and service was great, but the ribs were underwhelming. Take them off the menu.

A restaurant terrace located on the promenade in Balchik offers a beautiful view. The menu is also written in Romanian, and the staff speaks the language, making you feel very welcome. The food arrives extremely quickly. I had the grilled trout—while not the best I’ve ever had, the excellent service made up for its slight shortcomings in preparation. The chicken soup was delicious, and though the fish roe was fairly average, it's still a decent option for lunch.

Bad service. The waiter expected us to give tips although food was bad and he scolded us because we haven’t left any tip

The hotel room was pretty basic and clean. Nice touch with the electric kettle and the big screen tv. Overall good bang for the buck.
The food at the restaurant was all right, nothing out of the ordinary for a seaside place. The service was impeccable.

I go to Selena every year as it has the perfect location and great food/service. What can be better than a sea view and to be right on Balchick's promenade road, by the sea, few metres away from Queen Maria's Palace ?! It is perfect.

Average. Good service but prices are high considering the quality and portions and that is a critique of the chef rather than the establishment.
